It seems like this woman has mastered the art of grievance to have society spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on her, if not a million plus while she provides absolutely no value to society. I almost admire her power of manipulation and ability to play the system.

She was surprised to have been included. It’s her privilege that got her this far. It’s because the people in the system who should had failed her, rather than promoting her are at fault here. There were many opportunities to have her not hold such positions of authority. It’s just as stupid as having men competing in women’s sports 😂

    Rachel has Dunning Kruger Effect!!
The Dunning-Kruger Effect is a psychological phenomenon in which people with low ability fail to recognize their own incompetence and overestimate their skills.
OK, that explains her lack of self awareness, but how about all the other people in the Breaking community who have watched her over the years?? Almost 20 yrs!!
Are we really at a point now where everybody is so woke, and afraid of hurting someones feelings, that nobody in the Breaking community in Australia in 20 yrs has ever said to Rachel "Hey, you're crap!!"
No judge has ever given her the scores she deserved??
How has Rachel been validated in her efforts so far, to give her the impression that she actually has talent??
It's OK to support someone "having a go" but it's not Ok to support their delusion that they have talent.
I find this whole situation bizarre, and it baffles me how it got this far?? Where a person with zero talent can somehow represent her country at the Olympic games!!

I dont know if anybody from Sky actually reads these comments but maybe you guys can look into the rumour that the Olympic committee had no experience with breakdancing so they farmed out the holding of qualifying rounds to dance organizations in each country to hold the finals for Olympic selection. in Australia the organization the Olympic committee delegated to also had no experience outside of ballroom dancing so they then reached out to an "official" break dancing group which turns out to be run by Rachel Gunn and her husband who then managed the Olympic qualifier and people were allowed to compete by invitation only. effectively this means Raygun stacked the odds in her favour by being in charge of the selection. its something Brett Cooper pointed out in her video on this and if its true this whole thing gets even stinkier.

PhD in Cultural Studies, with a specialty in the gender politics of movement and breakdance.
Her Thesis was titled: "Deterritorializing gender and Sydney's Breakdancing scene: A B-girl's experience of B-boying"
Now a Professor lecturing at universities about breakdancing and cultural movement.
Hannah Berrellit says: "She has written about how including breakdance in the Olympics changes it from a practice within an alternative subculture, to a hegemonic one that incorporates the dance into what she sees as aAustralia's settler colonialist project."
Brett: "So Rachel is one of the reasons Breakdancing was put in the Olympics. She advocated for it. She got Australia to be involved. She started the whole thing and then _somehow_ managed to get them to send her. This is literally like a personal pet project of hers."
Brett: "I figured out why she won [the Australian trials]. They [the Olympics] don't know anything about breakdancing. They offloaded the qualification management to a different dance organization, but that dance organization oversees ballroom dancing. They *also* don't know anything about breakdancing, so they outsourced it to local entities in different countries to host the qualified competitions, etc.
"The organization that it was outsourced to in Australia *is run by Rachel Gunn and her husband* (who is her breakdancing coach) so in these competitions only like 10-15 women show up. Obviously Rachel wins all of them because she and her husband organize the entire damn thing. That is how she got to the Olympics.
"I did someresearch because I wanted to find that performance thinking again, you know, maybe the pressure got to her; maybe we shouldn't be attackign her; maybe she just had an off day..but no, that's literally how she dances [video clip attached].
"That's not breakdancing. This literally looks more like a rodeo clowns performance than it does breakdancing. And somehow she won. She won the entire thing. Is this rigged? I genuinely do not know what is going on.
"The other shocking thing that we need to note is that she didn't just win that competition. She has consistently been winning in Australia for the last 5-10 years since she first became interested in breakdancing and cultural movement. Like, how, how is there no one else? Is everyone in Australia just absolutely terrible at breakdancing?
"Any person no matter your race can breakdance and do it well. Rachel is just not one of them.
"I think that she just, you know, maybe lacks talent and nobody has ever told her."

Its like watching a movie, where the actor can't transition between moves in a fight scene, so they have to film each separately and edit the clips together, and they didn't edit it very well. Like Jamie Fox in the club in Miami Vice.
Or they want to put the actors face in the middle of what should be an uncut stunt double sequence, like Scarlett Johannsen in Iron Man 3.
It would have been a lot cheaper and more effective to find some 12 year old dancing on a street corner and ask if they'd like a free trip to Paris.

Classic case of "those who can, do; those who can't, teach". She may be "educated" but but wasn't smart enough to realize she didn't have the physical skill. She must live in a delusion to believe she did well and didn't become the laughingstock of the Olympics.
