    To "out of the ordinary", I'd also add "extraordinary" as it's more concise yet similar in meaning (synonyms, though, aren't the same, and we should understand the nuances before using them).
    Thanks so much for this video, Bob!

    I was having my morning coffee while watching your Tuesday videos, as I usually do when you talk about the wacky hours that doctors and nurses work.
    ¹im a hospital pharmacist who also works wacky hours. I'm on the bus on my way to work 24 hours. The hospital needs all kinds of medicines and stuff all day around. You made me smile at the coincidence. .

      Sounds like you all are constantly having heavy workloads. I can't even imagine how you handle all this. How do you manage your own life - learning English- and your hard work? I'm so much respectful to you.

    • @silviaestevez5569
      @silviaestevez5569 4 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Working a 24-hour shift is indeed hard work, but we are mentally prepared for it. Typically, we only have to do this one or two days a week, which allows us to organize our lives around those shifts. When we have small children, it's essential to coordinate with our partners to take care of them, as we won't be home for a whole day.
      Regarding my English studies, I learned it during my school and university years. However, if you don’t use a language, you can start to lose it. That's why I've started watching Bob's videos while enjoying my morning coffee; it feels like having a friend to talk to while also learning new phrases and improving my listening skills.

    I really like these outdoors classes, because it's an opportunity to see how is the Canadian way of life. Two funny moments I like to mention is:
    The guy trying to wave from his Mercedez behind Bob, during the traffic jam (4:47);

But I don't think so, because the two people in the safety vests were pretty relaxed if anything had happened 😎. Nevertheless, based on your reaction, something must have happened because it threw you off track for a moment 😘. Thanks for the great lesson, Bob. It's always nice to see you in such a good mood. I can imagine that and I would have felt the same way, Bob 😘. The noise did sound like more had happened than just the trailer going over a bump. But maybe it just comes across amplified in your video and wasn't that loud for everyone around at that moment. Which would theoretically speak for the recording quality of your microphone. 😎🎤🎶
      A quick side note regarding the, let's say, traffic jam in Grimsby. Did I see that correctly, or am I right in assuming that it is the same street that the market is taking place on? So is this street closed every time and traffic diverted?
      Thanks for your reply, Bob. I wish you a great start to your Wednesday. 🍂🧭🚗

    Hi Bob, Thanks a lot. Regarding the weather in France, we had temperatures of 2°C with snow recently and 2 days later temperatures of 18°C, the weather is really bizzare and crazy.
    Regarding the charging point for electric cars, I guess you have to make an appointment and the plugin socket is inside the door on the left, that would really be weird!
    Our cities and villages are also already decorated with garlands and other decorations but they are not lit up yet.
    As usual the city center is decorated with a huge 30 meter tall Christmas tree 🎄 with beautiful garlands.
    From November 27, everything will start with a huge Christmas market that has existed since 1570 and completely expresses the magic of Christmas. Christmas is going to be great!
    Don't forget to write your letter to Santa Claus to get your presents.

      I enjoy working normal hours. I only had a job with wacky hours once in my life, and I couldn't get used to the changing sleep pattern! 😎☃🍂

      @ I agree with you, Bob. When I worked for Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong, I had to work on shifts and the wacky hours made me sick very often.

    Interesting fact: eating ice-cream at the cold time of year is normal for russians😅. Ice-cream isn't only good way for cooling yourself but also delicious dessert 🍦🍨🍧
