Cube Entertainment Is In Some SERIOUS Trouble

Cube Entertainment is a medium size K-pop label that houses K-pop groups like G(I)-DLE, Lightsum, Nowadays, and Pentagon. They are the label that people think of when thinking of a label outside of the big K-pop companies like SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and Hybe Corporation. Cube Entertainment formerly housed groups such as 4 minutes, Beast (now known as highlight), BTOB, CLC, and Apink which came to dominate the second generation of K-pop. They also housed legendary K-pop soloists like Hyuna, Rain, and GNA. However, during the end of the second generation, Cube was losing all their popular artists and were in some serious trouble, So when GIDLE debuted a lot was riding on them. When Gidle achieve immense commercial success, it was seen as single-handedly saving cube. However, this came as a double edged sword as now cube grew too much to depend on Gidle. This is exacerbated by the fact that their new groups, Lightsum and Nowadays, failed to attain commercial success. So if Gidle leaves Cube, then Cube is in some serious danger of bankruptcy. Member Soyeon of Gidle came out and showed her discontent with the label by saying that her contact with the label is a list to conclude soon which signified that he might not resign with the company. And if Soyeon doesn’t resign then the other members, Yuqi, Minnie, Miyeon, and Shuhua also might not resign, especially after how they treated fromer Gidle member Soojin.
