Loving these Mommy Conversations. Funny enough, men with children(baby daddies) are quite bitter, emotionally caught up& unavailable. I declined single men who wanted me cos i felt they won't man up to me having children. I felt i didn't deserve them. Now I know better. Jackie come back again &again. It's true you usually choose the familiar, if i got something different I looked at it skeptically. The biggest healing is accepting, acknowleging&forgiving yourself for your choice. Which is tough. These conversations are freeing. Thanks Mutoko.

This is such a great conversation. Being the bigger picture for the sake of the children. All parents co-parenting should listen to this

Wow Jackie you nailed it become better not bitter that’s the way to move on in any situation. The only reason I look to the past is to LEARN THE LESSON AND MOVE ON. I don’t wanna learn the same lesson twice. Once is enough and time is not on my side.

Nothing that is so heartbreaking like that father who pretends to care by giving the kid false promises that he never fulfills that's my predicament....i would rather he doesn't even make that call.

You get what you give. It's just energy. The 3rd law of motion in physics- for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. So if you give manipulation, that's what you will get.
If you give love, you get love.
The most important thing is to work on yourself! It's vibration!

Great discussion with mamu take home pointers. But who talks to the men? Many forums advice women but rarely do people talk to men. It would be nice to have this too

....the real challenge is that we have society that is mostly not there. If you get what I mean. Not woke enough to understand putting emotion s and brokenness aside for the child's sake. That's why the two adults will still treat each other badly despite the child. At some point, the person with custody has to make tough decisions like, moving on. Because you may bring an unready partner in, in the name of the child, only to damage the child more.
For me, you don't want the committment it comes with,by all means, stay away. Let me pray to God for wisdom on how to proceed.
