      @nicolasreyes2190
      I think the consensus right now is they do have a language, though we have no idea how complex it is. They definitely have regional dialecs, that is confirmed, and we know they have at least a few hundred 'words' per 'dialect' (distinct languages, perhaps?, and each dolphin has their own unique name.
      The issue with researching this language is they utilize WAY more sounds than we can. We can't even hear much of it. They also seem to use body language to communicate as well, adding extra layers to this.

    • @nutwatch1854
      @nutwatch1854 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      They definitely have language. All evidence indicates that they have had language for millions of years longer than we have. But it appears to be very different from human language, because of the way their brains process sound. It seems that they're only just beginning to figure out the difference themselves.

      That had nothing to do with a "dirty ocean". The dolphin swam into a hook and snapped the line. Sonar is a bigger threat than trash any day. Or do you think beached Wales and dolphins are ok as long as they aren't "dirty"?

      johnnymcblaze I agree sonar is a major problem, how do you know the dolphin swam into a line that broke. It could very well have been discarded line. As for Wales, that’s a country, it’s Whales that beach themselves and yes it’s clear sonar has been found to be the major factor.

    • @johnnymcblaze
      @johnnymcblaze 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@andrewfrost8422 I'm glad you just googled that about whales and sonar. Less glad you act as though you always knew it, but hey, what can you do. As for how I knew it wasn't "discarded line", well I sat down and meditated for an hour, then called Neil degrasse Tyson to conference call the greatest minds of our age. We brainstormed and discovered that a fishing line doesn't just get "discarded" it is either reeled in or snapped off. And even if someone where to think "this bit of line has a voodoo curse on it" and cast it into the ocean, it would sink to the bottom, because of the metal hook.

      Unfortunately, it's not one in a million. Divers across the world have been untangling and cutting free just about every kind of ocean wildlife, including a great number of whales and turtles, for some years now. They even have special dive teams who specifically do this work. Because it's necessary.
      Every year more and more fishing lines and nets and other garbage are put into our waterways by HUMANS! With so much of it present, it's no longer a rare thing to see a diver rescuing every type of water living animal from our garbage. It must be a wonderful experience, for sure. But the fact that we have to do this at all is testament to how negligent humans have become towards our bodies of water. It's everywhere, not just oceans but lakes and rivers too. We are monsters.

    Is incredible how smart dolphins are. I've seen videos about sharks but the dolphin actually knew how to ask for help, knew it could only be helped by that strange creature (the diver), it knew the man was similar to him and friendly (because we have air inside of us like them) and it stayed there waiting for the operation to finish, it even knew how to behave, not to move too much, when to stay and when to leave even when he was probably feeling pain from the movement of the hook.

    • @Yosetime
      @Yosetime 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The dolphin knew it was a human. Not some strange thing with air inside of it. That doesn't make sense. Dolphins don't have air inside them. Nothing similar about a diver and a dolphin. The dolphin knows full well what a human is and knew to ask for help.
