1:42 shows how Syu is perfectly able to put speed in a slow and emotional song and making it very sexy ! true master, he can use speed but just use it when necessary, not like 80% of shredders just making technical demos
Syu took a page out of Yngwie's book but one-upped him and created a longer arrangement of Albinoni's "Adagio in G minor" and even wrote a new section on top of it (the tapping section). Though the piece was mostly composed by Remo Giazotto, it's wrongly credited to Albinoni, since Giazotto completed it from a manuscript fragment and concluded it was part of a church sonata written by Albinoni. So here we have a Japanese guitar legend (inspired by a Swedish guitar legend) creating and completing an arrangement of a piece that was wrongly attributed to a 18th century Baroque composer but was written by a musicologist in the 20th century. What the hell.
Llevo años escuchando esta interpretación, nada más hoy me di cuenta que fue una interpretación del Adagio en sol menor de Tomaso Albinoni. Como ya leyeron, me ha acompañado en momentos buenos y malos, simplemente es Syu el idílico
Remo Giazotto supposedly wrote it, not Albinoni. Giazotto was a musicologist that worked (among other things) on the Albinoni's catalogue. He published it as a "reconstructed piece" from Albinoni's fragments he found in a bibliotheque somewhere in germany. However no Albinoni fragment has ever been found, so it was probably a backstory to increase the notoriety of the composition. Still good music :)
Anyone else here from Lorenzo Lucidi's Final Goku Black tribute? I mean, don't get me wrong, I can appreciate great music and heard about this song way before he used it in his video, but I didn't know about this amazing cover.
@@sondreklavenes5754 Actually the song is called "Tomaso Albinoni - Adagio" because there are many other clssical songs called Adagio. In classical music they just put the key to the end of name of the song and it actually doesn't belong to the title of the song. So the original Albinoni's Adagio has "in G minor" in the end just because that was played in that key.

Xeno Your words means nothing, but Malmesteen is great too. The fact that there'd be no Syu without Malmesteen doesn't necessarily means that Syu isn't better then him. Just opinions.
That’s the most emotional tapping I’ve ever heard
イングヴェイへのリスペクトが伝わります。。さすがsyuさん

Fabio Sabatini This is a malmsteen cover. He's playing it just like malmsteen
Wait, he?
@@Hunter-xv7kz Except he isn't, and this is completely different to Malmsteen's cover... Because yes, Yngwie covered this himself, he didn't write it.

Whenever people criticize shredders for not playing with emotion or feeling, this is generally where I refer them to.
Simplemente FANTASTICO!!!
Syu is GOD. That's why I admire him as my top favorite rock guitarist.
Fast & Feelings : SYU Only ...Wonderful
seahorsegold6 yeah hidup syu🤘

I like how its smoother and with less flourish than Yngwie. Yngwie is still my favorite though.
