A true paradox of choice. Just the other day completed for the 1st time the original campaign and started Ashes. I've a horde of 20 something alts regrettably, because everything is fun.
@@parabolgravity I did the same thing, and now most of those 20 somethings are 100s because I kept finding cool gear that didn't apply to the classes I was finding it on. It always circles back around! :)
I'm afraid it won't get better. I play GD for like 7-8 years now, still make new builds every now and then. It helps a lot that if you know what you are doing you can get a lvl 100 in about 9-10 hours, which is basicalyl a weeken dose. I just finished my lazy "runebinder" but my brain cogs already grinding on what could i make of a full morgoneth setup, and probably in the meantime I will bring up a dual wielding storm rend if i get bored farming morgoneth with my dunefiend witch hunter. All this being said there is a complete mageslayer set a mythical ortus and nex and a valguur set to do something with them. The game has insane replayability for maniacs like me who just really want to try everything that is possible, and even some stuff that may seems impossible (the 100% dmg reduction build khm khm)
Started playing Grim Dawn for the first time this week, great timing on the guide :) Been a lot of fun but as someone who has never played an isometric loot based ARPG, all the numbers and stats are a bit overwhelming. Your vids have been great!
Its sad shit, when people quit D4 (tbh good looking game , graphic wise) and go to game from 2016. I mean , its not sad because we go back to Grim Dawn , its sad because Blizzard failed to make proper game ,something they had 10+ years to make and literally unlimited funds. Multiplayer game released in 2023 without group finder , general chat limited to 15 players , no endgame , complete rework every few patches ... and $$ shop for 100$ game.
@Finis.Terrae I don't disagree, even though I had a really good time for the most part with D4, it just didn't have that staying power. Then again I also couldn't get into PoE so maybe it's the seasonal model. GD definitely feels like it's had the perfect amount of time to cook between updates, and each update built more on rather than tearing more down. Good analysis! :)

@@bobbit_the_hobbit nice! It's a great place to start and always gets easier the more you play. :)
