Honestly, I love it because I interpret it as how Wyndon sounded before Chairman Rose rebuilt it. Remember, Wyndon was in a bad state prior to Rose reinventing it and rising it out of its stale old past that it clung to.
Man Sword and Shield had such incredible music, too bad the cities themselves felt... empty, like did Turrfield even have any houses you could enter? I honestly can't remember, it looks so cool but you basically just went to gym and that was it. And with Wyndon, man, what an amazing looking city that I couldn't wait to explore like Castalia City... just to be disappointed when it was literally just three separate paths leading to a hotel, the Stadium, and few apartments :/ Sorry to rant, but I just felt that Sword and Shield could've been so much better. This remix itself is incredible Zame, you keep up the fantastic work!!

Pokémon sword are not bad pokemon games, but it could have been so much more.
Everytime I see games like odysee, botw, astral chain, xenoblade 2 etc. I can't help but compare them to pokemon.
The possibility is there but gamefreak decides to not go for it...
@@Partiklon Partially because it’s to late to rip the bandage off that would probably fix their problem. They should’ve stopped including every Pokémon in each game after Gen 2, leaving more time to flesh out the game with more new mons and keeping a smaller portion of older ones that would change with each game. I wouldn’t have minded the Dex cut if they didn’t lie about what they were doing and ultimately give us a middle finger in the form of paid DLC. Saying the DLC was worth it because it was the best part of the game doesn’t mean to much to me when it seems like most people set that bar pretty low to begin with. Just part of my opinion though, trust me there’s a lot to how I feel about Game Freak/ Pokémon Company but it’s not all bad a good deal of it is respect.

Exactly. But the music is no where near as good as prior generations. I dunno if anything will beat Sun and Moon's OST.
Now THIS is what I feel like Wyndon should have sounded like in the games.
I understand that the synth they used fit more the atmosphere and setting of being bustling and filled with life, but Wyndon's soundtrack just sounded like any old city for me.
This on the other hand, really gives me the vibe of a large, enormous city with grand wonders and at the same time, challenged and mysteries of its own.
Wyndon sounds like that because it WAS in a state of decay like any old city, but Chairman Rose rebuilt it and brought it out of it's old design and ways. It is now a city of technology...(even if it makes no sense why Alola, an environmental region, has far better technology than all of Galar.)
Yes, and instead of many electronic aspects. And I am aware that they tried installing a new air to it…but I 100% agree.
I’d imagine this would be the theme for Wyndon during the times of the Darkest Day many generations ago

The beginning feels like the peak of Mt. Lanakila, and the follow up slips into the more grand nature of Wyndon itself without the strange techno bits they included in the original. Breathtaking, yeah?

Wyndon, this theme is so powerful! I have not played SW/SH yet, but I think I will enjoy it. This orchestral arrangement feels so tense, but welcoming. I feel like there is a sense of completion, but also something left. Nice work Zame! You blew this one out of the park again! Keep up the awesome work you do, and thanks for the lovely arrangments (be they Christmas or Orchestral)!

Unova is the last region I've gotten through, but I'm always going to be a pokéfan, even if from the sidelines. So this is for a city? Sounds like a boss battle! Or a theme for the badge check gate or Pokémon League headquarters. The tone change 22 seconds in is what really caught my attention. It's super cool how the music is majestic, imposing/threatening (both in powerful and subtle ways), exciting, mysterious, nostalgic, comforting, and pleasant at different times--talk about a rollercoaster!

It’s not my favorite theme from Sword and Shiels, but your remix is actually nice.
I'll be honest, this theme is the only city theme that was actually memorable to me from those games.
I actually think this remix would sound great as a night version of the theme if Game Freak ever bothered implementing details like that.
