My sister went to a shop with like old stuff, etc and at the bottom of a box of toys was an almost unused pokemon yellow that the owner didn't really care about, and my sister was a child so she sold it to my sister for 2¢.
These can be hardware hacked by using an Arduino with a relay module. Solder a couple of wires off the pedometer switch (which is literally like a little steel contact that moves though a tube as you walk) and write a programme on the Arduino that will switch the contacts. It can't do it that quickly but it does work. 3 clicks a second is about the maximum from memory.
I'm gonna try that when I get home tonight :D I have all the virtual console Pokemon games and I never even thought abiut trying that thanks for the sub btw means a lot!
0:28 wait, wait, wait. The gameboy pocket has an IR port... doesn't it? it should also work with the gameboy lite as well, since the gameboy lite is basicly a gameboy pocket with a backlit screen.

My cousin on my mom's side had one. I wanted it. So I kinda stoled it, thanks to my brother's help and I loved it. When I went to school a kid saw me with it and he wanted to borrow it. And well. I never saw it again.

Ann George eBay is your best bet, or get like my and find it at a thrift store for half the price. But I wouldn't hold your breath. I recommend getting the first model.
Because the first model is more of a virtual pet and didn't one a specific purpose in relation to a Pokemon game. The model I have is mainly a gimick for Pokemon Gold and Silver in which you can get in game stuff.
I remember the Hi Lo game being super fun. A seemingly innocent interaction that molded me into the irresponsible crypto trader I am now. Seriously this game would never come out today, it was straight up teaching gambling to kids.
