  • Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Sept. 27, 2024: Remnants from Hurricane Helene will bring us an increase in wind and bands of showers all the way through the upcoming weekend!
The wind will travel the length of Lake Erie, causing water to pile up in the western basin of the lake. This will bring water level rises along the western shores for the islands out toward Toledo. Waves will also increase with 5-10 footers expected out west -- waves will still be in the 3-6 foot range off the shore of Cleveland, but the western basin of the lake will feel the bulk of the wind impacts.
Rain will be scattered this weekend with a tropical humidity around. Temps will reach into the 70s each day. Rain chances will continue through the beginning of next week until a front sweeps through northern Ohio late Tuesday bringing fall-like air and lower humidity by Wednesday!

Cool air should be sticking around until mid-May!
