just a side note, i still watch this all the time and as i’m entering my senior year of highschool i’m gonna be playing molly on the shore as 1st clarinet and i couldn’t be happier
There are 3 and a solo part. But the three parts each have some divisis somewhere. You can find the parts for the piece for free on IMSLP! That's how I made this.
@@jophusandrew1994 can you provide the link please? My friends and I are in desperate need of a quintet to play for a performance but all we find are quartets and octets with a freaking alto clarinet and contrabass its really annoying
If you don't mind sharing your secrets, how do you keep yourself in tempo with your other recordings? Do you use a visual metronome or do you listen to your previous recordings?
As a player of both I can confirm that it depends on the song's playability for the instrument and the band's ability. Grainger's songs sound amazing on clarinet but at the same time there are a lot of other compositions that sound way better on sax.
Hey! Jesus loves you! He died for your sins on the cross and rose again 3 days later! All you need to do to accept Gods gift is believe in him and what he did, And you need to repent(turn from sin and follow Jesus) and ask him for forgiveness in prayer. And remember that Jesus is God! He is three in one, the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit! Have a good day!:)
*Please stand for the clarinet national anthem*
SALUTE
Nice job
@@jophusandrew1994 what kind of e flat clarinet do you use i was planning on getting one
will be playing the Eb part in a university ensemble this quarter. feeling excited and also kinda worried
Percy Grainger is such an amazing composer.
eb clarinet just vibing
His tone is amazing 🤩
The clarinet was made for this song. It’s my “today is going to be a good day” song.
This is way too good for human eyes.
I was trying to do an assignment for school and I ended up here, I’m not upset tho.
Had to listen to a clarinet ensemble for school... I picked this just because the TA hattess Percy Granger. Thank you for doing this.
With all due respect your TA sounds lame
Puts a smile on my face every time! Bravo!
That was so great! Beautiful performance and video.
Thank you!
Gotta love that bass clarinet tone!
I'm going to show this to my middle school woodwind club today. Please do more of these!!!
Ah the nostalgia
These clarinets sing man 💪 love the work
Really nice work! Wow! Keep it up!
I AM YOUR 300TH SUBSCRIBER BTW

Awesome!
Really fine playing.
Really nicely played, and great video. I'm trying to make my own but will not be able to match this.

Excellent!
Very nice!
the only recording on YT to actually do the Eb part in the written octave 🙏
Epic? Nah. Legendary? YES!
THIS IS A BOP
Amazing
Well done, Joseph!
Nice mixing btw
Great job!
So wonderfully (hopefully genuinely) in tune that sometimes you can hear the overtones so clearly it sounds like a piccolo (flute) on top!
WOW
Lol @ Eb guy!! Bravissimo!!
comic and nice ensemble sound is good!
SWEET
No Alto Clarinet?
Are there four B-flat clarinet parts ? This piece sounds fun wish I had a chance to play it back in my hs and college days.
Ephraim, I believe there are the 3 usual parts, but then there is a separate part for the solo clarinet.

there actually is a fourth
I’m playing Eb this year for molly on the shore. Pray for me lol
You must have an alto clarinet to be classified as a true clarinet nerd.
That's me! I have the melody at the beginning with 1st clarinet. It's easy to hate it at first, but it starts to grow on you
@@JoshuaTheClarinetGuy I should let you know I'm a trumpet nerd, how much a nerd? I have a four valve Eb trumpet
Thank you for teaching me It’s Evan Martinez
Is there any way this arrangement could be linked?
Hi! It's actually not an arrangement at all. These are all clarinet parts from the original score, which can be found on IMSLP.

tone is so clean and dark
its so in tune
Yessss
Now do Children's March!
If you don't mind sharing your secrets, how do you keep yourself in tempo with your other recordings? Do you use a visual metronome or do you listen to your previous recordings?
I use a click track in headphones while I record. As I build the track and add more layers, I use the metronome and the previous tracks for tempo.
I Like How The Eefer Just Teleported Out Of Nowhere 😂😂
As a sax player, honestly clarinet ensemble > sax ensemble
As a clarinet player, I disagree but I appreciate the love!
As a player of sax and clarinet they both are good in their own way

As a brass player and guitarist, I feel the clairnets are horribly underrated!
who else is here from asl? distance learning haha its Michael btw
Is this your own arrangement?
Nope! I just read the clarinet parts straight off the score I got off IMSLP!
Ganggang
Squidward would be proud 🥲
Y'all sleeping on the lily solo the Bass has at the start
i found YOU
Currently here to write a description for online class for band
Is this not the same guy over and over again
