The sonatas have a recall on the engine, call the dealer and they’ll tell you if you can bring it in, just make sure you change the oil before taking it because they will make an excuse and not Change it, had multiple sonatas that had this problem
August Baby 2013 up to 2015 I think? Maybe certain 2011 and 2012 models. For the 2.4 and 2.0T engines. The recall will usually show up on a history report if your looking at one whether it’s fixed or not
I just bought my 2017 explorer sport it said car was flooded and considered a “Run n Drive” the car was flooded with water that sat in there for 3 months no biggie lol had a dead battery went bout a new one and surprisingly cranked right up. I checked all the fluids aired up the tires and drove it from Oklahoma back to Dallas with no issues! Had to wash the carpet a few things to get the smell n mud out the carpet and fix the 3 row electric seats probably spray some wd40 on the gears that are rusted but other than that not bad for a first time auction buyer.
My aunt had one of those Sonatas. Apparently the engines are notorious for blowing up or just gving up completely, i'm betting that's what happened there. Which sucks, those were nice cars!
There is so much money to be made on the g wagon. But the issue is your going to have to spend a lot of money to make money anyway it’s a cool car but I bet those headlights are going to be super expensive maybe you could go with some aftermarket ones. Keep up the great work

The engine on that G-Wagen is cocked over to the right. With the damage being low down on the front left then that strongly suggests chassis/frame damage on the front left. Even with all the miles on it the G-Wagen is a big ticket vehicle so it has to have serious problems to be totaled out and that would do it as the chassis on these are not, officially, supposed to be repaired. The official repair method is to replace it...
Just an FYI that Sonata, the oil on those always looks black for some reason, I owned a 2011 Limited with the same engine, and within 3k miles even with full synthetic it looked like that, I read on the Hyundai forums that it was something to do with the direct injection.

i know this one is a 2007 but since its been the same body for decades they just do cosmetic updates and put 2016+ front and rear ends so they look like the new ones and charge more for them lol

I suspect most of the damage on the Tundra has been caused by something piling into the back of the fifth wheel trailer and pushing it off the hitch, down onto the bed sides and forward into the back of the cab and maybe pushing the whole lot into a pond or river. It definitely had a bad day and I suspect that sort of damage could easily continue down into the chassis/frame. If that's bent then there really isn't anything on it that's likely to be salvageable...
Just my opinion here i would love to see more working on vehicles than walk arounds. I like the walk arounds i really do but they get boring to me. Of course i like when you buy them etc...again just my opinion. Keep on keeping on my brother! Doing great job Randy!!

Maybe the Buick was a Lemon Law return? Maybe the brake issue couldn't be fixed correctly and the dealer just used Dealer Services to dispose it.
