What I like about your channel is that you show the gut work that goes into maintaining a large property. It's hard, continual work not all beautiful flowers and trees.
Hey guys, I would leave that concrete pad that was used for a dog run. If you get horses, it would be a perfect wash rack to bathe them. Looks like it already has a drain in the floor. It would be handy!❤
Yes Jancox, before tearing out and destroying everything, think of how it can be used in your future plans. A wash rack with drainage would be wonderful for dogs, horses, donkeys, or cattle.
I agree. I wish We had someone to help with our property. It is not this big but it got away from us when my father in law and mother in law got sick and passed. It took four years out of maintenance on our log cabin and flower beds.
Laura and Aaron - May I suggest a covered patio next to the tennis courts for parties, grandparents to “watch”, etc. I know my kids wanted us to participate all the time. A shady rest place would be helpful.
The court and lights were there before the housing developments and before Laura and Aaron moved in. You can see that in their older videos. I wouldn't call the neighbors disrespectful.
6: 43 TimeStamp: My dad made and used one of those! It is a framed soil screening thing.. where you shovel dirt/soil on top... and the good, sifted soil gets m ounded up below the screen, for use in gardens or pots or whatever! This takes out the sticks, rocks, and etc. that you don't want to use - Oh my goodness,... such a neat Flashback of my Dad...he's been gone since 2009... He loved gardening.....
Aaron reminds me so much of my husband, cutting the electrical wires with your pruners ! Lol 😂 Everything is looking great. 👍🏼 You cannot have an operation of your size without great help like Paul and Bethany. They are such a blessing! Thanks for taking us along. I love watching the day to day operations. ❤
Looks so much better with those huge lights poles gone! Behind the barn looks so good! Woohoo exciting projects coming this Spring! Paul and Bethany are hard working employees. I'm so happy for you all . I hope Paul records the demolition of the chicken coop . So satisfying 😊
What an amazing transformation Paul and Bethany did! Cleaning up is so satisfying. I want to say that thing at 6:45 mark looks like something you would use to screen homemade compost with but I could be wrong.
You guys are such nice thoughtful neighbors, you are always thinking about how something you are planning to change will affect the neighbors around you.
Lol. Love how you rescued those lopers from the man beast! That whole scene felt like someone cutting cardboard with my sewing scissors. keep having fun!
What a blessing to have Paul and Bethany!! You guys need a big barn with shelving and areas just to house all of the stuff that is stacked around outside!! Behind the barn looks amazing all CLEANED UP!!!!
Good morning! What a fun video. Love all the changes you are making to call this space your own. Can’t wait to see the progress you make as you go! Paul & Bethany are great employees for you. Such a good work ethic they have.
The kids are sure to love that cement pad for b ball, skating, tennis, riding bikes and much more! The fencing and plants will make it a secret garden!
Very interesting video. Paul and Bethany are worth their weight in gold! It was truly great to see those big lights removed. It’s fun seeing glimpses of your visions for this huge area. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!❤❤❤
DANG! how nice to have a large selection of lg. pots, pedestals and statuary. What a gift to have a barn for storage!! Major improvement with those light poles gone, looks so much better from the pond area especially. It seems like a black metal fence will get super hot in the summer and burn your vine plants you want to grow on it.
Hi Laura and Aaron! Paul and Bethany did a great job cleaning up behind the barn! It was fun hearing your plans for the new property. Thank you so much for sharing!
The wood frame with hardware cloth looks like a compost sifter. You'd shovel compost onto the mesh to remove larger chunks leaving fine compost for seed starting. Might be handy for that compost system Aaron is planning?
Good stuff - FYI in the future when pulling small trees & large shrubs with the forks on the tractor, it's much better to drive the forks forward and under the rootball and then use the wrist joint to pop the plant out. The wrist joint pivot can apply more upward force than the arms.
Of COURSE Laura swished the Grannie shot!! Girl nails everything she does. 🥰😂 I love that you’re sharing this whole process with us, by the way! ❤ I feel really grateful!
I am so excited for you and your new property. I love seeing you clean it up and make it your own. Paul and Bethany are such a great addition to your hard working team!
I’m always amazed by Paul and Bethany’s work ethics. In my mind there aren’t enough superlatives to describe them or what they bring to the table. I wish there was some way to expose the two of them to a larger audience of our youths because they’re such an inspiration for all to witness!! ❤🙏🥰
@6:43 Might be a contraption to sift earth/ compost/ sand from gravel... actually quite handy to separate the finer and the bigger particles falls into a pile on the front of the sloped screen. Bigger compost pieces can then be put back into the compost pile to further degrade.
At the 6:44 mark you ask what that might be. That is a screening apparatus to sift out larger rocks from ground soil. My stepdad made one for me. We have lots of rocks here in Seattle. Works like a charm. Great to watch all the work being done on your new property!
I didn't think your property could get any better...until today. I love that you and Aaron are so family oriented. Benjamin and Sam are so blessed to have you for parents !! 💖💖💖💖
So much going on!! Yay for unseasonal nice winter weather this year for your projects!! A Thought - It looks like there is good infrastructure for water drainage on the old kennel slab. If your plans are for horses someday - that is all set for a horse washing area….
Sooo excited for you!! I agree, getting all of the junk and random things you don’t want or need out of your way totally help clear the slate to start on the really fun stuff! But I have no doubt that the guys had a ball pulling things out and pushing those massive light piles over with the tractor!! 😂 If you haven’t ever done it, pulling shrubs out with your truck is very fun too!!
Laura and Aaron, do you ever pinch yourself when you look at how far you’ve come? I just love watching your dreams unfold and coming on the journey with you.
Love these kind of video's. Might want to think about pickleball court or adjustable net and stripes for pickleball and stripes for tennis. Such a fun sport that so many people can play, young and older.
So awesome to watch! I remember noticing them in past videos and assumed your home was next to a school or city park. What a difference! Y’all work so hard 💪❤️
When things are neat and clean, it’s pleasing to the eye and senses. Makes it all look and feel so much better. Big equipment so helpful. What a difference.
It is so fun to see your excitement and enthusiasm for new projects. Paul and Bethany are so efficient. Was intriguing watching them transfer all of the pots into the Red barn. They used the barn space so effectively. You really are lucky to have such a great team!! Can’t wait to see a new barn and horse paddocks. Exciting times👍👍👍
Yes! I’m so happy the light posts are gone-I always thought they spoiled the view. Too bad there aren’t invisible force fields to surround the court instead of a fence 😆. Nothing better than starting a new project and seeing it come to fruition. 😊
🎾🏀🌸 Omg could you imagine the fence around the athletic court being covered with honeysuckle, roses, and clematis all growing intertwined?! Would be so beautiful and fragrant!
Great work as usual! Just a thought--there may not be enough, but have you considered donating the chain link fencing and fence posts to an animal shelter or rescue?
Totally agree Aaron re the chain fence. You'll get heaps of use of that space now with it. We love our floodlit tennis court. It also has a 10ft chain fence right around it with a chain fence gate at either end for easy access. Having it floodlit really gave our family extra options for its use as a multi-purpose space all year round. One New Year eve party it was set up as a race track, with obstacles, for the kids and teenagers attending with parents to race remote cars. Btw love the use of your tractor to do the heavy lifting, rather than a human do it. Saves the back! 💜
Great shot Laura. I love that basketball court! Aaron has a smooth shot, too. Your cleanup has a fantastic vision. I have been watching since you were doing fairy gardens and crafty projects. The evolution of Garden Answer has just been delightful to watch. Love going along for the ride.
@@GardenKath Bethany was letting the boys play with their machines while just out of shot shot she was carrying the rolls of wire fencing, one under each arm ! Bethany, Susan and her two girls rock 💪🤗
HAHA I LOVE the granny shot at the end!
What I like about your channel is that you show the gut work that goes into maintaining a large property. It's hard, continual work not all beautiful flowers and trees.
Paul and Bethany are such hard workers! Arron too! Great job. Teamwork It’s going to look amazing. It’s nice to see the transformation.
And, the neighbors will love the clean view.
We are on acreage and yes it’s nice to look over & have a clean view. It’s amazing how much one can still from a few hundred feet away.
So exciting
No one at Garden Answer is afraid to work.

Yes Jancox, before tearing out and destroying everything, think of how it can be used in your future plans. A wash rack with drainage would be wonderful for dogs, horses, donkeys, or cattle.
Paul and Bethany, you likely hear it all the time how awesome you are, but you two really are AMAZING! Bravo!
I agree. I wish We had someone to help with our property. It is not this big but it got away from us when my father in law and mother in law got sick and passed. It took four years out of maintenance on our log cabin and flower beds.
Watching Paul and Bethanie clean behind the barn was therapeutic ❤
I agree!
I want them to clean my closets
Laura and Aaron - May I suggest a covered patio next to the tennis courts for parties, grandparents to “watch”, etc. I know my kids wanted us to participate all the time. A shady rest place would be helpful.
I am so glad those poles came down! Now it is looking more and more like a secret pond garden!
Laughed out loud when Laura shot the hoop and didn’t touch the rim at all, just swoosh!!! 👌👍👏💕💕💕
I am listening to your neighbors all clapping to get those monster lights down 👏🏻👏🏼👏🏽 should have been a ceremony!
Yeah wth were those people thinking putting those horrible things up? Some people have zero consideration for those around them.
The court and lights were there before the housing developments and before Laura and Aaron moved in. You can see that in their older videos. I wouldn't call the neighbors disrespectful.
I could watch these videos all day. Thanks for sharing.

Love this sort of video! I think we all sort of fantasize about tearing out some of the neighborhood "eyesores" and creating order and beauty.

What an amazing transformation Paul and Bethany did! Cleaning up is so satisfying. I want to say that thing at 6:45 mark looks like something you would use to screen homemade compost with but I could be wrong.
Yes compost or make sand
Good idea!
or clean gravel
Yes, I think that’s a soil sifter.
Make it an ice rink in winter…..or would that damage it?
You guys are such nice thoughtful neighbors, you are always thinking about how something you are planning to change will affect the neighbors around you.
YES to removing the lights behind the pond, bravo! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Love the idea of a fence covered in green! It will make a pretty background.
YAY!!! NO more poles!! That looks sooo much nicer!😊 Looks so much more tranquil and pleasant!!
The slanted wood structure is used to screen homemade compost.
That was FABULOUS, Laura! Hearing the plan and seeing the work being done is so invigorating. The transformation is amazing. What a WINNING team.
Lol. Love how you rescued those lopers from the man beast! That whole scene felt like someone cutting cardboard with my sewing scissors. keep having fun!

Nothing but net!!!! 😂😂😂😂
I am soooooooo glad you took those poles down! They have been bugging me for years now! 😂
I also think that having all that greenery growing on the new fence will probably soften any noise from the tennis or basketball court there.

Cute Douglas always gets his lounging act in there 😂 .. it’s lovely to hear you guys chat about your plans xx
The John Deere has come in handy. Good job guys!!
I’m so glad I was not the only one who thought those lights were an eyesore above the natural beauty of the pond!
Hi Laura and Aaron! Paul and Bethany did a great job cleaning up behind the barn! It was fun hearing your plans for the new property. Thank you so much for sharing!
Amen to those light poles gone! Elevates the pond area so much ! Such a good feeling whenever there’s major cleanup. Love these big projects! 🚜🩷
The wood frame with hardware cloth looks like a compost sifter. You'd shovel compost onto the mesh to remove larger chunks leaving fine compost for seed starting. Might be handy for that compost system Aaron is planning?
Wow… we get to come along and watch another exciting chapter ❤Lovin’ the new plans‼️

There’s nothing like a tidy up ❤
Wow-that clean up has got to feel good! Skating is a great idea for the cement area-the kids will have so much fun. Great Granny shot Laura!

Everything looks great! I love that little red barn so much. Yay for roller skates! So much fun!
There is character in that little red barn.
You all are amazing! Is there anything you can’t do? Paul is certainly a valuable asset!
Everyone needs a large concrete pad for basketball, tennis and roller skating!! What fun to be had for years and years with that space! 🛼🎾🏀
@ 6:46 - I think that is for screening rocks and debris from loam.
The transformation of your property has been an absolute pleasure to watch! Can’t wait to see what 2024 season has in store ❤
Great shot, Laura. Yeah! More planting & gardening, more room for Aaron's big trees. Can't wait to see the beginning. 😊😊😊❤❤
At the 6:44 mark you ask what that might be. That is a screening apparatus to sift out larger rocks from ground soil. My stepdad made one for me. We have lots of rocks here in Seattle. Works like a charm. Great to watch all the work being done on your new property!
Gahhh. I am so excited for this new space. So satisfying to watch the clean up and vision come to life!
Incredible teamwork to beautifully tackle and complete a lot of hard work! I love watching Paul and Bethany get it done.
I didn't think your property could get any better...until today. I love that you and Aaron are so family oriented. Benjamin and Sam are so blessed to have you for parents !! 💖💖💖💖
So, fun watching Paul saw and topple those lights. And yes, the view from the pond will be so much nicer.
Paul is a beast.👍
These types of videos are the best. So motivating! Thanks! 🙌🏼
Climbing roses on the black chain-link fence.👏👏👏👏❤

Wow!! I need myself a Paul and Bethany!! That tree coming out of the ground was so satisfying!!
So now you’ll use the garage as a garage! How exciting!
This was so satisfying to watch Paul and Bethany clean all that out!
So awesome to watch! I remember noticing them in past videos and assumed your home was next to a school or city park. What a difference! Y’all work so hard 💪❤️
Really impressed work the precision Aaron (and Paul) brought down those lights without hitting/chipping concrete! Well done!
Love that hunky Paul! ❤ Such a huge help on such a giant property.
Such a great idea utilizing the new barn to put all your planters etc in. Protection from the elements.
With those lights removed it makes such a great difference. ❤
good job Aaron and Paul, you boys worked hard
Bethany did a ton of work too!!!

Hey, hey……nothing but net Laura! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love you guys Paul and Bethany are amazing!!!❤😂 great video.
Well that was the most satisfying thing I’ve seen all year!
Great work as usual! Just a thought--there may not be enough, but have you considered donating the chain link fencing and fence posts to an animal shelter or rescue?
Awesome developments- as you created the pond area- there was never a worry about the visible basketball hoop. And now I know “ you had a plan!”
Keep some of the chain link fence to drag the fields where you turn out the horses in.
my favorite kind of day... a laundry list of log jams!
So much respect for Paul and Bethany such genuine hard workers they are truly a godsend 🙏
Having the right tools and equipment is everything.

Your entire community, both physical and virtual, breathed a sigh of relief!
Paul and Bethany are heaven-sent! Love to see you get things to how you in vision them
