Some (if not most) of the Note 7s exploded at room temperature, so heating it so much that it gets a temperature warning and till it's hot to the touch isn't the best way to find why the phones are exploding. It's almost as if you deliberately wanted the phone to explode for all the wrong reasons, related to the story behind the phone.

Funny story. Two years ago, I was dumb enough to put my galaxy s5 in the microwave just so I can see ice melt for myself. It didn't explode, but it was just smoking so much I had to quickly put it in the sink. Not one of my best ideas.

Why does everyone hate TechRax so much?
I just wanted to start off by saying after doing some research I found that when samsung came out and said the phones battery was faulty they also said it affected only 0.01percent of the note 7. Secondly that is the second gen note 2 with the green battery meter. Not sure how much of a difference the first and second generation made though. But the gen 1 was definitely more prone to battery failure. The way to tell if you have gen 1 or gen 2 is the gen 2 has a little black square on the label of the box it comes in and a green battery meter.

Here is the thing: cheapo chargers sometimes have a crappy PCB design, where the high voltage side and low voltage side are not properly spaced. This means that if your grid power jumps a bit over that 220 _(110 in US)_ volt, there is a chance that a spark will brigde the gap from the low voltage to the high voltage side, and that will let 220 _(or 110)_ volts rush through your USB cable.
Not all cheapo chargers do that, the pourly designed chargers are different from time to time, meaning that if you buy 2 of the exact same chargers one will spark 220 volts, and the other wont.

It is a bit confusing if you're not into electronics, I wanted to keep it relatively short.
Anyways, here is a more thorough explanation:
Let's assume you life in Asia or Europe and you have 220 volt grid.
The charger has 220 volt input (grid power) and 5 volt output (USB), right?
Inside your charger there is a _"switch mode power suppply"_ or _"buck converter"_ which is basically a transformer with higher efficiency. The low voltage side of that 'transformer' is quite safe, nothing special will happen there, I mean there is only 5 volts going though it. On the high voltage side the wires and or paths on the PCB need to be shielded, because high voltage can make sparks(unlike low voltage). So the high voltage side of your charger should have thick isolation between the wires so it won't short out itself. If there are unshielded parts, then they should be separated apart by a good distance, so that the spark can't reach the other wire. Basically, the low voltage wires that carry 5 volts shouldn't be close to the high voltage parts without good insulation between them.
Apart from this, there can be something like a fuse or other protection mechanisms to prevent it from frying your smartphone.
^^At least, that's how good chargers are made _(there are some more details like this, I'm simplifying here)._ If the charger is just a bunch of parts literally crammed into the box, there is a chance when the humidity is a bit higher then you will have 220 volts going through your USB port, I don't have to explain what will happen once you do that.
The YT channels "Mike's electric stuff" and "EEVblog" have some videos on Chinese fake- apple chargers.
Not all Chinese chargers are crap though, Xiaomi, Oneplus or the other popular brands will definitely have great chargers.

Mangocraft i actually got triggered by this the phone wont explode cuase the high heat temerature will no let the phone charge and the phone can only explode if its left charging longer than needed (when phone is at 100% but left still charging). charging longer than needed heats up the battery inside the phone and some note7s battery cannot withstand the heat and so it creates fire and burns the phone from the inside out
