I had a fingernail completely ripped out when I was a kid. It took over a year to fully grow back, and it looks slightly different, even now in my 40s. I'll never forget the blinding pain, or the smell as it healed slowly.
19:55 Usually the nail grows back. My father once got his finger caught in an elevator door, & pulled the nail off getting himself unstuck. It grew back in about 6 months(-ish)
@@funnylilgalreacts If it's any consolation: When I watched that scene with Lloyd & Fitzroy - and watching it again during your reaction - my hands were twitching really badly 😫😁
I enjoyed not liking the character Chris Evans played here. He's also one of the few actors to nail the tone the movie was going for. I feel like there's some overlap with Kevin Kline's 'Otto' in A Fish Called Wanda, particularly in the humor and physicality. Thanks for a great review as ever!
I watched this movie a few weeks ago. And I thought it was absolutely awesome. Ryan Gosling plays such a good badass. He's not the same actor as he was from The Notebook. He has come a long way. Seems like Canada's breeding some top notch actors lately
The Gray Man was a fun watch on Netflix. It had elements of The Bourne Identity, John Wick, and 007 rolled into one. Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, and Chris Evans were great in it.
@@funnylilgalreacts All the John Wicks are very good, though imo the third is actually the weakest, but still has some of the best action. The 4th looks like it's gonna be a blast too.
I like this movie, it's was a good action flick. Chris Evans was awesome as a villain. Ryan and Ana was great in their roles. I'm happy we getting a sequel.
When I first watched this movie, partway through I texted my cousin to recommend it to him. My minimal-spoiler synopsis included a description of Chris Evans’s character as an “aggressively flippant sociopath.”
Interestingly enough...this isn't the first time Chris played a ASSASSIN)/HITMAN.... he had a supporting role playing a darker grittier hitman in THE ICEMAN...based on the real Life events, you should also check him out in PUNCTURE...one of his other past DARKER roles... TAKE CARE.
Great reaction. I really liked this movie. Chris Evans was awesome as the villain. The action scenes were so good, my favorite one was when he was handcrafted to the bench and on the train. Also the knife fights were pretty bad ass.
After taking care of himself and trying to stay alive for years he would know what would be happening if they had hit his liver or kidney. He is the gray man or ghost and he knows what to do.
Enjoyed the movie. Great chemistry between Chris Evans & Ryan Gosling. Ana was great in this as well. Chris Evans was hilarious in some scenes. Some of the drone shots were unnecessary. I hope we get a sequel.
Honestly, the only disappointment for me in this movie is not using Jessica Henwick in fight scenes. Jessica as Collen Wing was the best part of the Iron Fist show. She can kick ass. In the last James Bond movie, Ana kicked ass too. She can hold her own in action movies. Finally, yep this was a big enough a success to spawn a sequel. I am looking forward to it. I love stupidly fun action flicks. Love your Instagram.
Why not react to some of other Ryan Gosling big movie? Drive, Blade Runner 2049, The Nice Guys etc.. I highly recommend them (if you havent watch them of course... I prefer authenticity )
Ryan Gosling really showed he can play the dark hero in the movie Drive, if you haven't seen that. He was fantastic in this. I like that Ana De Armas and Ryan had this flirty banter without the need to show romance. Ana did do a lot of action to. In interview she states the amount of training she had to go through. I loved seeing Ana in action role. The big premise is the turnabout is it was just simply man going for revenge, but that he protected and fell in love with the little girl he protected. Having her play the music is just a loving father trying to limit the trauma to her while he killed people to save her. To me this movie was beautiful and hats off to the entire cast.
I kind of expected more from this with Chris Evans and the Russo brothers, but gosling was *so* unenthusiastic it made the whole movie boring. Evans was obviously having fun playing the bad guy, and good for him he clearly wants to move away from the cap role, but if they're intending to make a franchise out of this (like apparently they're doing)I'd prefer they do it around ana de armas, not gosling. Basically though all Netflix's attempts at action blockbusters, six underground, red notice, there's a couple of others who obviously left such an impact on me that I've forgotten their names, all suffer from the same thing in that Netflix spends a ton of money on big names, but don't bother with a good script.

Switch places? If you read the novel, it would be obvious that Ryan Gosling was the perfect Gray Man (Chris Evans turned down the part to play the bad guy). Of course, this movie was directed and scripted so poorly, it's no wonder it's been panned. Too bad, because the cast did some really good work, but because of the overblown CGI and explosion festival, they got a little lost. Sigh, what a waste of a great novel...
You are saying that as if The Gray Man is a unique character that has so much depth that he can't be played by other actors, here's a fact: The character is bland with dry to a point where I could see just about any actor in the role provided that they have the looks as well.
@@darn4285 No doubt anyone reading the Gray Man series will see things differently than me (or not). We'll just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

Ransom is a villain. Don't forget he tried to set up Ana's character for murder by switching the vial contents.
