Very nice spending some time with you today. I have the turtle Quaker pattern from Owl Forest as well. Just trying to figure out floss situation. I will be joining the SAL as well and may need to buy me some of that silk floss from Yamir. Looks gorgeous on the Quaker Turtle pattern. Looking forward to following your progress.
I think AlmondMNM silk floss and Owl Forest Embroidery would be beautiful!!

Your Hello trees look so good with the thicker batting, it gives them a lot of dimension and texture! I am drooling over all of your Quaker WIPs and your stitches look so good on the 40ct fabric. I have only ever done one piece on 40ct and you’re inspiring me to give it another try! Perhaps I will need to choose a Quaker as my new year new start! Take care.

What is the problem with shipping from USA to Australia? I sent something from Chicago to Kiewa on September 8. I just received it back today, November 12! The package said “MAIL SERVICE SUSPENDED RETURN TO SENDER.” I’m shocked! Your “Hello” trees are beautiful and the finish is perfect!
USPS has suspended shipping to a lot of countries and Australia is one of them. I’m not sure why they’ve done it and when it will lift but it’s so inconvenient!

Love love love the Pom Pom trim on your hello trees, the colours are spot on! Well done on your Gilmore girls finish… I have deep regrets about not buying the box… I’m in Oz too and I was nervous about the expense and it not turning out to be worth the cost and shipping, so I’m living vicariously through you stitching it I might try for the next retreat but I know how quickly they sell out so we will see 😂
I completely understand, they do stack up to be on the expensive side but I have the fondest of memories and experiences from it so I think that outweighs the cost personally! fingers crossed for the next release for you!
