  • From the desert planes of Spahn Ranch, to the glittering hills of Hollywood and beyond, the myth of Charles Manson has endured…but is any of it actually true? Our returning guest Nikolas Schreck doesn’t think so!
This week we discuss: Why does the general population so easily believe in official narratives?, what do Timothy Leary and British occultism have to do with Charles Manson?, what really did happen at 10050 Cielo Drive? and much more.
Also, join Nikolas at the launch of the UK edition of his amazing book ‘The Manson File: Myth and Reality of an Outlaw Shaman’ on the 22nd October, tickets available here
Joining me, and finally recovered from the deserts of time, returning co-host Sam Horn

    Nikolas Schreck Bio:
Nikolas Schreck is an American singer-songwriter, musician, author, film-maker and Tantric Buddhist religious teacher based in Berlin, Germany.
Now a solo artist, Schreck founded the musical magical recording and performance collective Radio Werewolf, which operated from 1984-1994, releasing seven albums. Schreck was also the lead singer of the musical duo Kingdom of Heaven whose album, XXIII, was released in April 2015. He collaborated musically with his former wife, American singer and musician Zeena Schreck, as well as Australian percussionist John Murphy, NON, Death in June, and the British actor Christopher Lee, whose first album Schreck conceived and produced.
As a solo artist, his song “Lord Sutekh’s Dream” was released by German record label The Epicurean in conjunction with Schreck’s May 28, 2016 concert at the Epicurean Escapism Festival in Berlin.
Since that concert, Schreck has recorded and performed with his band consisting of Winfried Strauss (keyboards), Ohnesorg (bass), and Heathen Rae (drums and percussion.) After a performance at Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, noted as one of the best concerts at the WGT by German music site der Schwarze Welt, Schreck and his band released the vinyl EP The Futura Model on The Epicurean label. A monthly radio program, The Nikolas Schreck Show, premiered on Berlin’s Radio on October 31, 2017.
Schreck’s album The Illusionist was released by US label Records Ad Nauseam at an event held at Zebulon in Los Angeles on August 10, 2019.
His books include The Manson File: Myth and Reality of an Outlaw Shaman (2011); Demons of the Flesh: The Complete Guide to Left Hand Path Sex Magic (2002), co-authored with Zeena; Flowers from Hell: A Satanic Reader (2001); The Satanic Screen: An Illustrated Guide to the Devil in Cinema, (2001); and the first edition of The Manson File (1988).
His film appearances include the 1989 documentary, Charles Manson Superstar, which he directed; Usher, the last film of Curtis Harrington; and Mortuary Academy. He teaches Tantric Buddhist meditation.

I could listen to this critical thinker all day. He has such a sense of balance with an absence of an agenda that is false. He strives to find the truth and you have a sense that any belief he has is amendable when further facts are revealed to him. He uses common sense and I definitely believe that the murders motive was not to free Bobby who was arrested August 6. His information is privy to someone like Schreck because he knows how to conduct himself with known criminals - he treats them as human beings and not as if they are evil incarnate. Manson definitely played up the reputation Bugliosi assigned to him. It gave him cred which is why Manson never snitched, he was a full head on criminal living by the criminal code.( just as a Magia member shows loyalty to fellow mafioses.

Really? This is an ex devout Satanist and hidden occultist. You think this guy isn't a disinfo agent and manipulator? Lmao give me a break. How this guy isnt in prison himself is a good question. He is a Manson apologist and an occult operative. He shrugs off so many strange situations with this case and the connections to serious dark characters as superstition. This is there game, to hide Truth and decieve the public. Manson was a true classic lunatic, because of his horrible childhood and then his heavy use of drugs. It splintered his mind, just the way mk ultra treatments can cause a person's personality to change. Manson was released on federal probation in the late 60s prior to the murders. For some shady reason he was allowed to stay on the street even though he was arrested many times leading up to the Tate crimes. He went and tried to settle a drug debt and shot a man. He then was said to have showed up at Gary hinmans house and slashed his face before they killed him. He was supposed to be in the house during the labianca killing. This was no peaceful misunderstood guy, this was a deranged criminal. Who was most likely the leader of a ragtag killer family. Yet this guy schrenk finds it hard to believe that they all are still in prison? After killing all those people, he can't figure out why they are being punished lmao? What a fraud. And there was said to have been more murders out in the desert during that summer, that were never talked about. These people were sick. Not to mention LSD was being tested on inmates all over the federal system at that time, go look up what it did to whitey bulger , he's a similar subject who went insane and was allowed to kill out on the streets of Boston for decades under FBI protection! Manson went to esalin facility in California. Esalin was known to have started the whole lsd trend in California. Tex Watson was Living in bungalows near Malibu with the head practicing doctor at esalin that was pushing the LSD treatment ideas before any of this happened. All these guys knew each other, that's a coincidence I guess lol? Not to mention how creepy polanski was and rosemary baby films and who he was probably connected too .who knows what actually this is about. Maybe a drug rip off like he said, but really let's be honest could be all of the above. Satanic killing, revenge hit, murder for hire, government operation, or something else. This guy is a cover up artist and always has been he's only spouting his one sided story pal

He just claims that "none of that was true". There was no MK Ultra, no CIA or government involved in destroying the hippie cultural revolution with drugs and so on. But he doesn't know for sure. He claims its all conspiracy theories and hysterical conspiracy theories and paranoid conspiracy theories!! That's just bullshit. He keeps saying he knows what really happened!? How? Was he a member of Mansons group? He only speculates.

I think they put Manson on a pedestal as an evil murderous psychopath but I've always wondered why considering what he actually did compared to many real psychopaths and murderers who have committed far worse crimes. I think he was elevated to the cult status by several factions of society, a bit like in Britain Charles Bronson has been labelled Britain's most dangerous prisoner and parole boards never release him. They like making certain charismatic characters into monsters, it's easy if they are colourful characters who've been locked up and they can spin the story. But the public generally believe the headlines.

Parents rather than Peron’s . I had the same exact clock radio I used more for an alarm to wake up for school and it’s about the size of a can of tennis balls. . My issue with the reading of Bugliosi trying to use the clock as evidence to establish a timeline for about the time of Parents killing, . parent I believe stole it from the electronic store he worked in . According to William Garretson, Steven p:lugged the clock in to demonstrate how it looked when plugged in , in hopes of selling it to Garretson. When the police found it in Parents car it read 12:15.Bugliosi tried to place 12:15 am as the approximate time Parent was shot by Watson. Trouble is is that when you get the clock it’s set to 12:00 and I doubt that parent set the clock to the real time before or after he 0lugged it into the wall socket to show Garretson it worked . Parent plugged it in but Garretson was not interested in buying the radio. , he offered Parent a beer and after 15 minutes unplugged the clock radio. Whether Parent stayed much longer or not before leaving for his car is conjecture. The clock ran for 15 mins. It couldn’t be used as a timeline for anything . I believe he started for his car walking along the path and witnessed what was going on in the house , seeing warson killing Sebring out front to right of front door where copious amounts of Sebrings blood and Sharon’s blood was found to the left to the door on the. Flagstones and Parent ran to his car hoping to escape but I bet Watson called out to Linda to stop him from leaving ,, slicing Parents left arm and his watch band off later found in back seat.
Watson caught up to Parent and then shot him 4x. Why else would Parent say “ I won’t tell any one “ Parent was so frantic to get out of there that he backed up so quickly he bumped back of his rear bumper in to the split fence as his cars paint Was found on the fence. They couldn’t let a witness leave.

If we are to believe that the murderers were so suggestible and weak minded to allow themselves to be manipulated by Charlie, what was to stop the prosecution from similarly manipulating their minds from that point on, perhaps convincing them that they would find some sort of absolution if they put the finger on Charlie? by the way, this talk is one of the only realistic assessments of the situation i've heard. whatever happened with the murders, the aftermath and the circus is 99.9% the creation of the media, legal system and the public reverberation from that. I love Charlie and I'd have been proud to have been his friend. nobody's perfect, and there's more unsolved murders than solved ones so to use Charlie as a whipping boy or a scapegoat is futile.
