There is no reason it can’t be a speedrun being to the end is arbitrary people can decide wherever they want, this is a good spot since everybody can get the idea of where to go and there is no more progression so it is an easy spot to pinpoint
Your probably already compensating for this somehow and I'm not aware, but I figured I'd through this out there anyway in case your looking to shave seconds off your time. Doesn't the Gloo Cannon reduce your movement speed while holding? You could put it away here and there for a small boost I think.
Is it still possible to do this, or did they "fix" anything with a Patch, so you can't run through like this anymore? And are you able to unlock achievements with this method (like completing the game without the abilities or killing humans)?
I thought fidget spinning was a dumb trend, but then I got mine. I felt the spin, I felt it on my finger, I felt the rush of a good spin. It changed me. I got my spinner ironically, but I was wrong. Its amazing, I'm smarter, more productive, more focused at work, a simple task is now much ass better. Outsiders dont get it, they dont get us. I'm not saying were better but were more open minded and probably smarter. I love this community, and I love this way

That makes sense I guess, since initially the general access keycard isn't there either. It's definitely strange that the EP101 keycard is there though, given that it's in the completely wrong area. Nice run btw!
You do know that speedruns aren't always to actually beat the full game, right? It's get the objective as soon as possible. In this case, leave the station. That's the catagory.
I hope, that youve also played the game legitimately at least once or twice before playing it like this. Doesn't it cheapen the experience in a way? just my opinion.

this only worked for the v.1.0. arkane patched tons of what y(o)u see here also, you cannot end the game using this method. when you escape via alex' capsule, you get a little video, but then the game kills you and reloads the last save point.

Arkane fixed some of GLOO gun's clipping issues used by speedrunners, yet it didn't help much.
No Typhon was harmed during making of this.

there was notihg like that used in this run xD they used the mechanics in the game to glitch through the walls.
