Thanks you Guys for this amazing trip you are doing till Nigeria to Senegal. I' m from Togo, living since years in France. For the first time, due to your videos I've now an ideas about each country on the coast (life in their capitals, how boarders are making life and mooving difficult. Great thanks to you and the idea IS very top 👍
00.06 where this shop is located? Am living now outside of Dakar te cost of living depend on citys .. its still cheap rufisque departement suburb and suroundings
Good video. What is the name of the market? I don't know about this market. I used to go to Castor market to buy Nigeria food stuff from a nice Ibo lady, Mama Tony.
Many African countries borrow money from international organisations to build infrastructures. It is the repayment of this debt which by a mechanism explains the cost of living in these countries. If life in Nigeria is cheaper it is also due to the fact that this country is one of the least indebted on the continent. Its infrastructure is partly financed by oil.
I'm senegalese and I recognize that our country is one of the most expensive in Africa. What is surprising is that it's not food that senegalese people complains more about but the cost of housing.
The cost of life in Dakar is actually one of the most expensive in Africa. It's due to inflation after the COVID 19 epidemic in Sénégal. Sénégal imports lots of products from foreign countries exacerbating the cost of life due to customs fees.
I live in Dakar for 10 years, just relocated back home last year June with my family, I can't continue to pay for house rent and school fees every month, no matter the cost of living in Nigeria, I still prefer it to living in Dakar
Bro u guys have to watch out with price business people in senegal most of them double their prices to foreigners .try and get local to go shopping with
oui mais il paraît que au Sénégal c'est horriblement surtout les loyers😱 . Le Gabon et aussi la côte d'ivoire sont cher , comme partout où presque . pas de job ou job mal très mal payé 🥵🤢.
So you guys you want product that come from Nigeria to Senegal to cost the same price like people brought there for free?? I agree Senegal in expensive but i'm not sure that nigerians save more money than senegalese each month
I think they deceived you with the prices because what you bought cannot cost 15,000 CFA francs in any case.....in Senegal people are used to taking advantage of foreigners but I assure you for the same amount of food if you send a Senegalese to buy it for you you will never pay 150,000 CFA francs for that 😂they just took advantage of your ignorance of market prices because she sold you green leaves 🥬 🍃 at 500fcfa when it costs 50 or 100fcfa everywhere so be careful ⚠️
Good evening guys, welcome to reality, electricity cost money to produce so do water and working sewage good plyable roads etc. Your acquitance should be ashamed of himself not paying bills in Portharcourt. Thats is why everything crumbles around us in Nigeria. Kenneth, thank you for the tour, by the way ground rice was our staple in the 70s and early 80s in Londen you prepare it the same way as AMALA/SEMO. Enjoyable with a good sauce. Cheers
its worst place in africa cost of living ,rent even eat one kg of rice canada is 150 canidian dollar so senegal is run away .food price and rent and water expensive ,,good vodieo you open my eye.thank you
It's expansive to most Africans not only Nigerians ... Most countries minimum wage are below 40usd per month ... What matters in a country economy is how much one earn in comparison with what one spending on basic commodities
This high cost of living is due to heavy import of goods and the loan that previous president took from international banks. And obviously all these new infrastructure come with a cost as well.
Why convert to naira...what maybe expensive to u may not be expensive to the locals.... Is like going to America and converting anything to naira and saying America is expensive 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Borrow your flag colors??? School yourself about your o wn flag . Most African countries choose these colors on the idea that it is Ethiopia colors and that country is the only one that never been colonized.
Ethiopia has been occupied by Italy for years like other African countries. But Italy lost the war. France also lost the war several times in Senegal before colonizing other countries.

Senegal is the most expensive country in Africa. 2nd most expensive is Ivory Coast and 3rd position is Cameroon. Nigeria is the cheapest country not only in Africa but in the whole world. U guys need to spend sometime on simple research about the subjects that y'all bring up.
