Today I have got my hands on the H96-P Mini Android LED DLP Projector. This is a projector with a built in full android system, including a quad-core cpu, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage.
In this video I will be running all my usual test to find out how well it performs.

Chigz Tech Reviews hi... when i saw your review i ordered immediately to one local store here and got it on 4th day... the box of my unit it a bit damaged so i test my unit if its working and it is 100% working but my unit has a strange sound when i shake it.. its like there is a loose part inside the unit when i shake it.. i just want to know if your unit is like this also... because if not i will returned this for replacement... hoping for you quick reply.. thanks

Question. Is it 5 volt in? If so you can get a usb to round adapter to power it with a power brick, I do that with my Aodin T89.

Better than i expected very sharp image for 4k ..i didnt even know you can toggle the brightnes to make it brighter and when you do it looks amazing ..even better at night tho ..the size of image it throws out is out of this world ....would only say some righting in the hompage is bit blurry ..but when u watch a video its just complete sharp images ..so im thinking they are upscaleing the videos somehow

2 hour battery life. Does not have to be plugged in. Use anywhere as long as its dark.
The H96 series killing it again. It looks amazing quality and if this is the first they have done we know it will get better and better
Yes H96 has been working hard for 2018. This is my new PS4 gaming projector, I will get this ceiling mounted. PS4 looks stunning on this.
Stu its no 480p i checked the developer settings through an app because its rooted its granted all imformation of the devices its actually had ready i dont know why thry advertice it at 480p tho
Can you use it off the power lead or does it need to be constantly plugged in ?
Only thing not keen on is the low native resolution. Okay at 50" but enlarged up to 120" this would be seriously blocky and blurred. Are there any similar mini led projectors like this with higher specs like at least 1280 x 720p? Thanks
I tested 100inch and it looks amazing. I will made another video soon showing a 100 inch demo.

Hello , can this projector run ps4 games at 60fps without jerks? (possibly 4k 60fps with upscaling?)
I have heard of several cheap projectors (such as Vankyo 630 and Wimius S1) that are sold as 60hz / 60fps projectors but run 30hz for ps4 games

I bought a projector on eBay. An rca and its blurry. I only spent 40 so you get what you pay for. But I was wondering if these are blurry or how is the picture quality...i don't need 4k but 1080p at the least.
The picture quality on the H96 P is actually very good, movies and games look impressive on the big screen.
What does the reset hole do?
And can you adjust the volume on the h96p while playing ps4 HDMI in?
Yes you can adjust volume
@@ChigzTechcan the volume adjust in HDMI in using the h96p built in speakers. I have a another h96p version and I couldn't adjust volume, the PASSED label was transparent. And the system was different.

Is the lumens bright enough to watch in a lighter style room and how long does the battery last while playing the ps4?
Its bright but these projectors are designed for low light use, just like a portable cinema. Meanwhile battery life will be around 2 hours max.

Look I criticize a lot of pico projectors, but for movie viewing in a dark environment, 100 lumens and 480p is fine. You can go up to 120 inches without losing quality, if you go larger than then you start loosing the detail but still very watchable.

Hi Chigs. Love the review. They sell this version in both 1gb amd 2gb ram versions. Other than the price difference is it actually worth upgrading to the 2gb version over the 1gb? And in what scenarios would i notice the ram difference? Appreciate any info cheers!
Hi, I know that this projector has everything that is needed but I was checking on a website that mentioned that '400-1000 ANSI lumens are good for a presentation but for non-portable projection, a typical indoor space 3000 ANSI lumens would be sufficient'. Now I checked their products but they are way too expensive. Now, on your vid, everything looks nice. It seems like I should get it. But U did not show how does it work where there is more light outside, for instance during a day or even under what light it would be totally invisible. I really don't know because I was thinking of getting this device but the lumens in this did put me off. I have an eye on this device for $221.85 - I include the link for the comment:

No there is no HDMI out, only HDMI in. So you cannot connect this to a TV.
Can I use this as just an android box also, with out using the projector
Yes you can use as an android TV box, however, you cannot connect to a TV so you will have to use the projector.
yes, you can use it as android tv box, just install the tv channels apk, then realize the watch tv function.

Hi Mate- firstly thanks a ton for making amazing video and giving very insightful, honest review. Very much appreciated. I got this one and indeed I like the quality of projector overall and nice performance. Just one glitch I’m facing on AirPlay stuff. Whenever I try to connect it says failed. Though I can play audio from iPhone to projector but it’s not connecting to full airplay as I constantly see connection failed error. As a work around I downloaded some airplay app in projector and it’s able to connect but as it’s free version of app in projector I see some issues to use for long. Do you have any thoughts on this? I need to use AirPlay as I have iPhone only. I’m bit disappointed with this ./ can you help here mate. Thanks a lot in advance.. god bless you

Chigz Tech Reviews I've been trying to find an H96-P with the maximum amount of internal storage and RAM (american plugs). Can you help me find one- 2 gigs RAM 32 gigs internal storage or close to that.

No a wall will do
It will come up at the bottom super user has granted permisions and u can set the resolution to whatever u want even a 1080p but remember you will have a smalller display and there is only so many pixels your projector produces so i say no more than 1280 by 800 is perfect for projector this size ..plus theres only so many pixels on the chip itself to produce

No this does not support iOS mirroring. (no airplay)

Quite similar but I found the H96 to perform overall better.
Ideal for carrying out on holiday and even camping 🏕. Hope the bulb 💡 inside last for years. Pity you can't power with reachable battery pack.
Yes you can actually use this with a power-bank, you need a USB power cable.

Good pocket projector with best android box all in one, others android projector only supply 1G ram and 8-32internal with stupid processor...
BUT... I'll pass it because of the colour is rather over saturated, i have mini unic, even i change the colour... the red colour wont reduce 😤

mark gibson , bulb life is about 20,000 hours and the max screen size is 120 inches, and yes it was all in the promo video, I suggest you watch the video again & pay attention to the details.
Miracast woks with iPhone?
Native Resolution 854x480 But its touting 4K? So it accepts a 4K signal and down scales it, right? Super misleading
+arghreganoh No the point is it has the power to play the 4k files smooth. I was demonstrating the power. This is obviously not a 4k projector.
At least it can do it. I dropped £600 on the avegant glyph, and it won’t take an input signal above 720p. Imagine plugging in hdmi and having it say it can’t show the screen because the resolution is too high. Standard def is ample for me, and always has been really. But it’s comforting to know it can display whatever media you throw at it.

That looks pretty darn good, (did you try bluetooth) this would be great stealth ceiling mount unit.

What's the difference between this one and the Qintaix
They are very similar, specs are the same too, but they have different home screens and apps. The H96 supports miracast and appears to be provide a much brighter image.

No SkyGo does not work on any portable device including TV boxes and projectors.
