Running one Spiral Grip and Wave is better as you can search the one u need pretty easily and you can equip them from the grave so you dont rly need multiple copies Phantasm Spiral Wave is better if theres something that cant be destroyed with 3400 atk. Just equip Wave, crash the monster, it doesnt get destroyed cause of Spiral protection and at the end of the Battle phase you get to summon a Dragon from deck (plus possible search value from pacifis) + enemy discards one card which rly hurts trying to play trough multiple negates. This deck seems very meh if you don’t get an amazing hand. It doesn’t have much going for it if you don’t have the field spell or a way to get the field spell on your first turn
This deck can have some disappointing losses. Every so often you will have an opponent who actually has good reading comprehension and just normal summons when you didn’t draw into a smasher and keeps attacking you without activating a single card (therefore your field spell will never activate). You also just insta lose if your opponent uses Harpies Feather Duster or Lighting Storm and you had no protection.
I played against this deck just one time, just so happened I was running my legendary fisherman deck at the time, literally used their "umi" against them, it's nice to see what it was supposed to do
Champions Vigilance can only replace Fist of the Unrivaled Tenyi, otherwise you lose the ability to protect your backrow before you have a face up monster on the field. This is extremely relevant when going first because it isn’t that likely to draw into melalosmasher X.
Banish the token early so you can protect your field spell and sea stealth, and then your pacifis will let you summon a token and get another search. Let's you build more advantage. Once sea stealth is on the field and active, your spell is basically immune to everything but like IO or knightmare unicorn (as commonly played cards).
Can this deck beat monsters that can't be destroyed and are unaffected by card effects? I don't see how it can. The trap cards won't work. Any suggestions on decks to beat these type of monsters would be helpful.
Avram and World Legacy's Memory are also good replacement if you want to make everything N or R for some reason. It does have drawback that the card return to hand (so use it on opponent's turn) and no synergy with Sea Stealth. Unrelated, but I like Vishuda a lot. It's one card normal monster + free bounce. I swear my opp always forget I had him rotting in GY.
@@UglyStru You don't care about special summon. Most of the time you will draw a second copy of UD and it will dead cuz you already have a token or Megalomasher. insane how this went under the money hungry Master Duel radar. They would have made the field spell an ultra rare if they knew it was competitive in MD.
I can't make it work, but I'm not mad. I had the URs for other decks, and the stuff I had to craft was dirt cheap. Even though it's not a super good deck, it was still worth the points spent for the entertainment. I'm gonna subscribe and scour your channel for more budget decks.
The deck is more about the one field spell than draw power. So searching 6 cards and taking the one field spell or field searcher might be more important than drawing 2 cards. But it's not like extravagance is bad and with a little luck it would be more lucrative.
ive played this deck since maximum crisis released exclusively (aside from predaps). Im not the biggest fan of heat wave in this deck in best of ones. Its a dead card going second, and it clashes with extravagance for beginning of main phase 1 priority. unless you seem to be facing a lot of going second decks like dinos, trains, cydrags, madolche, gren maju, mekk knight, or other otk style decks its usually more of a sideboard card for best of 3s when you lose game 1 or 2 and know youre going first next game.
Wanted to try this deck out, but managed to brick 4 out of the 5 times I played. Is there any way to make this more consistent? Even if it costs more material, I think it'd be worth it because it seems like a fun deck.
Paleozoics are a good option. They're decent traps that can summon themselves from GY as water normal monsters when another trap is played, encouraging you to play even more paleozoics. They'll be slow (as slow as any deck relying on set cards on the field) and a bit situational (as situational as an MST or a book of moon tbf) but should be fully supported by the deck when they're monsters. Most are cheap to build so they're a great start I think. You *could* try running some tenyi cards. They're extra protection for your normal monsters with effects in hand or GY to boost a normal's atk, revive, etc. They can also special summon themselves if you control no effect monsters so they're not helpless on their own and are great material for the extra deck. They're extra deck monsters even let you extend the amount of tenyi you can special summon from hand if need be, and their search card doubles as a lvl 1 tuner. The problem is they don't synergize with the other support cards. It'd be more like putting two normal monster supports archetypes into one deck and hoping you open with one or the other, not both, but I love the tenyi cards so I wanted to bring it up. Fist of the unrivaled tenyi is already in this deck even. Speaking of, someone else mentioned this already in another comment but put Blue eyes ultimate dragon in your extra deck, if fist gets destroyed by your opponent when face down you get to special summon him with no other cost and 4500 atk is nothing to scoff at. Lastly, you could always try playing more water normal monsters in the deck and seeing if that helps. I'm sure they're all very cheap so it wouldn't hurt to try.
Trust me. You need to play soul drain too. And more protection for the field. The real problem comes when you go second. Lava golems and kaiyou are good ideas too. It was a really fun way to reach diamond. Not sure if it's still good nowadays
Question, when am I supposed to use the GY effects of Spiral Battle and Spiral Power? There was one time I activiated it, but 1 one my monsters already had a Spiral Grip. And for some reason, my Spiral Dragon that was boosted to 3400 atk actually lost the extra attack points, I still have no idea how that interaction works.
Try running 3 Macro Cosmos. Not only does that floodgate brick many strong meta cards like Fraktall, Eldlich, and Diviner to name a few. It also just stops the graveyard shenanigans that MANY decks use on the regular, and makes your pop trap an effective “delete” button against most decks.
If you don’t have UR material craft some Card of Demise. It’s insanely broken in this deck, and just in general (it’s limited to 1 in the TCG). Most of the time you literally just get to use it as +3 if you go first to set up the perfect backrow. Plus it’s one of the best cards ever to topdeck if u play it I think.
add 3 Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragons just in case they pop your set fists and you get a free summon for some extra cheese ;p doesn't happen alot tho but it's something
Thanks for the video 👍 but... Imo This deck relies heavily on fieldspell. if you don't have the card or... the opponent manages to set up some negates, then you might lose.

Once sea stealth is on the field and active, your spell is basically immune to everything but like IO or knightmare unicorn (as commonly played cards).
Can this deck beat monsters that can't be destroyed and are unaffected by card effects? I don't see how it can. The trap cards won't work. Any suggestions on decks to beat these type of monsters would be helpful.
make ur monsters stronger n attack
Skill drain helps
So glad Dkaywd is mostly master duel now. I stopped playing DL to start playing TCG again so I stopped watching. Gonna tune into the next stream now!
Been running this deck since January i use tenyi ult. Blue eyes with it
If you want to be Pay 2 Win, replace Unexpected Dai with Fossil Dig (a UR)
Dai is not always live, but Fossil Dig is.
Why Fossil Dig? Doesn't that just add the monster to the hand? UD special summons
@@UglyStru You don't care about special summon. Most of the time you will draw a second copy of UD and it will dead cuz you already have a token or Megalomasher.
The best case with UD is you Megalomasher through UD, then normal summon Megalomasher in hand if you have one. It rarely come out and I honestly prefer to hold my Megalo for possible Pacifis search for the next turn.
@@aciesara5444 ahh facts, i just can't justify wasting the crafting costs on it for this deck
@@UglyStru unexpected dai is vulnerable to Max C, otherwise they almost always waste it because the only other special summon you use is the field spell.
I love playing Phantasm. Its even one of my strongest irl decks
with so many trap card reliant decks popping out, makes me want to play Royal decree even more
Champions Vigilance would also work with the token or the lv8 main deck monster
Def would start to be too "unsearchable card combo"-y, tho.
can also use demise of the land for the field spell
nowadays yugioh, it does not matter much what archetype deck you use..
most important thing is handstrap and any spell/trap that negate effect. If you got a ton of them, wining is ensure
Tried the deck; first three duels, no field spell.
How come none of the master duel creators put a written list of the cards
Fun fact if this deck was playing against yugi in the anime once he noticed your deck is full of the same card its all over.
i could not believe how much headache a frkin token was giving me, until i baited everything and won with Zeus, but it was SOOOOO cool, I will totally make this deck for a couple laughs
insane how this went under the money hungry Master Duel radar. They would have made the field spell an ultra rare if they knew it was competitive in MD.
because its not really good
It’s not UR material. You quite literally have to craft the entire deck around that single card to make it work.
this is my most favorite deck i used to play in ygpro vs my mate :D
followed by ancient gears.
I faced a deck like that. I got so angry that I poured all of my resources and pulled out oumber 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad. They scooped
Can anyone tell me , this deck still worth it to be play and can it win duel with Meta deck?
I can't make it work, but I'm not mad. I had the URs for other decks, and the stuff I had to craft was dirt cheap. Even though it's not a super good deck, it was still worth the points spent for the entertainment.
I'm gonna subscribe and scour your channel for more budget decks.
Cool budget deck I'll make this one
How do u shut this down? Most irritating deck I’ve hit and deck out is the only thing I can think of
Please put the deck list in the description, love the videos btw
Using this deck and I am loving it!!!
I should dust off my irl version of this deck and play it at a locals sometime should be pretty fun
If the extra deck doesn't matter, wouldn't pot of extravagance be good?
The deck is more about the one field spell than draw power. So searching 6 cards and taking the one field spell or field searcher might be more important than drawing 2 cards. But it's not like extravagance is bad and with a little luck it would be more lucrative.
Heat wave is a great option in this deck
ive played this deck since maximum crisis released exclusively (aside from predaps).
I needed this for my beloved justice break
This is the content I'm subbed for
I Suggest SwoSou Blackout. Youve got an unlimited supply of Wyrms on field to destroy.
I build this deck, is really strong if you have field spell and skill drain
And if u don’t it’s not .
Trust me. You need to play soul drain too. And more protection for the field. The real problem comes when you go second. Lava golems and kaiyou are good ideas too. It was a really fun way to reach diamond. Not sure if it's still good nowadays
What can you replace solemn judgemeny with?
Question, when am I supposed to use the GY effects of Spiral Battle and Spiral Power? There was one time I activiated it, but 1 one my monsters already had a Spiral Grip. And for some reason, my Spiral Dragon that was boosted to 3400 atk actually lost the extra attack points, I still have no idea how that interaction works.
maybe I'm just unlucky but when i tried this deck out....i got my ass kicked most of the time
I've lost six games in a row
yupp same... no idea how he went 10-0, my starter hands are garbage 90% od the time or i fight decks that just ban my field spell
Now do this 10 times in a row going second against decks that actually do something.
Imma pull this deck out when the N/R event comes thru
Built this deck but brick and lose every single game.
I love the intro back to duel links
What would you run in place of the terraforming if you dont have the points to craft it?
Metaverse maybe?
If you don’t have UR material craft some Card of Demise. It’s insanely broken in this deck, and just in general (it’s limited to 1 in the TCG). Most of the time you literally just get to use it as +3 if you go first to set up the perfect backrow. Plus it’s one of the best cards ever to topdeck if u play it I think.
This deck is fabulous , i wont believe what will happen if yusha tenki came out
I was planing to build this by using the website, then, master dkayed apeared with this f2p master piece. Nice, I'm joinking this for real ....
Hey General question how would this deck do against an timelords deck or numeron?
I made something similar that just uses common rarity cards only. Lol it's just paleos and phantasm spiral dragon and some stall traps. 👍
This deck was good time, thanks sir
Bro..can you work out a combo including "Phantasm Spiral Assault"?..I'd like to see this deck winning through its condition
add 3 Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragons just in case they pop your set fists and you get a free summon for some extra cheese ;p doesn't happen alot tho but it's something
This is my fav deck rn
I play Heat Wave in the deck. Shuts down every deck since they can't summon effect monsters.
You gotta run macro cosmus in these it completely shuts down eldlich and dryton
Phantasm Spiral getting some love. :)
Is there any way to recycle the traps that pop and negate? Or is like after you used all the copies got no other options
Thanks for the video 👍
but... Imo
This deck relies heavily on fieldspell. if you don't have the card or...
the opponent manages to set up some negates, then you might lose.
Must be getting lucky most people just lightning storm me.. not sure how that don't happen to you🤣🤣
What's the card next to the phantasm city?
I accidentally found out that his voice is on the edits
I love when the meta decks dont even bother to read effects... just keep doing whatever every game 🤣
Could you combine this Deck with a Normal Pendulum Deck???? :O
what if i dont have skill drain? should i use infinite impermanence? and can i use pot of desires if i dont have the pot u use?
They are sr's, cmon my lad, those are easy materials to come by
Played against this with my heroes and I had to do quite a bit of plays to play around it. Tricky deck to beat
You just busted the best secret among F2P players sadge
so much this
Please do a video on the lukes infernoid on tactics please
OPTION:
Fish sonar
Fury of kairu shin
Supernatural Danger zone
Sea Stealth ll
Adventurer token
Even though I am killing it with phantom knights, this cheap deck looks good and I will make it too.
just made branded despia surrender with this deck lmao
I play Dark hole and raigeki in this deck.. Then pull out birthright or monster reborn... Lucky if I don't get ashed. 😏
I was wondering why people played this deck until i saw this now , all i gotta say I clapped them all with my utopia deck lol
No written list or card-by-card? D:
Yeah, I got everything but the extra deck
Posting Decklist for you tho right now
I got clapped by this deck today I couldn't do anything :(
