Honestly, Deadpool, Miles and Laura were my favorite three in this whole book
I can understand that but for my favorites were Laura mayday Parker the daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane and gabby.

I think personally the first issue of Dark Ages was the strongest, but at least we got Miles in the symbiote suit. His suit design might rival Peter’s.
Miles can actually handle the symbiote since if venom tries anything he can just get zapped and the design is cool like agent venom.

Miles' Venom suit is BADASS, matter of fact, a lot of these suits look better than their normal 616 counterparts : Cap's suit comes to mind!
tbh. I think his Carnage symbiote looks cooler. But yes it is another symbiote.

Y'know... i'm kinda confused on why Peter's webshooters were taken out by EMP, i thought they used a pressurised cannister for the fluid and the firing mechanism was mechanical, not electronic.
They are mechanical, but maybe he made them electronic in this universe? Like, specifically this universe.

@@spider59er35 that just shows how peter doesn't really plan or have back up plans, u'd think he'd have a mechanical mode or keep his old ones for this specific reason. For god sake on of his villians is electric based.
A good example would be tasm1 webshooters beinf electronic
If I recall correctly, they had some kind of electrical relee or switch inside that activate every time Peter uses them.
How do you kill something unkillable, you give them a weakness and make them killable.

Dracula’s lived for hundreds of years, Apocalypse over a thousand so their gap in experience should let you know Apocalypse aint falling to Dracula lmaoo guess the writers forgot that part smh🙄
@@reallyhimongod I can agree with you on that. I can’t even take Apocalypse seriously anymore since he’s like the biggest jobber in marvel comics. Throughout this story I was hoping they gave him some moment to shine but then again they have to nerf him down so the good guys can win and blah blah blah. Like honestly, his powers getting shut down by sue storm? That is just complete bullshit. He should be able to stop on every single character showed in this story. And about dracula, shouldn’t apocalypse make his density stronger w/o the celestial tech? He could have simply just done that and Dracula’s fangs would easily break. Like honestly he could have just grown to galactus size and stepping on everyone else and end of the story. At this point even that one shitty x men movie represented better his powers.

The book was fun but I feel the last issue ended way too abruptly, that fight and the aftermath deserved at least 1 more issue to really sink in and give some sort of resolution.
Yeah, Taylor is writing Dark Knights of Steel as well as DCeased part 3, both for DC, so I guess he's stuffed up.

@@shark3660 Yeah, Dark Knights of Steel is good, even if it's just Game of Thrones with DC characters. Issue 6's cover with Bruce riding what I'm sure is Beast Boy as a Dragon should be awesome. As for DCeased, Taylor has killed most of the characters dust far, really the only ones left are his personal favs who most fans don't care for. I mean the only batfam members left are Damian, Cass, Ace and Alfred. He couldn't even keep Jason alive, ffs.

Yet comics keeps using EMP as a crutch, these writers are getting lazy. This ain't the 90s anymore, they need to come up wuth better plot armors instead of reusing the same old ones.

I think dark ages could’ve been so much stronger as a 12 issue series maybe a bit less but definitely more than 6

I love Doom when he works with the heroes! His character in Iron Man right after Secret Wars was awesome! Make him the leader of an all new Defenders. Alongside Xavier, Magneto, T’Challa, Wanda, Hercules, Namora, Captain Britain, The Juggernaut, Amanda Sefton, Valkyrie, America Chavez and Calvin Rankin (Mimic).

This is a cool story but the ending felt a little anticlimactic, I thought it would end with them defeating Apocalypse and the Unmaker and closing the portal.

When I heard it was about all electrical power being gone I honestly thought it the start was going to be about the real life possibility of a large solar flair causing the EMP strong enough to shut down all tech

They can’t seal the portal since none of them can use magic like Strange could
Because 1 this all happened because of very constant EMPs, many times an EMP is activated once and never again but this was constant and 2 the EMP here was WAY higher than a normal one, it could even take care of Tony's suit just so you have a scale of how big it was

@@christopherpicart4199 I think the only good display of apocalypse’s powers were in that x factor story where he had to fight black bolt and the x men to use baby cable as his host and while in a weakened state he literally took on every single one of them and the only way he was defeated was because he burned his current host body at the time. And the second one was in that emma frost black queen comic where it shows apocalypse incinerating each one of his test subjects he was trying to use to host. Otherwise I think all the x men animated series did a good job portraying him

I think this series was awesome but I wish it was longer . It was very rushed but even with this being the case, it had a lot of cool moments a lot of great things going for it

It's how taylor writes, replace all or most of the males with female counterparts. Notice how He gave Tony's suit to pepper, making her the "Iron Man" of the story? While making Laura the Wolverine, even have her useless clone gabby there while the real Wolverine was shown and killed for light 3 panels. Even Cyclops and Cap were kept away til the last issue, again Taylor's way of writing.
