I love how respectful you are with your neighbors and others while you are filming and how you care for your property. How exciting to have your ideas and visions come to life. ♡
It never ceases to amaze me how much space you have over there in the U.S. The huge machinery that can just toddle down your lane and through your garden, ripping up stuff and putting it all back together again like it was nothing at all. I’d love it! Our little island is so tiny in comparison (UK) I think my garden is smaller than your one barn! I love, love, love my daily Garden Answer fix and you have inspired me to do so much with my tiny patch. Thank you Laura (and Aaron of course) 😊🥰
This is especially true since they are in the suburbs. Most of those rarely go above 2 acres (and that is huge for most), in most of the country. Which is why most of American houses have larger rooms than in the U.K. Those of us out in the country, however, can have far more land.
their property is largely possible because it was outside of the original town founded in that area - over time the landowners sold off sections and they turned into housing developments annexed to grow the town but the original farm house once had 1000 acres - so well outside of town.
Love how you really think through your tree projects and how they benefit not just your property, but your neighbors also. You are a good steward of what you have.
They should have academy awards for the best YT channel, Garden Answer would win in a heartbeat! I could go on and on about the realness, the content, the filming quality, the knowledge sharing, the humour, and the list goes on. As each video is coming to its end, I am saying, noooooo. Thank you Aaron and Laura for all the enjoyment you bring. Edmonton AB, zone 3
💃💃 This makes me so HAPPY!! I can't wait to see what you and Aaron have in store for us this year. I watch you guys every day and wonder what you will bring us that day. You never disappoint me.
I appreciate that so many of the crews that come to do work don't mind being filmed. It is a good reference point to see how things on a project like this will go. Noticed how mindful the crew was of cleaning up the area too.
Laura, It is so AWESOME, seeing you tackle anything you can. I just have to laugh out loud as you remind me of me. 😂 When you attempted to move the big trunk after Aaron was putting the tractor up, was refreshing. Today's show is wonderful. Seeing the men remove those elms was so instructive. Thank you for the ride. ☺️ The diversity of your shows make them wonderfully exciting. Great job, Laura. ❤
Wow! Now that was a proper tree removal. Makes me mad about the people my grandpa hired. 5 trees to be cut, took them over 3 weeks to do it, they left most of the mess and didn't grind the stumps properly! These people in your video did amazing.
I love how they have, or can find, professional people to come in and work hard and fast to get things done. And... cleaned up. There are absolutely zero people like that around where I live. You're lucky if they call you back, or show up, or come back, or finish the job, or do it correctly, or not stolen something in the process, or not over-charged ($250 for just showing up, before the hourly rate or job quote kicks in!), and not once has anyone ever cleaned up afterwards! It's the worst!
Towards the end of moving the tree with the tractor, the way that Laura was standing with the wind moving her hair, all I could think about was this was the garden version of that scene where the woman is on the bow of the Titanic!🙂
Wish I could hide my neighbors kid junk. You know what I mean-- swings, sandbox, and Lil house plastic junk which is right next to fenceline and my patio view. Ugh
I love seeing you and Aaron work together so well. What a beautiful day to be outside! You have accomplished so much. Lots of tree planting for us to look forward to!
I love watching all of you working together like a well oiled machine. I did have to laugh out loud when Laura hopped on the tractor so fearlessly 🤣😂. I also love how you just dig in and get the job done so quickly. I just love, love, love your videos!! Thank you!
The stump with its new purpose is perfect! It fits right in that new location. Always makes me laugh when I see tiny Laura tackling any job that needs done. Trying to move that stump was Typical, reminds me of myself! I'm 69 now but still try to do as much as I can when a project comes to mind. Love your videos❤
Lol as the tree guys were there taking out your trees, my neighbor was also having 2 trees removed. The sound of chainsaws coincided with the video. Perfect. Really enjoyed this type of video. Progress is always so invigorating
This video was so interesting from start to finish. I loved seeing Laura trying to tackle moving the stump, I knew it was going to be impossible but was tickled by your determination!!
What you're doing is awesome. I live in Austria (Europe) and watch your videos every day. Thanks Laura I'm now garden-obsessed. We have a horse ranch and my family is wondering why I'm now doing so many outdoor projects!😅😂
I love that you’re going to be moving the pear tree , it just seemed to be lonely where it was lol . I love that you can see all the structures now ! I watch you every single day especially now that I’m recuperating from a knee replacement . I just don’t know what you have in store for us that particular day but I’m glad that you always have something to share , thank you ❤️🌸🌼🌺
I absolutely LOVE these type projects….super productive and gives a great image of how all the new properties marry/blend in with the original one. Looking forward to seeing the next video when Chad comes and seeing the pear espalier moved. The stump was a perfect gift!!
Love watching these big projects from the very beginning. Gives scope to just how large an area you are developing and how much things have changed over the years. Kudos to you for respecting your neighbours as much as you do!
I love your videos. I started watching you while you were still in the townhouse and had just 9-10 thousand subscribers. I was still working even. I almost never miss a day seeing your videos and if I do miss a day I get to watch 2 the next day. You are the highlight of my morning. Thank you for doing these and taking us along on the journey. You have such a mixture of subjects for these that we never get bored and always look forward to what project you will be tackling next. This was a great one. Have a blessed day everyone.
I love seeing you adding boulders, burms, amd stumps to your landscappe. They add SO much interest. The burms give things a more natural flow. What you guys have done with your propoeety in the 4.5 years I have been watching you is just amazing!
I hate losing trees but I love watching tree crews work. Mainly because the same result takes me so much longer by hand. Aaron is doing great learning tractor skills. You guys are brave, filming the raised bed attempted move. My husband and I do tractor projects like that all the time and we wouldn't want to save it for posterity! This is going to be such and exciting infrastructure year.
Love the purposing of the stump by the pond it can change in area so dramatically. Up cycling at its best. I have had a lot 50 trees taken out just because of old age and liability, but chunks of them are being repurposed throughout the landscape, and I love this look.
I used to be just like you…I moved furniture, big planters and other things that were big 😂. Now unfortunately I’m unable to do to a bad back! I’m a retired nurse and moved patients with help which might have contributed to my bad back.🤔 I watch you and relive my younger years and smile at the memories! Just take care of yourself Laura ❤❤❤
I haven’t watched a lot of different TH-cam channels, but it seems like this is one of the few channels where people comment how they have to watch your videos all the time, and they see every one and never miss them! I think that’s quite a compliment, and I am one of those; I never miss a show!
And as I'm watching the attempt to remove the pear tree I'm wondering how far down into the ground the roots have grown! I love watching all your projects!
The Cattleman and I had a big belly laugh at the 4:42 Potted Pear Moment! In fact, we watched the segment twice! We have had many times like this since he switched from a large hydrostatic tractor to a big Ag tractor. Going big definitely changed when and how I get help with projects! ; D
Time for you and Aaron to go on a tree buying trip. I live in a townhouse, and you know how limited planting space they have, so I live vicariously through you guys.
This is the best kind of project to watch, imo! Lots of action and scenery. I kept thinking that since you are going to take the pear tree out of the planter, just take it out before you move the planter. You could improvise some kind of a platform or scaffolding to be able to stand high enough to dig the tree out. You may have to sacrifice, then repair/rebuild, the planter in order to protect the tree. It's worth it! By the time you read this, you may already have it done.
You guys really are the best neighbors, besides the beauty and care you provide you also inspire in creating a beautiful living environment❤ I know you certainly have for me, curious if the neighbor you purchased the last bit of property from had sold the house?
Good morning, Laura and Aaron, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA ❤ I can't wait to see the berm evolve. Elms are gone and Happy Neighbor 👍 Happy Gardening Everyone👍👩🌾 ❤️Peggy❤
Good morning!! Maybe make the extension of the barn from the roof line & add extra storage as a loft, then you could have the parking area underneath, like a carport... And you could add walls at another time to enclose the area.
Laura, you looked like Boudicea riding into battle on the tractor! (That is a compliment - Boudicea was a British Queen circa AD 60 known for her bravery and valour). You go, girl. 🇬🇧
I have heard the word 'boudiceas' several times in my life. As in she looks boudiceas. Didn't know the history of the British queen until I saw 'Hyacinth Bucket' attend a masquerade ball as Queen Boudicea. I'm from south central Illinois. We are surrounded by farm fields and many tractors.
It's always hard to remove trees but the feeling of new opportunites and improving the land with something better suited really does make it all worth it! We have 2-3 large trees needing to be removed this spring and I am feeling motivated after this video to plan for the replacements!
Laura - You reminded me of a Warrior Queen with her staff when you were riding the forks of Aaron's trusty steed . You are fearless! Love watching you & Aaron work together.
Laura &Aaron I 100% understand the desire to close in the property!! I have lived in my 100 year old Craftsman home for 40 years with no desire to leave it or my gardens but my home is in the city and my neighbors are terrors!! I wish I had the opportunity to close myself in with the beauty of trees, pines but due to power lines and property lines in a city area I am unable to. We are not even allowed privacy fencing over 6 foot to go past our homes leading to the front sidewalk area ! So please enjoy your beautiful haven for those of us who can’t it’s just perfect and as things grow in fabulous!!!🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲
Yaass queen! Aaron were you as impressed as I was when Ms. Larua got on the tractor? Not sure if that is just normal but I was really impressed. I was like "yaass queen, lady power!" 😆 Love watching the team work together. Your videos are so motivating. Can't wait for my Felco pruners! Side notes about your store. Thank you for the "thank you" email. I felt special to know that you guys are cheering on all us gardeners. Beginners and pros alike. Really nice. Thank you for that. Service is fast and by USPS which I love. Thanks team!
Thinking about your neighbors view is one of the kindest neighborly things one can do. Also, I wish every gardener would take care of nuisance trees bordering a neighbor's property. Wish you were our neighbors. Also, have you considered replacing your basket ball hoops with the moveable adjustable ones? Thank you for another wonderful video.
Wonderful seeing the trees removed. Excited to see the new property evolve. Your so great at planing the area. Maybe Benjamin will have a go-cart path. Lol.
Looks like pear box could be lifted section by section off the pear then rootball could be rolled into a tarp. Pears are pretty strong rooters so it's probably rooted right into the ground beneath. 😮
Love seeing what gets done when there are resources. Things get done the right way. Trees get removed - stumps ground and all. Transplanted trees get the fertilizer and top dressing they should. No 1/2 measures or skimping - Gardening Heaven 🤗🌱😇
Such a satisfying video to watch! The crew was so efficient. I love watching Laura and Aaron working together in the yard! Relationship goals! ❤ Love seeing the changes over the years!
It looks so neat and buttoned up after these few tweaks! I love seeing the horizon open up and the view just draws you in. Hey, I was thinking….how about a Member’s only invite to the Garden Answer 10th Anniversary celebration shin dig 🎉 Two tickets raffled off for all expenses paid to the loyalest of fans 😂❤ 😊
I’m glad I’m not the only one that moves newly planted trees. My husband gets so tired of me changing my mind, I have one right now that I know we put it in the wrong spot in haste and it needs to be moved. And he says he’s finished moving trees. 😂That is a cool stump piece. But I do question where you’re tucking it, those Norway’s spread out huge and at a pretty good pace.
You could just start thinking of the first spot you put a tree as their holding area, until you figure out the best spot for them! Maybe that would help? 😊
Love videos like this. Awesome music selections Aaron! I have been working in the garden all day with my new Felco 702 gloves from the Garden Answer store. Stellar quality!
We just moved a 7 ft Starfruit/Carambola tree last week. Your video is confirmation that we did our job right. We planted high and mulched well. Still watering thoroughly since we are in Zone 10a. BTW, I am thrilled you saved the soil sifter by the 2 trees that came out.
I love how thorough your tree guys are…even to the point of laying back the landscape fabric and raking back the gravel!! You are blessed to have people with such a great work ethic! Very rare here!! Question….will you somehow cover your well if you’re going to put a lane there? ( If it were my property, I know my husband would eventually run into it…hahahaha)
Always inspiring us! Whether it’s taking out old unattractive (and potentially dangerous) trees to relocating trees & features to make your plans and visions come to life… you are both innovative and thoughtful in your approach. For the back of the barn “Gator parking,” perhaps consider having the overhang mirror the roofline of the barn (vice straight across & angled outward from the barn) with some great beefy posts at the corners. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store this year!
What an exciting day of progress! I feel so lucky to be able to be along with you guys through this entire process. ❤️ I’ve kept wondering and don’t know if you’ve said, but are you going to remove the fencing that runs between your different chunks of property? Like between your driveway and the dirtlands? Just curious!
I admire your consideration of your neighbors and what they have to look at on your property. It is such an admirable trait in your character. So nice of them to text you with their gratitude for removing the elm trees (which were unsightly). The crew you hired took those trees down clickity-split; nice of them to allow you to film them doing the job.
Hi Laura and Aaron! I always enjoy watching the tree company/crew remove trees. They do such an awesome job and clean everything up so nice. Thank you so much for sharing!
So excited for how things are shaping up! Question: Will you still be expanding the pond area towards the barn now, with a stream to another, smaller pond? Or has that been scratched since you purchased the new property, necessitating the driveway? Thanks!
Hi Laura! I’m so exited to see your plans for all the new properties! It’s really inspiring and motivating to get out into my own garden, be brave and make some changes (on a much smaller 1 acre scale!) Question- have the plans changed for the ✨DreamStream✨? I am so excited to see the addition for the pond and how it evolves! No need for pet ducks, if you build it they will come! 🦆 Thank you for sharing your gardening lives with us- my fav way to start the day ☕️
So nice that you found a company that can both cut down the tree and do the stump grinding! I had to get two different companies, one to cut down and remove the trees and another to do the stump grinding.
I love how respectful you are with your neighbors and others while you are filming and how you care for your property. How exciting to have your ideas and visions come to life. ♡
Bei dem großen Gelände wäre doch auch Platz für einen überdachten Pool?
It never ceases to amaze me how much space you have over there in the U.S. The huge machinery that can just toddle down your lane and through your garden, ripping up stuff and putting it all back together again like it was nothing at all. I’d love it! Our little island is so tiny in comparison (UK) I think my garden is smaller than your one barn! I love, love, love my daily Garden Answer fix and you have inspired me to do so much with my tiny patch. Thank you Laura (and Aaron of course) 😊🥰
Most people do not have this much acreage. The average lot size for a house here is probably around 1/4 acre. Some have more, some have less.
That's true. Depending on your location. I only have less than a 1/4 acre 😢
Yes, my northern Arizona property is 5,000 sq ft lot with 1,200 sq ft house so sometimes I can barely swing a cat 🐈 😻 ❤ with my projects/dreams. 😂
This is especially true since they are in the suburbs. Most of those rarely go above 2 acres (and that is huge for most), in most of the country. Which is why most of American houses have larger rooms than in the U.K. Those of us out in the country, however, can have far more land.

Love how you really think through your tree projects and how they benefit not just your property, but your neighbors also. You are a good steward of what you have.
You call these videos a mess, but they are my favorite kind! All the things are happening and it's exciting!
Laura dreams up the projects and Aaron figures out how to make them happen.
They should have academy awards for the best YT channel, Garden Answer would win in a heartbeat! I could go on and on about the realness, the content, the filming quality, the knowledge sharing, the humour, and the list goes on. As each video is coming to its end, I am saying, noooooo. And they are so nice and NORMAL!
Me too! I have had to have two stumps removed in my lifetime and no crew was so careful. I was left with a pile of sawdust!😅
The diversity of your shows make them wonderfully exciting. Great job, Laura. ❤
Beautifully stated, and I wholeheartedly agree with all you said!
Ditto, I was laughing out loud cause I would have been doing the same thing😂

It's the worst!
Laura you move your plants like you’re moving furnitures! Because of you I’ve been braver to do the same with my plants.
Towards the end of moving the tree with the tractor, the way that Laura was standing with the wind moving her hair, all I could think about was this was the garden version of that scene where the woman is on the bow of the Titanic!🙂
Me too!! 😂
Me too!! She does everything😊
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wish I could hide my neighbors kid junk. You know what I mean-- swings, sandbox, and Lil house plastic junk which is right next to fenceline and my patio view. Ugh
lol, said the same 😁
I love seeing you and Aaron work together so well.
Thank you!
Laura is so cool, riding with her locust!❤
So interesting to see the elms taken down so quickly. I appreciate Laura's wanting to "re-use" the stump, & it looks great in its new location!.
Wow the way they took out those trees was like slicing through soft butter ! So satisfying ❤so excited to watch your progress!
You two work so well together. I want that Gator and the tractor. So much can be accomplished with the right tools!
What you're doing is awesome.
I live in Austria (Europe) and watch your videos every day.
Thanks Laura I'm now garden-obsessed.
We have a horse ranch and my family is wondering why I'm now doing so many outdoor projects!😅😂
Woohoo!
May we ask what kind of horses? Vielen danke !

Isn’t it a pear?
Love the progress! Always enjoy seeing what is coming next with you guys. The stump placement was perfect BTW.
Love watching these big projects from the very beginning. Gives scope to just how large an area you are developing and how much things have changed over the years. Kudos to you for respecting your neighbours as much as you do!
I love how you and Aaron are so considerate of your neighbors.
I’ll second all of that……you’re a productive part of many people’s daily lives and we’re much the better for it.

Y’all two are too funny! Dig up tree, haul tree and Laura to place (where should it be??) Study it…dig new hole, plant tree! Voila!❤❤❤
I'm so excited for you all. Can't wait to go tree shopping with you all, as well as to where they will be planted.
I used to be just like you…I moved furniture, big planters and other things that were big 😂. Now unfortunately I’m unable to do to a bad back! I’m a retired nurse and moved patients with help which might have contributed to my bad back.🤔
I watch you and relive my younger years and smile at the memories! Just take care of yourself Laura ❤❤❤
Eat nutrient dense anti inflammatory foods. May I recommend Dr Eric Berg TH-cam channel.
I missed why the tree was ever planted in a raised bed to begin with! What did I moss? I need trees! Lol
I don't remember for sure but it seems like it might have been a gift to her from Aaron.
Beautiful place with beautiful people...God always knows who will do best for His Earth...Thanks to all of you there.❤❤❤😊
The Cattleman and I had a big belly laugh at the 4:42 Potted Pear Moment! In fact, we watched the segment twice! We have had many times like this since he switched from a large hydrostatic tractor to a big Ag tractor. Going big definitely changed when and how I get help with projects! ; D

Wow that was amazing to watch. It’s like they were never there! They did a great job!
That's what I was thinking! They did great! Even fixing the gravel... our local tree trimmers our tree removers wouldn't have done that!
You guys really are the best neighbors, besides the beauty and care you provide you also inspire in creating a beautiful living environment❤ I know you certainly have for me, curious if the neighbor you purchased the last bit of property from had sold the house?
Laura...you riding the front of the tractor holding the locust tree...i could hear you singing " eee- haawwww!" With glee. I love you guys❤❤❤
Awww spring!!!
I love the stump. The trees removal makes a difference.
Good morning, Laura and Aaron, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA ❤
I can't wait to see the berm evolve.
Elms are gone and Happy Neighbor 👍
Happy Gardening Everyone👍👩🌾
❤️Peggy❤
Okay ladies and gents top that tractor ride GO LURA! ❤
A really, really unsafe practice 😢. Nooooooo
LOTS OF PROGRESS! So exciting to watch everything take shape! ❤
Ah! I loved watching Laura take that ride on the tractor with the honey locust tree!
With the right tools everything works better!!
Laura is so polite, saying "this will make a nice green screen" and not "this will hide the neighbor's junk" like I was thinking.
😂😉
Well, you know, that is what she was thinking. 😂
Right, and she and Aaron have had their own junk, too, so they know!
You guys are so blessed…and a blessing to all of us that watch. 🙏🏼
This video was a pleasant change from 'dig, plant, repeat, dig, plant, repeat'.
I love watching you and Aaron working together hope the pear tree gets to where it’s going
I really enjoy seeing these types of changes to your property. Thank you for sharing where you're going with this year's gardens!
Good morning!! Maybe make the extension of the barn from the roof line & add extra storage as a loft, then you could have the parking area underneath, like a carport... And you could add walls at another time to enclose the area.

Awesome move!!!😊
I love big projects. Keep them coming!
It's always hard to remove trees but the feeling of new opportunites and improving the land with something better suited really does make it all worth it! We have 2-3 large trees needing to be removed this spring and I am feeling motivated after this video to plan for the replacements!
Are you going to build a decorative structure for the water well? Would be cool to see you build something beautiful for it.
Laura - You reminded me of a Warrior Queen with her staff when you were riding the forks of Aaron's trusty steed . You are fearless! Love watching you & Aaron work together.
Busy, busy, busy! You get so accomplished in a few days! I'm always astonished. The stump found the perfect home.💕
Laura &Aaron I 100% understand the desire to close in the property!! I have lived in my 100 year old Craftsman home for 40 years with no desire to leave it or my gardens but my home is in the city and my neighbors are terrors!! Can’t terrible neighbors just make your life miserable? I’m sorry you have to live with that, but I’m happy for your beautiful home.
Yaass queen! Aaron were you as impressed as I was when Ms. Larua got on the tractor? Not sure if that is just normal but I was really impressed.
What an amazing job they did on those trees.
You all are such a team. What teaching for many future men and women.
The tree crew did a wonderful job! You'd never even know that the trees and stump were there. I literally gasped when they picked up the stump!!!
I love to watch the infrastructure of what it takes to have gardens this size! ❤❤
Such a satisfying video to watch! The crew was so efficient.
I love watching Laura and Aaron working together in the yard! Relationship goals! ❤
Love seeing the changes over the years!
Haha Laura riding the tractor like a beast! 💪
Laura, I love watching your videos exciting to see new ideas into your landscape. Such expertise. ❤
Really impressed with the tree removal crew! And,
how well you and Aaron work together!
The stump is beautiful in it's new place. Everything is really moving along a lot being accomplished.
I had the well thought also. I figured they had a plan…
Protecting the well is very important, especially if the area is covered in snow and has disappeared.
Augering. Auger is the correct verb to use.
Awesome teamwork, I love everything that is happening.
Fun to watch you two work together❤
So excited for how things are shaping up! Question: Will you still be expanding the pond area towards the barn now, with a stream to another, smaller pond? Or has that been scratched since you purchased the new property, necessitating the driveway? Thanks!
Morning Everyone 🥰🥰
🦆 Thank you for sharing your gardening lives with us- my fav way to start the day ☕️
Just amazing. It has been so fun to watch the last 4 years…one dream and vision after another, check check check!
Those tree stump grinders are just amazing?! It all looks GOOD!!
So nice that you found a company that can both cut down the tree and do the stump grinding! I had to get two different companies, one to cut down and remove the trees and another to do the stump grinding.
The crews you guys have in that area are so careful and tidy. That is a rare thing, in my experience.
Wow Laura! You’re a SUPERWOMAN! Even trying to move that humongous tree stump.
