    Good choices, I’ve never considered the course as you perform on how you’ve trained. Biggest challenge has been booking accommodation often before the race entry has opened.

      True re the training but it is key researching your 1st one as you do want to avoid the ball breakers at the start ;-)

    Tallinn, lake swim with zero underwater visibility (but hey it has NO jellyfish so that tops my list 😂), bike single loop full of false flats; run two loops with a hilly section. Two transition zones, not too far from the airport and apparently locals are top supporters / will need that in my hour of need 😅

    The Luxembourg race is superb but it had in recent years problems with the organisation and the water quality.

    How about Westfriesland? I'd say that's easier than Luxembourg for a beginner.
