I just consider it part of my charity work. I don't expect, or ask, for anything in return. This applies to everyone that I care about, male, or female, that I feel is seriously trying to make a better way for themselves. To another point, I believe that anyone who wants designer shoes/clothes, or whatever, should be able to provide those things for themselves. They will not get them from me. You're right, I've seen this happen to one of my friends, several years ago. I hated this because it was an emotional manipulation making me want to help him but then can't because ik he won't take it or if he does he doesn't want to be reminded of the help I gave him. Long story short I only gave a listening ear, advice and backed it up with the word. Never gave any money reason being it never felt right in my spirit.

He thought he could control me slyly by giving me modest items...I fell for it for a short while. I remember booking a trip for the weekend for myself and I told him about it. I'd been asking him for ages for us to get away but he was too tight to spend the money. We were on the phone and he asked me to WhatsApp the ticket cus he didn't believe me. But a few days later he said he had a surprise. Had only gone and booked a flight to where I was going acting like he trying to do me a favour by coming. God will give you intuition/wisdom and yes there are a lot of grown boys out there; BUT there is an equal amount of good real men out there too! Get your body right, get you some therapy and heal old wounds that you keep trying to forget about without dealing with them. Tony is absolutely right! But this is why he preaches so hard about having a real relationship with the LORD FIRST then worry about a relationship later! God will give you intuition/wisdom and yes there are a lot of grown boys out there; BUT there is an equal amount of good real men out there too! And you as women too, have to make sure your presenting your best self forth too! Get your body right, get you some therapy and heal old wounds that you keep trying to forget about without dealing with them. Eat better and take time to care for you and get to know you as a women or man. When you know your worth and REALLY love yourself; you can see through a grown boy BS! I’m 27 and I been through more then most women and I’ve learned really from the streets; and the MAIN thing that will set you free is a relationship with GOD first!!
