    Thank you. Last couple years they’ve been appearing in more places and haven’t gone away. Abdomen, chest, palms, arms, and lower legs. The ones on my arms and lower legs starting appearing recently but they are pretty small and scattered. Glad to find some info. Have a few other things going on. Maybe they are all connected.

    My little boy has a petechial rash on his inner thigh. It is about the size of a silver dollar. It’s an odd place. No injury. He found it while going to the bathroom last night. He woke up this morning with a wet cough and feeling tired but aside from that he’s ok. I don’t want to be an alarmist so I’m watching it. I’ll take him in if it worsens. I’m second guessing myself though.

    Hi! I have MCTD w/APS high platelets not low. It’s a rare combination and no one has been able to answer why I have red spots. They are on my feet and ankles then creep up my legs to my groin, and are on my hands creeping up my arms. I have some on my face, too. They did a biopsy and it came back negative. I’ve been to two dermatologists, and they cannot explain them. Because my condition is similar to Lupus, they tried hydroxychloroquine sulfate, but it enflamed my red spots and they started to burn really bad after two weeks on the drug. Because MCTD is a ‘basket’ of different immune disorders, the polymytosis is the worst. Where I get the red spots, I’ve been losing muscle mass. I have skeleton hands and feet, and ankles, and again, it creeps up my legs, which are slender and my arms are too. I’ve noticed rashes on my breasts this past year, but my stomach is bloated. I have trouble swallowing food, my esophagus doesn’t always work, and has much scar tissue from years of throwing up. I was severely low on potassium, which now with my numbers at about 3.2, a bare minimum, I no longer throw up. Sometimes my spots increase, but never go away, they just appear slower. It’s just weird how you can see my bones on the backs of my hands. I had two heart attacks last year, (unvaxed), now on blood thinners, I am only here by the grace of God. It would be nice to know why I’m getting spots...it started 20 years ago, just on my ankles.

    • @fredturner4447
      @fredturner4447 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also have it on my ankles.

    • @blondek767
      @blondek767 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have muscle loss? My hands and feet now look skeletal. The spots now have creeped up my legs, which have lost much muscle and have zero fat. Also hair loss on my legs and arms. I’ve found getting pedicures help, the lady massages my feet and ankles to help with blood flow. Cheaper than physical therapy, lol. But my feet to my shins look awful, scratches and bruises do not go away. They look like someone beat me with a stick.

    • @fredturner4447
      @fredturner4447 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blondek767 Yes, I have muscle and weight loss and almost all the hair on my legs is gone. I don't have the issue on my arms. I saw something about using a rebounder on youtube being good for the lymphatic system. You might also check into that.

    • @blondek767
      @blondek767 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will research that! Thank you! I have found that keeping my feet up in intervals helps because my feet go numb if I stand or walk too much. Also, keep them warm. I sleep with socks on and use slippers all the time. I bought a package of white cotton ankle socks and bleach them. This way it avoids bacteria. With my hands, I bought multiple pairs of cheap stretchy gloves, keep them everywhere so when I go out I must wear them. My hands go numb when they get even a little bit cold. I’m on blood thinners now to improve circulation. In these warm days of summer, I try to go barefoot as much as possible, walking around outside, to toughen up my feet to force my body to increase blood flow to them. I found no benefits to eating healthy, but did in taking vitamins. It’s a funny thing. I often joke around about it...I take so many vitamins I don’t need to eat food. Cardboard will do!

      @fredturner4447 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I often used compression socks in my everyday standing jobs during five years, and it's been already one year that I noticed side effects, having developed petechial rash on my ankle: Lateral/anterior parts. As soon as I noticed the cause, I did not wear compression socks any more, however the rash stays there, and it does not disappear. What can I do for it to heal.

    I have noticed petechiae and pupura my legs, thighs and rarely arms for few years now. I have developped gluten and seafood allergies recently.
    Usually these appeared in cold weather and after consuming seafood accompanied by stomach bloating etc.
    Is there any relation with allergies or I should be worried about something worse?

    Oh my gosh, this video made so much sense! I've been dealing with a petechial rash for a couple of years now, and no dr could ever explain it. I have fibromyalgia and sjogrens along with spinal arthritis. Did I understand that those inflammatory conditions could be a part of the reason for the petechial rash? I have stopped using nsaids at my Dr's recommendation, and the rash appears l less often now.
