South OC Cars and Coffee is the world’s largest weekly car show, attracting a mix of 1000-3000 plus hypercars, supercars, exotics, vintage, classic, muscle and sports cars, hot rods, rat rods, pickups, 4x4's and motor cycles. No registration is required, spectators are welcome and we meet every Saturday, rain or shine! We get celebrities, TV show shoots, and manufacturers showcasing new models and prototype vehicles. Absolutely beautiful!!! I've been around these all my life in South Africa. I've owned a Series 3 Safari Station wagon 2.6 sidevalve (one of the best, never let me down in 7 years of offroading and overlanding around our farm near the Kruger NationalPark and KwaZul Natal), a Series 2a 88" ex military signals unit with a 2.5l Chevrolet engine, series 3 gearbox and sSalisbury rear diff (very unreliable conversion and not fun to own long term due to it's voracious appetite for spigot shaft bushes) and a brilliant, extremely enjoyable Defender 2.5 td5 station wagon which took me all over the Southern African Bush in my work with water management and IoT with water. I drove around the Kingdom of Eswathini for a week without a clutch and all the way back home to Durban before I could repair it. What a beautiful machine. I now own a Mahindra s6 double cab pikup 4x4 Karo which is in the same league. Indestructible, competent, lovely to drive and simple. A worth successor. I still want another Landy...
