I was NOT expecting this. I've been saying for a while that imagine if vocal coaches discovered some of the mind-blowing vocal techniques the beatbox community has discovered over the recent years. Stitch comes to mind. As does Bigman (his cover of 2002 is GORGEOUS).. River. Extremely good singers with some stupid crazy singing techniques. This made my day and I hope you'll do some of the others. ❤️❤️❤️

That's an excellent suggestion.
Most of the new wildcard winners are incredibly melodic and using amazing vocal techniques not seen very often. Definitely a good choice to look at!

Loved this reaction! This year especially has been really good for beatboxers incorporating singing elements into their routines, but so far very few singers or vocal coaches have reacted to them. If you look up the GBB21 Solo Wildcards for Den, Show-Go, Stitch, and River they all incorporate singing in very innovative ways. Would love to hear more commentary on that aspect of their music.

By the way, I hope anyone in the beatbox community shares this around. Would love to get more singers and vocal coaches to react to some recent singing-focused beatboxing, both so they can get more recognition and so the community overall can get more feedback and information on singing.

I love watching professional beatboxers. I've watched a few beatboxing tutorial videos to try to learn some of the basics. I run out of breath so quickly. I have zero breath control I guess.
Make sure you learn some Inward sounds and outward sounds. they will help a lot

I highly recommend you watch Stitch’s “Feels like Nothing” Wildcard. Probably the most control over a polyphonic voice I’ve ever seen, and he has a crazy effect he applies to the poly.
Much respect for this reaction and being one of few vocal coaches that recognizes the extraordinary talent that beatboxers possess.

Show-go's 2021 wildcard is insane!
The thing is that you use a lot more than your tounge but they use the lips and create vibrations both with the voice and lips. Beatboxing becomes unique when you utilize what you can do.
It is a beautiful art form
It would be awesome to see you learn the basics and then go through the beatbox education program from Beatbox Community. It could be amazing to document your learning process from basics to being trained by professionals.

Highly recommend Stitch's 2021 GBB wildcard, he has a crazy polyphonic voice and uses a weird burp vocal technique I think he invented(?)!

Hey Miss Rebecca, I love your reviews and reactions. I noticed you did one for I Still Love You from KISS; which is an awesome tune, so I thought I would recommend a couple. First, since you talked about playing and singing look for Eric Carr Young and Wasted! He was the drummer for KISS until he got sick, RIP and his voice will probably be one of the ones that make your eyes go big. And just to watch you blush look for Let's Put the X, which is racy but has a great beat and smooth harmonics... and you can dance to it, lol. Keep 'em coming
And when you're just totally pissed off at the world or maybe something smaller, I Just Wanna is a fun little guilty pleasure to sing a long with to brighten your mood, also by KISS

If I may offer a suggestion, it should be news to nobody by now that the super group ABBA has reunited after 40 years and only a couple days ago released two new singles. You might consider a reaction video, as several other reactors already have, to their first release "I still have faith in you". Thank you for your consideration and keep up the great work.
