    When I started writing (drawing actually since it’s a comic) my marvel fanfic, I wanted to make a character with disabilities. I’ve never really done this before and wanted to make it realistic. The character was blind for most of the story so far but because magic exists she gets it cured. Just because I made it cured doesn’t mean that I want to drop it all completely cause she still remembers it and I want to make anything that she remembers about being blind realistic and don’t want to mess it up.

      @@niko-tt2se What she's saying is we all have our rough days. It's okay to get frustrated or to have a tough time with processing what's happening. Those are valid emotions. It's unrealistic to expect anyone to be upbeat and positive 100% of the time; life doesn't work that way. Working through the negative stuff to get back to a place where we do feel comfortable and okay is an important part of emotional growth for everyone, not just for disabled people.

    • @niko-tt2se
      @niko-tt2se 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joannestark3023 I totally agree with that I was just stating that it’s better to more positive than negative when dealing with disabilities since it helps people cope with them better and adjust to a new lifestyle

    • @joannestark3023
      @joannestark3023 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@niko-tt2se Question: Have you ever personally had to adjust to disability onset? I don't mean had a family member go through this process or watched a friend adapt to changes resulting in disability onset. I mean been through the process yourself. It's a long, emotional process for some people. So to say just maintain a positive attitude and you'll be fine is easy to say but can be very, very hard to do when you're actually adapting to a new situation physically, mentally, emotionally, and psychologically. It takes time, support, and the will to accept what's happening to you to reach a point where you can start to feel comfortable and okay with saying, "I'm blind." Or, "I'm epileptic." Whatever the disability. Learning to balance the negative with the positive when it comes to adapting to a new or worsening disability also takes time to learn.

      I think she has done a video similar to that, if I remember correctly 🤔 her sister/assistant kinda explain the colour and texture. She mostly feel the texture and said it will be nice to wear this on such-and-such occassion. Also if you're interested in it, you might want to search "Lucy Edward Say Yes to The Dress" or "Blind Girl Say Yes to The Dress" because she was featured in there. You'll see how she choose her wedding dress

      She has done several vid on how she put on makeup. One of them is very inspirational and my fave vid. I'll go n see if I can find the link for u. As for the rest, if u r interested in it, you can search for 'lucy edward blind makeup' and it should show up. She has varieties of it, starting from eye makeup, how she knows what color she's using, to a full face makeup tutorial

      Here's the link to my fave Lucy's makeup vid. If you want something that have more explanation or more like tutorial, you can search for her other makeup vids. They're all very worthwhile to watch!

    You always call your fiance your fiance, and it makes me wonder, what are your plans for getting married, having a wedding and such? I want to know what a blind wedding would be like.🙂
