YEAH! A REAL EARTHLY VERA!! Firefly is one of my favorite shows of all times. Adam Baldwin was awesome as badboy Jane. One of the funniest shows was the town where Jane was considered a folk hero for letting his entire stash of cash rain down...they believed he was super generous. He was just scared to get caught stealing it. When he returned they literally sang songs of praise and built a statue. Cowboys with big guns in Space. Wonderful.

Six men came to kill me one time and the best of them carried this. It's a Callahan fullbore autolock, customized trigger and double cartridge thorough-gauge. It's my very favorite gun.
Don't make fun of my nerdiness, but several years ago, I purchased a bolt action fifty cal...(fits to a ar-15 lower)...had a custom lower engraved with VERA on the side!
Hey, Kirsten! Yes the character Jayne from Firefly was definitely my favorite Adam role as well. That was a great show, too. All good actors, excellent special effects, and great writing, too!
Great photography shots. I got to meet Mr. Barrett years ago at a gun show in Knoxville, TN. Nice guy and he had 3 prototypes of single shot rifles. They were stainless steel and one was completely broken down in pieces to show how it worked. Later on a friend let me shoot one of the box fed models a few shots. It had the big flash dispersion device on front that threw flames upwards and out the left and right and was quite impressive. I can see the improvement in the new rifle has little muzzle rise and almost no flash signature, very little fire. Don't know how they fixed that problem, but with the weight reduction, it would be nice. The one I shot recoiled similar to a 12ga shotgun. I can imagine that those first prototype models would have been quite an experience to shoot. Probably like the old 8mm Mauser a friend used to have that tried to dislocate my shoulder. LOL Great to see your smile...keep on shooting!
I really love the way she dresses modest. Most female online personalities won’t hesitate to wear revealing clothing in order to gain viewers but at the same time will act as if they’re not at all wearing what theyre wearing for the soul purpose of gaining viewers. This woman is in touch with her femininity and does not need to resort to showing skin because she has actual skill and is impressive in what she does as a woman. We need more woman like Kirsten Weiss in the world to teach the younger generation to behave like actually lady’s and not like Cardi B and nicky minaj.
Firefly. Best scifi series ever. Baldwin was great as the shifty mercenary “Jayne” on board. My kids even named their first car after that character because they knew it would only be there for them if it wanted to.

LOVE that slow mo!! I shot the 50 many times from a rifle and with AP rounds I could get about 1 1/2" through steel. They will not go through a tank. The 30mm gun I had in my plane had trouble really getting into tank armor. I carried 1150 CM rounds which would tear up an APC, but heavy armor always gave resistance. When we ran out of Maverick's of course.....
If you put a small, rectangular pad filled with #8 lead shot sewed into the right shoulder in your "shooting vest" or jacket the lead shot will spread the impact out over a wider area and protect bony structures and add a little bit to the mass to help reduce recoil. I've used this trick while sighting in my lightweight .300 win mag.
Somehow, as much fun as it is watching, that pales in comparison to being hands on with that bad boy and hanging out with Adam and the crew. It is still a lot of awesomeness just getting to see it. Thanks a lot for sharing with all of us, you're the best Kirsten.
@@johnbeckham51 You're right on the tannerite and likely chalk powder. I've put about a half cup of gasoline in 20 oz bottle surrounded by tanneriite and produced a nice fireball like they had, well not nearly that size but similar effect

Nice camera work and loved the shockwave right before the color explosion. You were plenty big enough to handle that Barrett. You might have mentioned any alteration in your stance needed for a bigger weapon.

The shells from those caliber rifles are the perfect size to make bottle openers...... I have several.... OH and you can grind a slot in the side of the casing to make it a bottle opener too.....LOL!!!! But not as fun that way........
That Barrett 50 has 3 different recoil absorbing systems. The muzzle brake, a shock absorber system on the barrel and it is a semiautomatic, where recoil is absorbed in the action. All of those together abdorbes a lot of the "Kick"

This lady is great for bringing responsible people to the 2A arena. I hate to say this but her appearance and what most people consider pretty is partly the reason why she grabs attention, at first. Once you get over her looks she speaks so intelligently and has amazing skills which brings many to this channel. Safety is paramount.

Well,tank armor was a lot thinner when the .50 BMG round was developed.

I have held one of those big 50 cals, they are heavy. During basic training I also shot the M-60 both are great guns.
