Could you do a "mom hacks" video on how to be more productive, Maintaining your energy levels to do everything that you need to do, and make each day run smoother when you have multiple kids? That would be awesome. I find that by the time afternoon hits, My energy levels have tanked and it's hard to do after school activities and keep up with stuff.
You are such wonderful and nurturing Mom! Please don't worry about the rice in the microwave... Unfortunately, social media has a way of sometimes freaking us moms out but you always make such nutritious choices for your family. Don't sweat the small things, it's the big picture and you're truly amazing! You've inspired me a lot! ...also, love your pink jumper😊
I appreciate the real-time video. Sometimes I get anxious watching sped up videos and then I end up rushing thru my chores. Lesson: slow down when doing everyday chores p.s. I had to lay with my younger son (he's 45) until he fell alseep. And if he wasn't completely asleep and I moved just slightly he would wake up. You're right in that it won't last long bc I don't even remember how long that lasted...it seems like I blinked and my sons are grown with families of their own...
Some chores we have in our house for ages 7 (girl) and 9 (boy) are: wiping the dinner table after dinner (g), taking the trash bags to the outside garbage can (b), emptying the silverware bin from the dishwasher (we put the regular dishes away so nothing is broken or heavy/unsafe), matching the socks from their clean laundry baskets, bringing their dirty laundry hamper to the laundry room when it’s 3/4 of the way full, help feed and water the dogs, and things like that. We also involve them in daily tasks like having them help prepare their school snack boxes by getting the fruit from the fridge and then putting it back and by filling up their water bottles every morning.
Hey sweet lady! Do NOT feel guilty about the microwaveable rice-I’ve gone to school for radiography, and there is only a VERY small amount of radiation from a microwave. Our instructors emphasized that very clearly. A CT scan on the other hand, now that is about two years worth of radiation packed into one…You are smart to do things to shave off a little time! Hope that helps 😊♥️
This video helps me so much! I am solo mommying it basically and you know why. But I don’t ever remember my mom being as stressed as I feel when she was doing this when I was little! I think I put too much pressure on Myself & it all needs to be done asap! I need to breathe and know it’ll get done when it gets done!! I need to give myself credit and realize I am doing the best I can! I am back on my game with menu planning so that def helps !!! 4 days a wk at the soccer field for 2 kids - I need to cook at home lol You made me tear up multiple times in this video! You’re so inspiring and your virtual friendship means the most to me! Thank you, Tiffani! Thank you all for saving the baby goose! How perfect for you !!!! 🤍😘
You kids are adorable ... I am raising my 7 and 6 year grandchildren and they have chores... Kash feeds and waters the dog and Stormi helps me unload the dishwasher. Thanks!
I always appreciate how transparent you are about mom life! Thanks for sharing ❤️ I have also felt mom guilt about microwavable rice (amongst other things!) you are not alone 🫂 we will just keeping doing the best we can each day.
Loved the grilling! Tanner's face when the plates started blowing away was priceless. Very cute segment with the girls singing in the bathroom mirror. That will be a fun one to look back on when they're older.💝
Maybe it's just me but I feel like as soon as you assign chores it takes the fun out of kids helping - they have more fun if the GET to vacuum vs. HAVE to. Maybe when my kids are teens and need some motivation to help but my kids are around your kids ages & I'm holding off on formal chores as long as possible
Our kids are older but do daily chores, we also live on a farm so some chores are just different haha. Kids are 14, 12 and 6 for animals my 14 year old checks horse water, rides 1 or 2 of the horses a day, our 12 year old cleans out the goats stall checks their water, our 6 year old collects chicken eggs and helps me fill their water and feed. For inside chores my 14 and 12 year old rotate days for loading/unloading the evening dishes, and vacuuming a certain area of the house . My 6 year old sets the table, and wipes it down after dinner. They do other things like put on the laundry some days, and put their laundry away, tidy their rooms. on the weekends they help if there is a big to do on the farm as well.
My 9yo vacuums rugs with the upright and then picks things up so the robot can run on the hard floors. My 5yo collects trash from the smaller cans throughout the house and sprays toilet cleaner in the toilets (supervised!). They both put their folded laundry and dirty dishes away, and sometimes empty the dishwasher.
Sweet video!! As grandma ,I love seeing how everyone's parenting types are different! I m in new jersey an grandson are in Virginia = you and Chris are consistently keeping with a great routine but also able to chill when needed!!!
I can only remember having specific chores from the age of 9 (i can't remember much from life before then actually 😂) My chores were setting the table before dinner every night, emptying the dishwasher, feeding my dog dinner, picking up dog poop occasionally (with a Garden Trowel and grocery bag lined plastic 'plant pot') and keeping my own room clean-ish.
I feel you about the kids toys! I try to get my 3 year old to help clean up but my 2 year old pulls everything back out. Luckily, my 5 month old can’t walk yet. 😂 Thank you for always being real about mom life. I try to prep everything as well before the next day. It is a game changer. Love you girl! 🤍✨
Our fridge does the same thing, the water takes forever to fill up a cup. We found out that our water filter needed to be changed. Even though it was a newer filter and it wasn't time to change it. Our fridge is getting older and instead of every 6 months it needs to be changed every 4. As long as we keep the filter changed our water comes out super fast. Just some helpful advice :)
Tiffani where did you get your high chairs for the island? I’m looking for something solid since my toddlers love sitting up on them and the ones we have are unsteady and heavy
Our oldest is 9 and has been doing all the trash and recycling for an about a year! He also brings the cans inside and out. My daughter takes out the compost- she’s 8. And my 5 year old-nothing set in stone yet!
I know you’ve mentioned how you wish you could homeschool but your kids love school so much. I’m curious, do you feel like with them being gone all day then when you add in sports, do you feel like you barely get any time with them and time is going by even faster? That’s the biggest thing I’m worried about when my kids start elementary school. Such long days, and they don’t get out until 4pm 😢
yes and no because I try to get as much done as possible and by the time I am done the bus is here, then we do everything as a family like stay at practices etc and have dinner together and make the most out of summer and weekends and any breaks. I thought I would feel like that too and some days I do but most days the balance is ok. For some reason the winter makes it feel hard because its dark so early which makes it feel like the day is over etc after they have only been home for an hour.
So I have a 2, 8, 11year old so my oldest once I have them clean the table, make there beds, dry the dishes and pick up their baby sister's toys they want to do it they want to help me so that's what they do.
I’m sure you can figure out some easy chores for them. Just brainstorm and make a list (I know you’re a list girl like me 😂), and I’m sure you’ll find there’s a lot of things you’re overlooking.

the number one hack is drink coffee and have lots of snacks on hand LOL
I second this video idea! Sincerely a wfh toddler mom who can't keep up with the basics
I would watch that too.
@@BeautyTheBeastons agree, the secret is coffee after lunch 🤣
we need more hacks 😅

ugh thank you so much this made me feel emotional
I have to agree!!!! You're a wonderful mom!
Agree! Sometimes you got to outsource some things! Rice is so insignificant and will basically taste the same either way. Dinner looked delicious!
I never even thought about that as something to worry about! If I didn't cook ours in the microwave, I would burn it. So don't stress!
I make rice in the microwave or on the stove, to be completely honest I don’t know how to use a rice cooker. 🤦🏼♀️
I have no idea how you manage with so little sleep. Very organised and great teamwork❤
Awww 😭♥️ when little Ryan gosling was accepted by the geese !! So heartwarming 🥰
my heart couldn't even handle it

Great they helped the goose best to contact your local vet often they are too young and need to go to foster care when they are very small x
