Here after watching Tech Tangents' video on the original DTC01 synthesizer. Even though this song was made with the help of newer software to control pitch (not sure what it is, but the UTAU program, perhaps?), the fact this almost 40 year old voicebank can still hold up these kind of intonation changes is bonkers. And, of course, Perfect Paul's voice would be perfect for Still Alive, so I am not surprised.
UTAU is a singing synthesizer made in the same vein as Vocaloid, it takes voice samples as WAV files, does pitch correction, and concatenates the samples together. The fact that it just takes WAV files means anyone can create voices for it, helped by the fact that the program is free. There also exists ARPAsing, a program which takes ARPAbet phonemes (same type of code for DECTalk phonemes) and turns it into an UTAU voicebank, making the conversion possible by way of literally ripping the DECTalk output.
there is people making the ibm 7049 sing, the original singing computer, with a program called chipspeech. somone was trying to make a version of the voice for utau too
@@Neon-ws8er it's actually a utau with moonbase samples :) for those who don't know a utau is like a voicebank you can make with certain voice samples and tuning

You should do "Want You Gone" next, then my life will be complete! Keep up the good work!😄
It is by someone else and is the actual text to speech but it does exist.
