I inspected a 3/99 R34 GTR for client trying to sell

In this video I wanted to give my client who is looking to sell his car an in-depth look for people interested. Everything is laid bare with potential issues that the car is dealing with. My client was in touch with Garage Yoshida about fixing the strut towers and our paint and body shop about fixing the body so I am aware of the costs to restore this car while in Japan waiting for the next few months until its US legal. Parts can be sourced as well for anyone that can do the work themselves or have a different means to make it happen. This car will be about the best priced GTR you will find on the market from here on out as the stock in Japan dwindles.
This car is a March of 99 base grade with 144k kms. Albeit priced lower on the market, check the video carefully to know exactly what you can and cannot do to get the car to where you would want it.

If that’s a base Gtr then it’s not really missing the front diffuser/lip as you mentioned. Came standard on vspec but not base. The side and rear extensions are probably from Yahoo Auctions (reps)

I knew the lower spats and side were. But I’ve personally never seen even a base model without the front lip. Looks a little silly without it haha

With the side extensions the front does look silly without the front diffuser/lip. But yeah bases dont get the those, my base r34 gtr didn’t have it and it is mostly all oem. Most have them because not long ago they were cheap $500 or below compared to now at almost $1,000 not including shipping if going overseas.

All of those imperfections make this R34 GT-R more desirable for me.
