I'm an American living in Japan so I don't know this show or these actors, but I love Seth interviewing them. This is what Late Night was for, to shine a spotlight on lesser known but good quality actors. I hope all the best for Jake Lacy and Jennifer Coolidge.
Geez. How about 2 segments with Jake? Anyone else notice that in White Lotus, Jake's character was a lot like Andy Bernard, right down to going to the same Ivy League school, Cornell? Jake is so freaking good in A Friend of the Family that if I were walking down the street and saw him, I'd get the urge to find a baseball bat and take a swing at his head. He embodies the oily creepiness of Bob Berchtold so well.
Definitely an actor I’ve come to admire. Saw him in High Fidelity and fell in love with his character. Of course detested him in The White Lotus and I’m completely horrified at his portrayal in Friend of the family. But I do like that he taking on more darker roles. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for him.

Bubble kids was a Shaf reference I thought. For the kids they target for special instruction to pass tests while overlooking kids deemed too low to pass. I think.
I knew he looked familiar when I started White Lotus, i got so excited when I rememberd he was Plop from the office glad to see him still doing well! But yeah him in white lotus was fckn awful. Loved Alexandria Dodarrio too!

He seems "like" a nice guy....but him saying "like" about 100 times was really annoying..! He couldn't get through one sentence without adding the word "like"...!!!
He was an azz towards Armond, but I was Team Shane when it came to him and his insecure wife. He was flawed but who works on their honeymoon? She was ridiculous!!!
His character in White Lotus drove me mad. He's a great actor.
