Hi Ellen! Another lovely piece of art. I love cherry blossoms! They smell so sweet and are a beautiful pink. I wish I could afford the paint though. My budget cannot afford $32 dollars or more a tube. I can't work because of serious health problems so I have to use Arteza watercolours until a time comes where I can afford Holbein watercolours. I live on a very modest pension from the Provincal government of Canada. Most people in Canada who are disabled, like me, live in long term poverty, and can barely afford rent and food. I have friends on Twitter who are like me, and we are trying to get the government of Canada to eradicate poverty so that we can live like human beings and not go hungry and homeless. It's tough for me to be able to afford art materials so I can make art. Thanks Ellen for another great one!

I know you did this video a long time ago, but I had a go for the first time today in a small (2.36" square) notebook which I am painting as a thank you present for my sister. I am blind in one eye and partially sighted in the other. My hands are incredibly deformed but at least I tried. More importantly though, I thoroughly enjoyed doing it. X
My favorite tree is the redbud. I feel happy watching this so I’ve watched it more than once. When I was real young I did a redbud branch with that perfect crayola color for the blossoms and smeared each blossom with my pencil eraser. Mother loved it so much she mailed it to her grandmother. An artist was born that day! 🎉
I love mini mondays!! So pleased with my results with this one. Mine looks a tad too autumnal but I LOVE that yellow wash tip, to brighten up the ground!
The mini projects turned out so great!! The shadows in the landscape mini really make the painting pop!! You make it look so easy!! I will give these a try some day. Thank you for you wonderful tutorial!!

@@cj_kirby I have a Blick’s about 20-30 mins away from home and they carry Holbein but not the 5ml tubes it’s their 15 ml are a few other colors that I want.
There is a tutorial on tearing paper to get those nice rough edges on cheap Joe’s. Basically you fold the paper, then wet that edge, keep folding it back-and-forth and then tear.
I had a second go at this where I was a lot more relaxed, and it is so much better. I added some rock salt to the path to give it more of an interesting pathy texture.
