I never had a second thought that Islam could come in and snatch it from him and he did it impressively. Just overall dominant and confident in his game, it shows and never fails to impress. He might hold this belt for a while.

While watching this, and admiring this champion and his humility, I couldn't go past the interviewer's skills. She put context on every answer Islam gave, tried to go over various topics in a short amount of time, seemed enthusiastic, tried not to speak too quickly for Islam, etc. That's part of a good show.

Some people still had doubts about his striking game, he showed the world that he is a complete MMA fighter. He has the true skill set of the well rounded fighter. No matter who you are a striker, grappler, submission specialist, kickboxer, or whoever,he could dominate you in anyways...
Glad to see these guys show a great respect for late Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. If it wasn't for him, non of these would have been possible. He carried these kids on his shoulders as long as he could. He paved a way for them and made their lives better.

This is bittersweet, I like Charles and Islam both and wanted the best man to win, although I felt Islam was going to win. Such a great example of lifelong dedication to the sport and reaching the pinnacle and still remaining humble and grounded.
