It baffles me that he didn’t realize that the Udam are cannibals until this episode when it is one of the main parts of the game. Wojah literally says they ate his arm.
I think he may just not have remembered (he plays a lot of games, I know I would forget stuff too 😂), because when they're introduced in the beginning Sayla call them "man eaters" or something like that. Which is prettt telling about what they are 😆😀
When this game came out everyone hated on it for not fitting in with the typical Far Cry experience - no guns was mostly the issue. But as it turns out, it is one of the best of the franchise simply because it did something different, outside of the box and without all the thrill of big guns, car chases and tech gadgets. Wish there were more like this, Ubisoft really hit the mark with this one. It may not be as big a world as some other Far Cry games, less side missions and more focus on a storyline, but I like that. It gives the game more meaning that just running about killing everything for no reason.
Thus game is by far the best Far Cry. The only thing I missed was the wingsuit

Udam were cannibals since day one, laughing over "I hope they're cannibals!" On the last episode. They ate the guys' arm!

Anyone else notice him say "tengo down" when he was escaping from the tomb? I love wildlands and I love that he is so well versed is a variety of games!! Such a good channel
I did wonder if the whole "skull fire" thing was their way of representing kuru (a type of encephalopathy transmitted when people eat people). I don't think it's a kind of "conventional" fever but a bit of fudging got them to include trepanning which I always find fascinating!

you found the fintstone easter egg already, there is a dragon in a cave, there is a assssins creed symbol as a path on the map. and i remember i´ve seen the ubisoft logo in a cave. thats all i found.
I love this series it's probably one of my favorite series
This was a whole naustalgia trip, I remember playing this when it came out, and other then the cave man language, (which has grown on me) I loved this game, taming beasts to fight alongside you, not needing to heavily rely on guns, or explosives, like other far crys. I also enjoyed seeing fooster enjoy this, and I also enjoyed whenever you went into caves, that you added a bit of reverb to your voice, to add to the atmosphere. Your reaction to Urki, how you approached missions, and how you used multiple beasts, instead of just one. Thanks Fooster, this playthrough was a blast, and made me redownload this game to play again!

I was curious about the head fire so I looked it up and it's a reference to Kuru disease which is a side effect of cannibalism.
Those rocks piled against the rock walls with the yellow bear claws you're suppose to hit it with a club its like a shrine or something behind them

I'm loving this series and I also have a show for you to watch. It's call mystery of blind frog ranch. I know you like the curse of oak island and this show is a lot similar to it.

The one big thing about Fooster that drives me nuts is he totally misses important messages on screen, like the ones telling him how to deal with boss mechanics.

The only thing that bugged me is he can't seem to grasp names. Even to the very end he was saying batari was in the tomb when really batari killed krati and krati is in the tomb. He got so many names wrong lol. But small price to pay for watching one of my favorite channels. Great series 👏

This is still my go to series for relaxing. I love it. And Foo did so go in this episode, mowing down the baddies and swatting them down mid- jump. Was so good!

I have played this game over and over again 5 times but watching you play it’s something else. Your voice, how you have fun with the games you play, how you manage to get the important stuff in without making the videos too long and just your play style in general makes it so great to watch. I think the udam are actually kinda representing neanderthals, getting depicted as brutes and guessing by the facial features

you needed a mammoth for that mission only beast with the raw power to get the job quicker.I've used one for that mission and make your life easy✌
There is a blood dragon Easter egg, you go through a cave in the snowy mountains and you find dragon eggs.
Funnily enough as much as you dunked on the dholes they would have really been fitting for your playstyle since you don't rely on your beasts for combat and they offer good utility.
Fooster I have really very much enjoyed watching you in this series. Sad to see it go but really loved every second. Cant wait to see whats next.

Hope they add Far Cry Primal 2! Can't wait to play it! Like the boy was really powerful when he was taming the cave bear, but takkar/main-character head only learned when he was above the age of 18, can't wait to see a fight/reunite of udams and wenja!
When you said that you can stop them mid-air and after you smacked him in the face with that bone tool you said "Stop it" I burst out laughing. Making the rhino crazy lul What a great ending. Such a cool game. Thanks for playing it.

I love how different the Udam and Wenja are. Udam are very brutal. They have meat, fur, bodies, skulls, spikes, etc, always laying around. They're more stout and broad and more muscle. Wenja are much more peaceful. They're built smaller but they're more smarter.

Fooster. Around the 43:00 mark you noted that you hoped the Udam were cannibles. 1). They are and 2). It's why they are dying out. A human eating another human brain causes a truely terrible illness called Kuru. A variation of it caused the outbreak in Dead Island 1. It's why the Udam are dying out.

This was a wild playthrough. Amazing fooster
one question: are you aware that your owl companion can spot and flag all enemies in an area? it seems like you're always trying to figure out where people are by looking over rocks and between trees. instead, you can just hunker down out of sight and then fly the owl right down in and amongst the fortress and/or stronghold and flag everybody and then even take one enemy out by dive-bombing them. in fact, it's really cool to use your animal companions to take out everyone while you're kicking it around the corner. you gotta wait a minute or two for the owl to respawn, but you can send your cave bear or saber-tooth after enemies in the mean time.
this series is what made me sub to you Fooster. love the vids and your playstyle. ty

Fooster, I don't know if it's me getting addicted to your channel or if your another TH-camr who I admire now. BUT I really injoy your videos, it started with the Dinosaur video that nearly ended you as you say, and from there I've just been watching and catching up with everything I'm around possibly 70% into your entire upload list

Great finale of this game, really enjoyed this adventure! Dunno if you already know btw, but Bigfoot's gotten a pretty neat juicy update, with ai and alt skins for the big guy, especially with you now being able to actually hide from him, so he's no longer omniscient and can lose you, and so closing the curtain windows will be a useful action.

Loved this series, though. I reckon this game deserves a sequel.
Honestly, Primal is the only Far Cry game I've played, partly because, like Fooster said, it scratches that primal, prehistoric itch. There's so much potential for stories, so many possible settings, to explore in a stone-age (or older) era. Ark kind of scratches the same itch in a survival way, and then there's Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, in a similar way, but I enjoyed Primal's storytelling; it's not a full free-form open world game, but it's open enough to give you chances to explore. It's one of the most vibrant and 'alive' feeling game worlds, teeming with wildlife, three different tribespeoples, and all of them interacting almost organically wherever you go.
A great game, a great experience, and one I'm glad it's been given a little time in the sun.

I know other people have said it, but it definitely frustrated me when you didnt realize they were cannibals until this episode considering they were said to be cannibals from the very begininng and it was talked about in almost every episode. The dude with the kid in his lap, when you were in the cage, even said they eat wenja to make them strong.

A while back I started to watch someone else play this game, but couldn’t get into it. You made it something to look forward to. The way you approach games, the little things you appreciate, the attention to your community…they all just add up to some of the best and most entertaining content on TH-cam. Really looking forward to whatever series you immerse yourself in next.

There is not a yeti Easter egg, but there is a frozen dinosaur bones Easter egg. They are in the grave close or in one of those mountains with snow. I remember it was close to those mountains. what's interesting about the Wendigo-like statues that the Udam create is the connection that their skull fires share with the legend. the Wendigo come from men who resorted to cannibalism and were transformed into the monster as a result, most likely because of the prion disease known as kuru, which would cause things like dementia and behavioral changes before death. it's infectious, and possibly could have been a part of the world that this game is based in. if the Neanderthals were forced into cannibalism to survive with the climate changes or the overwhelming competition from the other hominids, they very well could have suffered from the disease just like the Udam
