I, as an ARMY, always had to apologise to other fandoms for the toxic ARMYs. I'm always so ashamed for what they are doing. Especially now that I'm also a EXO-L. I hate fandom war. It's so stupid and childish.

Exactly this. Kai, Jimin, and Taemin are all close friends (with a couple of others, too) since before debut. Taemin and Jimin did a collaboration stage where they danced together. The video is on TH-cam. There was a small amount of toxic comments insulting Taemin. People were trying to point out that they are part of a small group of best friends, but it didn't seem to get through. Because they are all best friends Jimin would be hurt by Army who said nasty things about Kai and Taemin, and so on. I don't understand what is so hard to get about this.

Tbh I feel like it's kinda difficult being part of a huge fandom. The larger the fandom is, the larger the proportion of toxic fans will be. This means more occasions of people saying "you belong to that fandom? Isn't that fandom like very toxic?" It's tiring having to tell them again and again that just bc some fans you meet are toxic doesn't make the entire fandom toxic too. I mean if it's a huge fandom, even if you meet like 100 of them and they all turn out to be toxic fans, that still is an extremely small portion of the fandom.

As a multistan, it's hard when the fandoms of two groups you like are in a fan war. It's hard to sit in the corner and watch it all unfold and I find myself getting really upset whenever it happens. Everyone should just be respectful and considerate to all artists.

I still remember when a girlgroup been bashed by certain Fandom for covering their fellow company girlgroup songs because this Fandom think that song is belong to their favorite group company just because they cover it at music shows... I still remember when the same Fandom attacking same girlgroup members for having same hair color with their favorite girls but doing 360 twist when their favorite doing the same thing, they even hyping their group as they are the first to do that hairstyle and color when other groups doing it first... I laugh when I see an article about new hairstyle trends by this group being hype by their Fandom because I already see that hairstyle many months before by others groups... The most embarrassing thing is those 2 groups members are good friends with each other but their Fandom still harass that other group...

My first encounter with toxic army’s was sad I remember commenting on a video on tik tok saying Bts seemed really kind and nice but after that replies came in asking me to join the fandom as I politely declined some came at me saying rude things and it kind of made me upset and to tell the truth I use to be an army a long time ago when I first got into kpop but I kind of fell out of being an army and didn’t really listen to Bts anymore so when I saw other rude Armys it just disappointed me I know it’s not all of them but it is a lot of them so I hope that everyone can just be nice to each other and stuff bringing up useless things and trying to cause trouble where it’s not needed :)

Honestly, these are a few reasons why I can't call myself an army . I listen to the boys and even love few of their songs but I don't want to be an army . I in my personal life deal with anx1ety and I don't want more stress . Still wish the boys success .

These toxic fans should realise they damage their idol's image and make them lose fans. But where are the artists themselves? Why do I only see/hear a select few call their fans to order? I respect them so much more and in reverse I lose respect for those who stand by and say nothing to their own fandom. Well behaved fandoms mostly start with the guidance of their idols. You can say it's not their job but sometimes lives are at stake, bullying can have lifelong consequences...
This is horrible. Fans should realize their place and that they do not control their idols. All of these instances were sad but the SuJu incidence was just indescribable. I can't imagine the amount of bullying that poor girl must have faced which lead to her killing herself. Her fault? Posting a picture with one of the members. Them apologizing after the incident makes me so angry. As an exo-l myself I know that even the Exo fandom has had their fair share of cases like the Chen situation or Taeyeon being severely harrased and it breaks my heart. I hope this changes in the future and fans start to understand their place.

One Kpop related fanwar that honestly got me annoyed with the fandoms was the one between Army and Nctzen I honestly lost all respect (which there wasn't even much left) for Army's after that and I did lose some respect for Nctzens and was disappointed in the way that was handled it. I also was an Army when I first started to get into K-pop but after some years I just couldn't be an army anymore and I am not saying this is for the whole fandom cuz I know they have some really nice people out there but there are lot of toxic fans in that fandom and it really has put a bad name on army's and I really and truly cannot stand all those toxic people anymore I find it very annoying that y'all think it is (I'm talking about those who are toxic) that it is fine to degrade and tell people to not exist anymore and all those kind of stuff when if it is was said to your idol or anybody in the fandom you will be doing what you would want to defend them as much as you can and it is really annoying that's you guys think that it is funny or it is nice to degrade people and this is for everybody who is toxic in a fandom your kind of just go out there and say stuff that shouldn't be said and on stupid reasons as well to idols and fans because in the end the things that you say to them will result in how they are going to treat your fandom anand in the long run as y'all might put it "your" idols they are not objects to own they are people just like fans are as well
These type of fans are the reason why non-kpopers think wrongly about k-popers. I've been a kpop fans since it still not as big as now and can you imagine how hard it is?! People keep thinking that all of kpop fans are overly obsessed. I even need to hide the fact that I like kpop and pretend to like some genre that I don't like so they won't attack me just because I love kpop. Thanks God that kpop became a great phenomenal now and people doesn't really care about it as they use to think or I don't think I can keep pretending anymore. What I don't understand is why artists don't come out more and condemn these "fans" actions? I like multiple groups but imagine how cool it would be if EVERY artist does this. Then real fans of these artist don't have to constantly defend their Fandom all the time. I know some artist do condemn it but in my opinion, not enough. Sone now ,I'm not in any Fandom, its too toxic and I found myself getting caught up in the negativity and thats not my true character. People get too comfortable with hiding with their anonymous identity on the internet saying whatever they want without care what they said might doin harm to other. And when their target come in to depression or even killin their self they wilk acted like they never did it always playing innocent.

I think because the companies promotes their idols with a potential boyfriend /girlfriend image these jealous fans thinks the idols belongs to them.. And can go to any lengths to stop their idols to interact with others.. The last one was really painful.. And threatening to blast a bomb... This gone too much far.. Do they even know how many people lost their lives in the bomb blasts?? Thats horrible.. Fans acting in a toxic way has caused me to leave the EXO-L fandom, while being called toxic afterwards. I have recieved death threats, am called an attention seeker, am called a fake fan, were told I am not allowed to be worried about my favorite idols et cetera. Being a fan isn't fun anymore
The thing about the ARMY fandom is it's literally the biggest one. I'm an ARMY but I'll never deny nor be in favor of the toxicity that immature fans do. Let's just be reminded that we can never describe an organization or any group of people as ALL BAD or ALL GOOD. AHH you should include next time if you do video something like that when army embarrassing themself about bts - lots of time when some artist(musician, actor, model etc) upload a video which include bts ( behind the scenes) and army jumping on it and attack the artist that he/she just using BTS for publicity , its happening monthly on twitter,facebook , youtube. As a non-army kpop fan i feel bad also cause of it , many ppl think all kpop fans like army : toxic , trying to make everything about their favorite and not respect other artists.

Even when I first got into k pop, I remember a post that some Exo-l were worried about army showing up to Exos concert to create a black ocean. Nothing like that ever happened, but as someone who was very new to k pop, it made me very concerned and even wary of armys I'm not trying to spread hate, this was my own experience.

I am a member of many Fandoms. I have a problem with not only those fans that do these horrific things but the idols as well. Why do they not say anything to stop the behavior? Let those particular fans know that they do not condone that type of behavior and that it is an embarrassment to them. If they are true fans they will listen to their idols and back off...you would think. But instead they sit back and say nothing 🙄. I think if the idols speak up many of these situations can be defused quickly.
it is pretty common for artists to have the same name but a different song, some versions are better than others. sometimes a whole song or concept is plagiarized but bullying the artist or band because they have the same song title is so stupid some Kpop fans are relentless

These toxic fans should realise they damage their idol's image and make them lose fans. But where are the artists themselves? Why do I only see/hear a select few call their fans to order? This is horrible. Fans should realize their place and that they do not control their idols. All of these instances were sad but the SuJu incidence was just indescribable. I can't imagine the amount of bullying that poor girl must have faced which lead to her killing herself. Her fault? Posting a picture with one of the members. Them apologizing after the incident makes me so angry. As an exo-l myself I know that even the Exo fandom has had their fair share of cases like the Chen situation or Taeyeon being severely harrased and it breaks my heart. ARMY is the biggest fandom so the no. of toxic ppl in the fandom is more , there are toxic people in every fandom . Personally I think BLINKS are most toxic cuz they have the most no. of solo stans but again the whole fandom isn't like that , their are many nice Blinks as well .

I honestly never realised just how toxic and annoying ARMYs were until I started stanning other groups. I know not all ARMYs are like this, but the fandom is soooo big that the toxic ARMYs are so much, and then they make all ARMYs look bad. well you have to look both sides. Mostly, other fandom provoke ARMYs and that's how fanwars outbreaks. And Blinks, Arinators or basically westerners Stan's, they all do the same thing. keep on harassing BTS and making stupid rumours about thrm.So it's not only ARMYs fault. All the fandoms have toxic people but unfortunately ARMYs are loudest one. And that sad thing is, majority of the ARMYs are kind but hardly get any appreciation as most people like to focus on the toxic side.
And one more thing, People treat us like the MAIN CHARACTER( constantly talking about us, hating us, admiring us) so at the end of the day, we just gotta go with the flow.

One Kpop related fanwar that honestly got me annoyed with the fandoms was the one between Army and Nctzen I honestly lost all respect (which there wasn't even much left) for Army's after that and I did lose some respect for Nctzens and was disappointed in the way that was handled it. I also was an Army when I first started to get into K-pop but after some years I just couldn't be an army anymore and I am not saying this is for the whole fandom cuz I know they have some really nice people out there but there are lot of toxic fans in that fandom and it really has put a bad name on army's and I really and truly cannot stand all those toxic people anymore I find it very annoying that y'all think it is (I'm talking about those who are toxic) that it is fine to degrade and tell people to not exist anymore and all those kind of stuff when if it is was said to your idol or anybody in the fandom you will be doing what you would want to defend them as much as you can and it is really annoying that's you guys think that it is funny or it is nice to degrade people and this is for everybody who is toxic in a fandom your kind of just go out there and say stuff that shouldn't be said and on stupid reasons as well to idols and fans because in the end the things that you say to them will result in how they are going to treat your fandom anand in the long run as y'all might put it "your" idols they are not objects to own they are people just like fans are as well
These type of fans are the reason why non-kpopers think wrongly about k-popers. I've been a kpop fans since it still not as big as now and can you imagine how hard it is?! People keep thinking that all of kpop fans are overly obsessed. I even need to hide the fact that I like kpop and pretend to like some genre that I don't like so they won't attack me just because I love kpop. Thanks God that kpop became a great phenomenal now and people doesn't really care about it as they use to think or I don't think I can keep pretending anymore.

What I don't understand is why artists don't come out more and condemn these "fans" actions? I like multiple groups but imagine how cool it would be if EVERY artist does this. Then real fans of these artist don't have to constantly defend their Fandom all the time. I know some artist do condemn it but in my opinion, not enough. Sone now ,I'm not in any Fandom, its too toxic and I found myself getting caught up in the negativity and thats not my true character. Artists don't need those kinds of "fans" and I can almost guarantee that they would have even more fans if they take a harder stance.

I think because the companies promotes their idols with a potential boyfriend /girlfriend image these jealous fans thinks the idols belongs to them.. And can go to any lengths to stop their idols to interact with others.. The last one was really painful.. Just because she took a photo with their faves and uploaded on internet they have the audacity to bully her to that point where she couldnt take it more and had to take her own life.. And threatening to blast a bomb... This gone too much far.. Do they even know how many people lost their lives in the bomb blasts?? Thats horrible.. I know they like their favourite group and wants to support them.. But everybody should know kpop is not life... Not just kpop any music industry specifically..i too like kpop..i have been listening to kpop from 3-4 years and have seen lot of fanwars.. Instead of doing fan wars if they start supporting each other it would have been wonderful.. Some fandoms may be big and some may be small but each idols have worked soo hard to get there.. Fans acting in a toxic way has caused me to leave the EXO-L fandom, while being called toxic afterwards. I have recieved death threats, am called an attention seeker, am called a fake fan, were told I am not allowed to be worried about my favorite idols et cetera. Being a fan isn't fun anymore
The thing about the ARMY fandom is it's literally the biggest one. I'm an ARMY but I'll never deny nor be in favor of the toxicity that immature fans do. Let's just be reminded that we can never describe an organization or any group of people as ALL BAD or ALL GOOD. It is so disappointing how toxic ARMYs make the loudest noise and gather most attention when there are ARMYs who replant forests, coral reefs, and even adopt whales.
AHH you should include next time if you do video something like that when army embarrassing themself about bts - lots of time when some artist(musician, actor, model etc) upload a video which include bts ( behind the scenes) and army jumping on it and attack the artist that he/she just using BTS for publicity , its happening monthly on twitter,facebook , youtube.

Not all gg fans have been peaceful, especially at the start. There were lots of fights between SNSD and 2NE1's fans, and also Wonder Girls fans were chanting "Wonder Girls" while giving SNSD a black ocean in 2008

I remember a post that some Exo-l were worried about army showing up to Exos concert to create a black ocean. Nothing like that ever happened, but as someone who was very new to k pop, it made me very concerned and even wary of armys

I am a member of many Fandoms. I have a problem with not only those fans that do these horrific things but the idols as well. Why do they not say anything to stop the behavior? Let those particular fans know that they do not condone that type of behavior and that it is an embarrassment to them. If they are true fans they will listen to their idols and back off...you would think. But instead they sit back and say nothing 🙄. I think if the idols speak up many of these situations can be defused quickly.
it is pretty common for artists to have the same name but a different song, some versions are better than others. sometimes a whole song or concept is plagiarized but bullying the artist or band because they have the same song title is so stupid
