There was a girl I met a week ago that completely changed my life, my perspective, and the way I see women. She was one of the funniest people I had ever met, was easily a 8 or 9, and had the most gorgeous singing voice one could ever imagine. She inspired me to do better on NoFap than I ever have, I’ll probably never go back to it, I have motivation now. I got her number just before we left for home, and a few days later I texted her how I felt about her. She texted back saying she was sorry, and that she didn’t feel the same way. It’s gonna take me a while to recover, but I feel like this video has helped at least a little bit! Thanks Jak! ❤

I'm in a situation right now where I'm a senior in high school and the girl that I like went off to college. I didn't realize how much I loved talking to her until she was going to leave, so I went out with her once before she left this past summer. Not as a date, just as friends. This is the first time I ever went out 1 on 1 with anybody and I have not since. We don't text for weeks on end but when we do we can text for a long time. I don't like her for looks. She has her life together and works extremely hard, she can joke around and she is trying to beat her struggles (not allowing herself to get extra time on work in college due to mental impairment like she did in high school). She is coming back for the holidays and I might see her again, but I don't know if I should make the step for asking her out on a date. She's going to meet other guys in college. I don't want her thinking of me so much, but I don't want to lose her either. This video does help and I appreciate it Jak, but I still feel stuck right now. I am working hard all day every day to be distracted from thoughts of my social life, but the few times that I do stop and think I feel so defeated. I'm not sure what to do about that, but I did change my morning routine and go on nofap which has been going out longer and longer with each try, so I hope to quit it entirely this time around. I'm just not sure if my mental state on my general social life (no close friendships outside of this one) is going to fix. If anyone has advice, please reply. I appreciate it.
Two things, why do you feel defeated? Is it because you don't enjoy doing stuff on your own? Is it self-loathing? Is it because you don't have anybody you can talk to on the regular? Try to identify why you feel defeated before you try to ask her out. Second thing, are you in a position in your life where you feel comfortable having a girlfriend? Do you feel financially stable, as in (because you're in high school), can you take her on dates or buy her things? If you can't, it might not be the right time until you can because here soon you won't be in high school anymore, you'll have to figure out what you want to achieve in the next 5 years, where you see yourself and where you want to be.
Basically, ask yourself if you can commit to her and feel like you can be yourself too without compromising your future or disrespecting yourself. You gotta ask yourself why you feel defeated so that you don't bring that baggage into your relationship. Fix that and go from there, in my opinion. Good luck buddy.
@@vinine1204 Thank you for taking the time to respond I truly do appreciate it. I feel defeated because I feel like all of my hard work in school is not paying off. I have strict parents so I have to keep getting straight A's and am taking college courses early so I can graduate a year early, mainly because they love my sister way more and I probably feel that I need to be as successful as her to be loved as much. That's why I have to get straight As. As for my financial situation, I am fine and feel ready to be in a relationship. I don't have anger issues and am very patient so I don't think I will be a burden on a partner (I hope). When I do talk to people they usually vent about their problems to me because I listen, but I don't feel like any of those people take the time to get to know me and I end up feeling more used than having a mutually good relationship if that's the right way to put it. I can achieve everything I SHOULD achieve in school and for a career, but not much of what I really want. I love music but over quarantine I lost touch with it and just want to do something with it on the side if I wasn't feeling so burnt out.
I will do 5 pushups every 2 likes (found out about this method recently so I am thinking to try it out)

Thank you for everything you said in this video. I had a very similar case right during the holidays. It ruined the holidays for me and I couldn't build myself up toghether again. Today it was the first day in 2 weeks I've last seen her and I chose ignorance.
But you know what? Although I can choose ignorance everytime, I realised today that there is nothing to lose, absolutely nothing to lose if I just continue keeping the same friend relationships woth this girl.
I had the best conversations of my life with this girl, much better than every girl I've ever talked to, and I know exactly what is the root cause. Her personality: she always gives me attention for nothing in return, has great humor and overall a fucking good personality. Now I know that she is taken, and probably will, but I believe I find myself again, and not choose ignorance, even if she rejected me in a hard way!

This is relatable ashh, the was this one girl that I had been talking to for weeks and I knew she liked me and I liked her, we liked each other and we were still in the talking phase or wtv. I wanted to break up with her because I didn't feel like she was being serious with me, I felt jused, the going home and feeling lonely shit hit hardd. I wanted to get rid of my feelings for her, despite only being in the talking phase and really only hugging her. During fall break I decided to just ignore her messages completely, and maybe she'd lose interest. I'vehad a crush on a girl from my English class for almost 3 years. She knows, but she ignored me after I confessed or after I asked her out. Sometimes I text her when I need something from the book of the previous school year, as she's 1 year younger than me, and she sends it, but when I try to text to talk she once again ignors me. I have no idea why, because if she just told me no when I asked her out, I wouldn't text her, as we didn't speek to eachother unless the task at the English class required so. Now, I'm in another country, because I'm from Ukraine, and there's war right now, but I'm still into her. When the war is over, I'll come back and I'll try to ask her out again until she says no. I sometimes feel like she likes me too, because one time she liked my post on instagram, which she saw without following me, I got a notification, but she removed the like. Also when I got her a gift on her birthday, when she was walking home from the English class with her mom, it was pretty dark, but her mom immediatly knew it was me without seeing me before.
For starters, you need to learn to take the hint. You only ask a person out once and if that person say no, just be ok with the rejection and walk away. Do not keep chasing her. You will turn yourself into a creepy guy. It isn't your job to fix her and attempting to force her to like you is not a good idea. Red flag is if you keep asking her out non-stop. If she ignores you, that is a sign that you need to take a hint but leaving her alone and move on.

If you want to continue to be friends with her, you just gotta figure out something you can do together outside of school. If you have already, just continue to do that. You can't talk about school or class if you're not both doing that. You gotta have something in common. Or, if you feel like you have a space in your life for her, ask her out. Take her to a restaurant that you know she likes. You just gotta find common ground. Friendships aren't built on hopes and dreams. Put in some effort into a friendship outside of school and see what happens from there buddy.

@slimshady-zv5er it's hard to keep a friend of the opposite sex. The hobbie gap is wide, and the chances of someone catching feelings for one another are high. A lot of people won't even try. But that's also how a lot of meaningful relationships are formed through just casual friendship at first. Just do stuff that you both enjoy, and see where it goes! Hope I helped out!
