We have 19 crew members this year. It definitely takes the first couple of days to get everyone trained and up to speed before we start working in unison and get a rhythm down.
I enjoy the content but that explanation does not make sense especially when you are cutting a section. You then have to send 2 machines out to clean up the corner and they are not feeding the entire head. See what I mean?
I can see where you're coming from. We will use GPS when we head down to Texas. I believe the reason that we're using Kansas corners here in Oklahoma is because of the terraces and having to cut around those. It makes more sense to follow the Contours of The Terraces, then lift up and drive over it every pass. It is also a bit of a tradition to do Kansas Corners since this is the company's 50th year of harvest.

Thanks all of you for helping to feed us!
Great job on the video's, explaining the facts and figures is really cool. It's what harvesting is all about.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Definitely need more trucks to haul grain so combines don’t sit idle while waiting to be unloaded
Yep, but it's not too bad now
Love the fact you doing the explaining but man let’s get some ride along time.
What do you mean by that? Like video of actually running the equipment?
@@HarvestingTheSarcasm yes sir.
keep up the good video work!
Thanks, will do!
Love the videos!
Glad to hear it!
Man I miss wheat harvest in Oklahoma. Love seeing it getting cut.
It's quite fun
Thanks for your video.
Are those 40 foot heads on the combines-?

How many of theguys on your crew are new? Getting everyone trained has to be a huge task?

and aahh and uumm
What's the harvest company called that you work for?
Kansas corners is extremely inefficient and the fact that they are not unloading on the go when you have a cart further solidify my statement.
