Out of all the motorcrosser rebuild vids on youtube yours is the best because their more real and honest and you give the best tips - keep up the good work from the UK
Dude, i'm no expert in youtube videos or ecosystem, but keep this up, all these little projects are amazing to watch and you seem like a very knowledgeable guy
God I was thinking the same thing... I can't even remember the last time I manually wrenched on something smaller than 1½" ... But Hell, I can respect any excuse for a few extra hours playing in the garage...
Glad i found this channel! Thanks for uploading mate. This is probably the 1000th time you been asked but whats the italy / USA thing about? You all over the place ;)
Use an air impact to take the nut off that sits on the locking washer to hold the inner and outer hub together, just zip it fast and it’ll come off without really even spinning
Funny thing is I was watching part 1 an hour ago and since I’m Australian the times are all wack and I never really pay attention to the tome difference, the next thing you know part 1 finishes and I was like damn I wonder when the second one will be out, then an hour later the second ones out and I was like sweet as 🤘🏻
same thing happend to my am6 engine block... all of my bolt posts got ripped off my gearbox blew into pieces trough my engine case.. blewup my whole bike top end and bottom end... piston came out in 2 pieces.. my ignition gave up aswell save to say RIP
Bolt posts aren’t needed to remove the inner clutch hub. Stuff a rag between the inner and outer clutch, then a penny or washer between the outer clutch and drive gear. An electric impact should handle the center nut with no prob. At least you can continue the breakdown.
David Lear Right, and it looked like the tab-washer that locks the center-nut in place, was still folded around the nut. Sometimes teardowns have a few tearups........I’ve been there before.
@@GoodlookinMug I blacked my eye once takin a fly wheel off wth 2 wrenches...box end over an open end...it broke loose an I smacked myself right in th face...
Hey man, I actually enjoyed a lot more the other bike rebuild/restoration as I prefer these restoration videos with no talking almost and just seeing the hadjob you do better than this talking every second to say what we have already seen you've done. Anyway, love your channel, ok video. Good luck.
i didnt bring my microphone or tripod to hold my camera so im having some issues trying to make it like the other build. It sucks trying to find spots for the camera to set on
Good job men, please remove the song or put it only during time lapse and try to set your camera (focus is not working properly). Thanks for your content.
How'd you get the power valve assembly off to pull the cylinder? I got up to this part but it seems like the top end is kinda stuck on mine with that valve assembly. There's like two shitty Phillips head screws and a circlip that seem to be holding it on... Stupid ass design
YZ85 Goon not true but i still think its a stretch. even if the carb was clean it could have been sucking dirt particles into the crank as the piston pulled fuel and air in
@@Diedrich69 wouldn't blow the bottom end ... that air filter is a good sign that at some point the engine has sucked in sand or dirt witch can destroy the crank bearings.

Like the video. But the music is unbearable. Had to watch it on mute
ikr
Sorry i was drunk editing this one and woke up to this.. will do better next time.
LMAO
@@Diedrich69 not trying to be harsh or anything, your videos are great just yeah.
The music don’t bother me
Put the clutch plates in a zip lock bag with engine oil so they don’t crack
Never usually complain about the music.. but damn what were you thinking
Nice video, but that music is a pain in the ass!
i liked the music haha
Driedich and Jenny’s garage are the best motorbike restoring youtubers
So true
Try watching Cameron Niemela's videos....
I’m getting the old school vibes waiting every week or so for each episode. Can’t wait for the next 🔥❤️
Cordless impact worth it’s weight in gold will cut your disassembly time in half. Cool video!

Full fmf and excel rims that alone is around 400 bucks, what a steal dude
Mark 1869 bro the rims without the hubs are around 500 with the hubs ,to replace would be a grand, the pipe is 460
B@$!© B®0 you can get the pipe brand new for around 200 dollars lmfao
Mark 1869 yeah the wheels are a grand
dan gardner what? Lol yeah ok
@@DGfilms1996 you can not get the full exhaust system for 200, maybe just the can

I love your videos. Keep these kind coming. I love these dirt bike rebuilds.
I like the old Chevy truck!
You need to invest in an impact gun 😂, I think we all remember when back when we would do everything by hand and take twice as long to do so
Use an air impact to take the nut off that sits on the locking washer to hold the inner and outer hub together, just zip it fast and it’ll come off without really even spinning
you really getting amazing deal over here nothing under 1k even from the 90's or even broken and no paper
Like the videos m8. Makes me want to go buy a cheap bike and do it up.! You know what you are doing.great to watch.hello from the U.K
Good find! i love those old kx 250s!
Your truck is sick! 😍

Just catching this video after watching the YZ 250 video. I see you are really attached to that steel mallet! Please, please get rid of that thing! 😂😂
No need to remove the powervalve actuator arm. The cylinder just lifts right off.
God i love his videos.
Invest in an impact ratchet man. Those bolts would come off a lot nicer and the job would be quicker
Soon happy I found your channel amazing content keep it up 😁😁
Oh hell yes, sick content too❤️❤️
your vids are bomb dude don’t stop!

Bet he tried to hold th inner hub with a screw driver or something an snapped 2 posts off...nearly th cost of th bike to replace...sucks bigtime...

First thing i learned when wrenching was using another for leverage hahah
What’s the best way to learn how to disassemble and reassemble and also fix problems with a dirt bike I’d love to start doing things like this
Zip tie for strap on tank works just as fine
by all means jam the rachet into the shift lever real hard maybe use a hammer on the shifter too
Great video overall
Amazing video keep up the good work
Next time you drain the coolant there is a drain nut you don’t have to unclamp the whole hose
I see your videos from Spain
He kinda looks like a young 3D machine
Indeed he does my dear Adam.
Another great video bud! Keep it up :)

Burning use/loose on a bike rebuild? Not a bad way to go.
You shouldn’t soak a keihen pwk!!! They have internal o rings that will be destroyed!!!
How much of a tear down would it be for a complete gasket change
For the music, I would have went with the X files theme....lmao
Just as other viewers have said I enjoy your videos but that music's got to go dude before you start losing views.
black plastics would be dope
Piston already off when you pulled the jug??
Questo canale merita davvero! Poi se sei italiano...🇮🇹
full tus videos. espero puedas ponerlos con sutitulos en español, saludos de colombia
when are you going to do soothing on the 125 Aprilia
Make the music quiter when you talk
loving the builds m8 was just wondering what it was that u put your carb in to clean. is it some kind of cleaning product.
B-12 Chem-Tool...get it at most autopart stores...
Fun fact, old Chevy engines sound the same forward and backwards.
I have the same truck what year is yours mines a 69 Chevy Cheyenne
Love the channel man but the music really hurt my soul lol
Would’ve been a great video if this music wasn’t playing
Buen vídeo 👍

Excuse me I’m clueless but starting to get into bikes. What do you soak the carb in?
Ryan Clough I’m curious too.

I can’t be the only one that sees the fucking lion @1:01
Nice
It definitely made me cringe seeing that clutch hub look like that, even secondhand they cost a bundle...
thats like some 70s porn music.nice build series tho.
1:00 is that a lion??
Sangre verde 👽💀☠👍🏻
What year is this bike?
Wassup bro
Wash the motorbike before disassemble it, it's very important
Clutch hub or basket?
Inner hub...
music was cancer but good content xD
Cool Video but please no more music
The dirty airfilter could be the reason why the bottom end went.
thats a huge stretch
No because the carb was pretty clean inside. There is no way dirt would have gotten in the crankcase
YZ85 Goon not true but i still think its a stretch. even if the carb was clean it could have been sucking dirt particles into the crank as the piston pulled fuel and air in
The owner says the carb got stuck and it full throttled for 60 seconds on a stand. Which is pretty stupid i do not know why he wouldnt just kill it?
@@Diedrich69 wouldn't blow the bottom end ... that air filter is a good sign that at some point the engine has sucked in sand or dirt witch can destroy the crank bearings.
Why do you Live in italy
Dude nice video but change the damn music
