@@Giovanni6501 I think he has adhd? Im not sure tho. My mind tends to shut off if im overwhelmed by information. Luckily, i was fine for this game, but I recognize the feeling of being overwhelmed by all the things in the game and no specific linear path, especially since he missed the maps.
I actually didn't know that, is that to do with it being holy dmg? Also I think a big part is that he's streaming. He's basically being rushed and told where to go constantly so it kinda ruins it for him. Ngl I was sorta rushing through my first 30 hours but now I'm more interested in the lore (because it's freakin amazing).
To be fair I was wrong about the skill on the halberd, it just increases attack 12% and defense 8%. There are 2 buffs that prevent undead revival, Order's Blade and Sacred Order. Sacred Order also doubles damage to undead. I thought Golden Vow did too but no. Miquellan Knight's sword prevents revival while it still glows after using it's unique weapon art too. Hitting undead again on the ground works in every FromSoft game though.
So as per the “artificial difficulty” of the ruins 1/3 way into the video… it may seem on the surface “oh it’s just artificial difficulty because there are two”… but I think what the actual purpose was, is to show you the power of perfumes as they JUST gave you perfume bottles and the cookbook for some… so players like Asmon here who go, “perfume cookbook fuck that” might actually stop for a second and wonder if the items they just found can be strong(like how that perfumer is buffing the Misbegotten warrior in that battle. “Hey maybe I could use that how they just used that, and I just found it all as well… hmmmm”
If you fight them for a minute its hard NOT to learn because as you swing at one whos still alive you hit the ones on the ground. Its pretty clever design completely lost on him

They way Asmon plays games is the definition of 'self harm'. He claims that he "just can't learn very fast" but it's an undeniable fact that he doesn't even try. Before he started turning to help, his first big game was BOTW and he played it in a really bizarre and impulsive way, among other things selling off rare items and armors when he needed a couple of bucks, quitting on important tasks he deemed "too much work" and not learning any useful recipes and instead eating dubious food all the time. Asmon should just consult guides every now and then if the information overload in this type of game is too challenging for him.

@Acidic Zerrot Exactly. I actually didn't know that, is that to do with it being holy dmg? Also I think a big part is that he's streaming.
