62 days sober here, and I've been watching your videos and listening to your podcasts for the last 44. I can't tell you how much they have helped me. I've had an unhealthy relationship with alcohol for the last 28 years. I've carved out time at the beginning of December to work the below program and I can't wait to see how this journey of sobriety keeps unfolding. Thank you for your commitment, and continued help to those who struggle.
I'm sorry to say but your statement about connections is wrong and to say Loneliness will get you drunk has just nearly made me fail after 23 months sober. You want to keep comments like to yourself as they aren't helpful to a lot of people who find it difficult to make your so called connections in a town full of addicts!
This is my experience from over 22 years of working in addiction. Loneliness is your biggest enemy, find community online and in real life as it will make everything easier.
@VeronicaValliRecoveryRocks Not so simple as you make out. You gave up drinking at a young age, I have over 40 years of experience of alcoholism so who's more qualified to make such comments?
I agree with you Veronica. I've been asked numerous times why I drank. people often look for some type of event or something that happened to them. For me it was loneliness and feeling of belonging. So your message helped me and don't worry about these other idiots. Thank you!

I want to encourage you to keep going, sobriety takes effort but it's worth it.
This was SO helpful and at the RIGHT TIMING. God bless ❤
I love your videos. Thank you so much for all of your work.
I appreciate that.
What if you are an introvert and you prefer to be alone? How does the connection with others happen?
Do you drink caffeine? Coffee? I tried to stop and went right back, but I can feel it’s not so good
I had to quit coffee as it gave me anxiety, i do drink coke zero though.

@tonymusto7388 Don't call me an idiot
@tonymusto7388 No wonder you are lonely with attitudes like that
