Incredible photography, Dani. I’m now 71…and I love snorkeling. My wife and I cruise every year. You’re utterly correct about the vastness of the seas…it’s the one thing that still overwhelms me.
If you enjoyed snorkeling and/swimming, you should try scuba diving and do some underwater photography there. No need to go into the deepest ocean, shalow dives can show you the beautiful underwater live and bring you close to the underwater wildlife.

I used to be such a good swimmer Guys at work used to call me Dolphin Boy.... But I was always Sh1t scared of the Deep Sea...... I think it is one of Humans natural fears, The fear of the unknown...... Great Video Dani..... :-)) xxx

As a diver myself i have often wondered about our fear of the ocean and for me i think it is the enviroment we are in(obviously) is so foreign, we lose the ability to move and breathe only on the surface or rely on cumbersome equipment which inhibits our movement and awareness of the surrounds. Noise too, we dont hear anything creeping up on us like on land, having really good visibility really puts me at ease too. But then again that is why the allure of the deep blue is so intriguing. Stunning shots btw great work.

Love your videos, but no way could I be brave enough to swim with sharks! Your videos always teach me something, and I'm amazed at how beautiful nature truly is. I need to get out and enjoy more. I'm getting up in age, but I'm determined this summer to spend time in a forest❤❤❤ p.s. thanks for telling us your fears. It encourages me to face some of my own.

Such a good video! I am def afraid of the water to some degree, I love the ocean but having a hard time with diving.
As I often heard on Danish radio in my youth:
"Follow the safety advice for sea sport. Only a FOOL does not fear the sea".
The greatest danger is drowning, not wildlife. And it's a real danger. In my country there is about one fatality per week.
I love wildlife, but I will never swim in the ocean or lake. Not because I’m afraid of water, but for the fish. Love this video and as always love the photos you made

I understand your fear very much, maybe because I learned swimming quite late in my childhood and I am still a very bad swimmer. Hopping from a boat into the water in the open ocean? Boaaaahhh... no! But maybe I need to challenge myself one day, just as you did!

You could take a freediving class. Is cheaper and safer than scuba and it will help you take better underwear footage while also relaxing.
