Oh god, trauma bonding is not people bonding over shared trauma. It's when a person forms a deep attachment with someone that is causing them trauma/ harm. (For example, Stockholm syndrome is a form of a trauma bond)
I have started to watch this series as to remind myself that these are real people sharing their stories and how mentality unstable, traumatic and poorly malfunctioned mind they are. And i think it mostly happen in big cities where the concept of love is just chiling with and fucking each other. I was in a relationship with a girl for 4 yrs . It was purely based on feelings and true nature of love. Broken up 3yrs ago, it was difficult to move on and never been in relationship again since that. I literally not finding anyone who can love in its truest sense. All they do is to play mind games with each other, using for physical needs, money, entertainment. I feel like old school, while i belong to this generation i don't feel like I'm of this generation when it comes to love, having a companion, your soul mate, your everything to do with, a single person you can blindly trust, and growing old with your sweetheart like in old times people used to do it. Don't complicate this pious form of emotion, be simply human and love will naturally come.
Why would u think people in true love won't be having sex? Very presumptuous. People in true love can have sex when they get to. Also very presumptuous of u to think it happens only in big cities like people in big cities have nothing else to do. I see probability of that more happening in the villages where there's khets everywhere and no burden of schools, tuitions, and extra curriculars on kids. That's my presumptuousness. Does it mean it's a fact? U didn't have sex for 4 years because u both didn't get a chance to explore that side of the relationship. Doesn't mean someone who gets to explore it has a lesser form of love than what u had. The proof is in the fact that even if u believe in a more pious form of love there is no sex, yours did not last! Maybe if u could let go of your prejudices and presumptuousness u would have found true love, have you given it a thought? U want to go back to generations where people were married without their choices in mind, where women were forced to have sex with a stranger at a very tender young age and then continue to live with them for the rest of their life. That wasn't true or pious love. It's not pious relationship when u take away freedom of choice from the parties involved. Old times weren't necessarily good times. It still happens in small towns and villages, where parents arrange marriages of their young daughters to some stranger they met hardly once. Have u ever sat and thought that maybe your own mind isn't really stable too, u urself are going through some trauma too, and maybe u have a malfunctioning brain too before calling them names?
