Those daylight windows are a game changer. Looked so realistic. I love a good candle for a cozy vibe. I also think textiles definitely makes a difference. Soft linens, soft underfoot, comfortable seating... so I agree with what you said. Decorating takes time and you've done a lot.
We all need a little clover to liven up the space. Clover is so cute right there.
😮This was very interesting. I have been watching you for several years, and I notice the change in philosophy from minimalist to cozy. Thank goodness! What is with this cold and stark decorating? It looks beautiful but does not scream live in this space. The plants look so happy!
People change hopefully. I’m not getting cold and stark. It looks cozy and Kaye always gives us something innovative as well, like the windows and the plants. Remember, she’s decorating according to her family’s wants and desires not necessarily yours.

Those "daylight" faux windows are a great idea. We have a lot of windows in our home, but I almost always have sheer blinds or curtains over them. They might as well be fake! 😆

LED windows. that's brillant. I have had a dreary basement for decades- sure wish I knew that idea sooner!! they could be grow light windows too. thanks for sharing your ideas.
I have two walls of sliders, and curtains have made a huge difference in how cozy it feels. They are just cheap waffle weave cotton, but they really soften the space. I have a lot of plants too. I know you kinda knocked pothos, but I have two that are going on 25 years old and have produced many many propagations. Zz plants and snake plants are super easy and look very structural. I also use color changing LED bulbs in all my lamps. I leave them on green because it’s soothing on my migraines and is a great vibe.
I have a pothos from my great grandmother, I've give. Propagation to my siblings!
Love those daylight windows. I checked them out. They are spendy, but not near as spendy as I thought they would be. If I had a basement, I’d be buying them, but we don’t have those where I live, basements that is. I just recently got an electric insert for my fireplace that really adds a lot of coziness. I used to have candles in there but this is so much better. I can’t wait until winter when I can turn the heater on in it. I also use battery operated candles, pillars, tapers, and I have some from Amazon that are amber glass and the flame wiggles, they’re perfect.
Love the idea of the LED light panels as 'windows' in a low light/windowless space!

I’m coming into my own cozy chapter in my life, and I am loving seeing videos like this. The biggest thing for me is the fact that there’s so many ways to be cozy, I can’t decide how to go forward lol.
Now if I can only figure out how to style my computer/game area so it’s cozy, I’ll be all set 💜 This video has such good ideas though, I’m definitely inspired to experiment with things now .

Hello Kay! I'm so here for the hygge! Thank you for the Easy Plant segment. I'll be checking them out as it would solve some plant care issues we're having.
I do have my lighting at 3 different levels all pointed at the ceiling. It just feels comfortable that way.This being Florida ; there isn't an inch that doesn't get sunlight and reflected sunlight from dawn to dusk. So , in the Winter when i don't need a fan or the AC ; that's when i can use a real candle.

My living room is painted that same green color as your bedroom and I love it.
When I had to buy a new sofa I bought one that's on legs so there's a space underneath the sofa. I actually did that because I wanted to be able to clean underneath the sofa and my old sofa didn't allow that.
