And even then it took a existential threat to the entire northern arm of the Imperium. Thats not even taking the Khrave and the normal compliance actions into account. Had the Rangda xenocides never happened then there was no force in the Loyalist or Traitor ranks that could come even close to matching the 1st and its sire in numbers or battlefield accumen.

There is one called ur-025 who wonders around the 7th black stone fortress and dislikes the imperium.
If they came back in the number's of the dark age of tech, they would smash the imperium. daot humanity was waaaaaaay over the imperium.
@@bobboberson6664 yeah i did a bunch of research into them after this video and the way they are spoken about made me thing they were individually mega powerful but that does not seem the case
As always, amazing video buddy! 🫡
Legend! Thanks mate
The Lion was clearly The Emperor's second favourite after Horus
All i saw from the title was The Lion Unleashes MEN
Also true in a way
wow never heard of this one
It's not a story often told
He also gave Lion El'Jonson the coolest name of all the Primarchs.
If the Lion is so trusted, why not appoint him Warmaster? Could have saved a lot of trouble.
He didn't have the interpersonal skills to make sure his brothers obeyed him. While the Emperor completely trusted the Lion and the Lion was a very gifted general, many of the primarchs did not like him, so it would be hard for him to make sure they followed him. In contrast, the Emperor also trusted Horus before he was corrupted, Horus was also a very gifted general, he was a skilled diplomat, and he commanded the respect and admiration of many of the primarchs.
The Lion was arguably the best of them he was also huge ass who grated a lot of people the wrong way whereas everyone pretty much respected and got along with Horus even the crazier ones like Cruze and Angron, I think only Corax disliked him.
your telling me that the exindio class automata is capable of killing the lion himself?!?!?! ok... i actually have new found respect on mankind's dark age of technology, i really want to know what it was like in the dark age of technology
And just think the Excindio were lesser Men of Iron.
@@seiboldtadelbertsmiter3735 lesser men of iron? and they needed the emperor himself to enslave them? dude thats kinda terrifying if you put into perspective just how powerful and smart he is, and just how powerful these things are
@@onisatsugaisha689
I'd say there was a lack of sufficient lighting. Thus the Dark part.
@@onisatsugaisha689 ANd yet we won that war so... Mabey don't think that much of em?
I sure hope Trazyn pokeballs out a few hundred men of iron someday to really make things interesting
(And a krork while he's at it but that's a different wish) :)
Men of iron. The escanor's of mechanicum in 40K
Lion truly the only Primarch trustworthy of the Emperor’s dankest tech 😅
Theres that scene where Malcador and the Emperor are playing a game of fates and malcador questions if the Lion is a traitor or a loyalist. the Emperor looks at him shocked like is that even a question a person can have? I think thats how much trust the Emperor has in the Lion.
@@marsmech But surely the same could have been said for Horus before he fell wasn't he the favorite.
Dark Angels are hands down the most powerful Legion and best in military victories as stated by lore. Love the Legion, the Chapter has a cool theme but i much prefer the Legion to current 40K Dark Angels.
I love me some dark angels
Aren't the Dark Angels kinda still a Legion. I think I remember reading they secretly run all the chapters descending from them.
@@markstewardson4006 they all report to Azrael of he asks and I'm sure no one will dare defy the Lion
@markstewardson4006 each chapter does their own missions until they are needed by the Dark Angels and then if Azriel gives them a mission they do it. They do form to Legion strength during the Arks of Omen stories. So they are still somewhat like a Legion at times but most of the time they run as chapters.
@@eichler721 Thanks for the clarification not read through the Ark of Omen stories yet are they worth checking out
The Lion's safe word on the men of iron....was "booty sweat.
Dude I love the way you say helicopters. You Brits have the best voices, epic for anything. Not making fun either, I really mean it
It took an alliance of the ENTIRE GALAXY to stop super Skynet from taking over
Flipping the on switch on those things has to be a bit terrifying every time
I picture the scene from the Sly version of Judge Dredd with the Hmmerstein ABC Warrior. We are going to war!
WAAARRRR
Lion gets all the good toys!...actually I am kinda busy with my own thing to watch a bunch of Insane robots...so good move?
Your content is 🔥.
This was ace !
The emporium really lucked out that the traitor dark angels never unleashed them against their loyalists counterparts that shit would've been devastating.
Very good. Thank you
Dudes got that last action hero trailer voice
🎶If not from true existence,
A total eclipse of the Sun.🎶
9:50
Name of music 30 seconds in...it played a second time later in video. Like 15min mark
Usual 40k "it broke and we just left it there lmao" mindset, they could have recovered the broken robots and probably put a few back together.
If what we know about the emperor can be taken as truth and he returns and finds the imperium in the state it's in he is going to be pissed .... All this superstition and decay ... It'd be like spending your entire life building your dream home just to come home on the second day and find it was burned down .
Keep the good content coming!
Does that mean that he got the Lion's share? 😊
Nice 😂 wish I'd thought of that...
Ohhh makes sense lion was revived with the nid threat
And yet the Kin/Squats of the Leagues of Votann are still buddies with their men of iron…all because they treated them with dignity and as family and not as tools
The 1st legion was allways ment to be the ultimate sanction.
Before the Rangdan Xenocides they were bigger then the Ultramarines who closed the gap considerably by accepting legionaries from the damned 2nd and 11th legion.
Damn you have a smooth voice boi.
god damn humas where that powerfull riviling necrons bruh
So....I guess I gotta paint up some Dark Angels now? OKay
Yes... Brother!
@@SandmanofTerra I have blood Angels and 30k Imperial Fists. So it's only fair....and they have a Primarch
you should be narrating books or documentaries
That's very kind!

one is a hammer the other is a nuke
Will the Mechanicus and if they're okay with it. Work with the Men of Iron?
Absolutely No !!!!!
If they tried they'd be attacked by the astartes, the dark angels had these robots specifically to prevent the mechanicum from being a threat to terra.
Anyone know if any of this lore is in the GW books? I would love to read about this in further detail.
The names of the books appears on the screen as I talk about them
@@SandmanofTerra apparently I am not very observant……. Thanks!
to be fair lion himself is not so different from the MEN OF IRON!!! killing machine with no emotion just pure logic!!
what is that epic music in the backround

Luetin once pointed out that the Imperium is full of lies, remember the Tech-Priest Aldebrac Vingh?
So the first son got the...Lion's share? 😅, ok I'll go.
Damn I wish I'd thought of that joke 😂
But is he in Zion?
Is this new lore? Ive not read anything about this yet! Which books should one get to read about this stuff?
It's not that new, just under explored. The relevant books appear on the screen as I talk about them

What exactly do they look like?
