I did allot of research on the Wild West in my college thesis, and I found that the louder and more legendary the outlaw, the less violent they really were, for them to build that legend it took a degree of sanity to keep it together

he was just a kid. left in the streets to fend for himself he couldn’t make it in jail so he escaped he didn’t wanna be an outlaw but he was. he tried to live an honest life but they took that from him. so he took things into his own hands he was only 21 when he died what a life.
The Billy the kid portion of the video is hard to follow, so many events happening in early, mid, and late 1870s all out of order. And what the hell they would throw 5-6 year olds in prison cells back then?
The jail in the 1800s was basically a couple of jail cells and a sheriff's office once they broke out all they had to do was search his desk for their stuff

If I remember correctly it was $10,000 from tobacco crop.

In the anime *Hunter x Hunter*, one of my favorite moments is when one of the main characters brings a shovel to a fight and says nothing. It is one of my favorite scenes for being cold and badass.

My schizophrenic grandpa used to say that we were related to a famous train robber (we as in my family) and he frequently repeated this through his early stages of schizophrenia and into when his health really started to decline. I didn't really think much of it because by the time I started noticing how often he'd spoke on it he was already pretty far gone. Until I brought it up to my parents one day. And my mom went "we are, but he wasnt" because my grandma was actually apart of the sam bass family tree. I grew up near a small cavern Sam Bass often used as a hideout. It was more of a notched fissure in the sandstone but was close to the Denton-Dallas Stage Coach Line (which is now under lake Grapevine) so it was an ideal raiding hideout, and it would have been an absolute pain to find back in the day.
