I am now aware that I included Monaca’s last name, which isn’t supposed to be revealed until later in the game. It can be uniforms, escorts, performers, investigators, analysts, (forensics, etc) , a scientific job, clothes. The color scheme is standard enough as well, contrasting to the others where it does not dictate a specific job nor talent. In short, for your small brain to assume this, no. It is not enough for her outfit to dictate a talent. Secondarily, most outfits worn in the series DO not dictate talent(outside of the ones with specific accessories, like Tsumiki or Pekoyama. For instance, I have an idea for proof of concept. Show an individual merely the outfit of a large amount of the ultimates. Let’s say, some that are obvious, like Nanami, and less obvious ones like Hinata and Gokuhara. With someone with no immediate information or knowledge of the character, or game, guessing a talent purely from outfit is inconclusive and will likely lead to a different result no matter the individual, as long we have the factor of their lack of knowledge. In essence, no. Kirigiri, and others talent is not obvious from their clothes.

Earlier today, Kodaka (the creator of DR) tweeted that both of the original singers of this song had passed away, and I looked into it myself to confirm it. May they rest in peace. I’m glad their work was able to inspire so many people into singing their songs with them.

Let me rant for a second, Nagito(in despair arc) could've used a magnum revolver instead of a 9mm for that one scene where he pulls out a gun on Junko, I mean sure it would make his luck 10 ten times more BS(Because the book under his school uniform stopped the bullet Kamukura shot), but it still would've made more sense considering every protagonist uses a revolving chamber for their truth bullets, not counting Komaru though, she uses semi-automatic.

Watched this before I started the franchise, came back to it after finally completing it, this video is absolutely perfect in presenting the whole series without giving anything away. Love the little hints to actual major events like an actual anime opening.

Coming back to this, we really do need another Danganronpa game.
And who knows? Maybe Andrew himself would be in charge of the opening sequence.
We need them to make V3 and Komaru and Toko anime’s as well, Komaru and Toko did so much more together for them to just get a little bit of screen time (with Monaca) other lil ultimates didn’t get screen time, or the special monokumas and side characters that were related to the main cast.

The fact that this is pretty much ENTIRELY spoiler free is incredible.
EDIT, BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO BE SAID: A lot of the things that y'all are talking about being spoilers aren't actually spoilers. Spoilers are things that ruin the surprise of the story. For example, the official THH opening shows scenes from Leon's execution. That's a spoiler. Likewise, having Monica's last name is a spoiler, because learning her last name is supposed to be a surprise.
The one that I see people referencing the most here is Celeste and the flames. That ISN'T a spoiler. If you showed it to someone who hadn't played the game, they wouldn't know what the hell it meant.

No one really pointed this out yet but spoilers:
Maki and Rantaro had the same pose, and even posed as "opposites" or "mirrored" and I think there's two interpretations for it
1. They're the only ones in V3 whom we don't learn of their talent from the beginning, Rantaro forgetting his talent and Maki faking her talent
2. I think this is the most interesting part, we learn in chapter 6 that Rantaro is actually the Ultimate Survivor because he survived the previous (Danganronpa 52) and was forced to participate in the next (Danganronpa V3/53) and in the trial, we learn that the punishments for Maki if she sacrificed herself is that she will be forced to participate in the next killing game (Danganronpa 54) and will be the next "Ultimate Survivor"
TL;DR for second interpretation: Rantaro is the Ultimate Survivor and Maki was supposed to be the next one
turn on subtitles during that part and it says something about turning away so it's probably going along with the subtitles but i could be wrong

@@thanayodyingcharoen576 It was revealed in V3's Chapter 6 that the official name for Danganronpa V3 is Danganronpa 53 (V is the roman numeral for 5) so no, V3 is not the 3rd killing game, it's the 53rd, plus it was also revealed that in V3's world by Tsumugi that DR1 up to DR3 that they're just works of fiction. And, no, just no, I don't know how fan games are brought into this but no fangames are not even connected to the Danganronpa lore. Also it's said that V3 is the last Danganronpa game, I only said that in Chapter 6's trial, Maki was meant to be the new "Ultimate Survivor" if she sacrifices herself.

Unironically the absolute BEST thing a Dangan-fan has ever made. This was so smooth and professional! It had exactly the right amount of not-quite-spoilers-but-if-you-played-the-game-you-understand moments and was beautiful!
There was one spoiler but i think they didnt realize they put "Monaca Towa" shes always refered to as Monaca for most of the game cause you dont find out shes part of the Towa family until the final chapter
