This video is in memory of Paul Walker and made for all those who loved Paul Walker and were fans of the Fast & Furious movies. A lot of people know Paul Walker from the movies and know how much he was a car enthusiast, but very little know what he did and how he gave back. Paul was one of the rare genuine movie stars, he was real down to earth, humble and it showed in what he did. I didn't know him personally, but know one of his best friends that has shared a lot of wonderful stories about him and what he loved doing. When he died on November 30th, 2013, the world truly lost an Angel and a rare soul.

I bought Brian's Toyota Supra Fast and Furious RC drift car at my local Walmart Supercenter for $39.99. Check your local Walmarts and Targets and the links I provided for the Toyota Supra. I have always been a fan of the movies and Paul Walker will always be one of my favorite actors. I have been a car enthusiast since I was a kid. I have been wanting this one because it was the 10 second car and was a car that I wanted to add to my collection that was an important part of the movie.
It actually really does drift and it was fun playing with it. The body does actually look like the Toyota Supra, very detailed and the spoiler is also detailed. You can take the body off as seen in my video and can get another body for it at your local hobby shops. It really is awesome and a lot of fun to drive. Mine took about an hour to charge it, and I got about an hour use of it. Depending on what surfaces you drive it on will vary on how long you will get out of driving it. You can also get more tires online at Amazon or at your local hobby shop for it.
Keep in mind this car handles very differently on different surfaces (smooth polished concrete, rougher driveway, carpet, linoleum) Also keep in mind this car is not made to go fast, it does have turbo boost and it will make it go faster than the regular speed. It's a drift car, that is what it's for.

watched someone else's video about upgrading these, a 3S LiPo instead of the too small to flow good current 3S lithium ion will do it good. from this video, to me it looks like ditching the weight of the front bumper might be enough to enlarge the circle when its doing a donut, as is one front wheel ends up central pivot point. other guy's video removed both bumpers and the central cover to reduce weight doesn't seem a BAD idea, but for weight distribution to handle better, I'd try hot gluing a nickle (5 grams) to the rear, maybe two if one wasn't enough to induce some under-steer. it may be opposite that, with the front actually needing the more weight to pull through, letting the rear be lighter to slide/kick out. its difficult to really know, because your driveway there is really rough! its just toy grade (cool looking one) with bang-bang steering, doesn't mean it can't be made to drift a little nicer. I'd try a better surface, bumpers and center cover removed, bringing some tape and a few coins to experiment with. a penny used to be 3.2 grams, not sure about the newer white metal copper clad "fake" pennies, as far as I know a nickle has been solidly 5 grams always.
@@modelnutty6503 Thanks for your feedback and detailed comment, really appreciate it! I have also watched the video about removing the bumpers and where they changed the battery on it. Yeah my driveway is rough, but it's the only place to drive my cars and film these videos right now. I have always collected RC cars every since I was a kid, but at the moment just don't have enough time to do the upgrades on mine and I'm okay with how it drives for now. I know a lot of people do different things to these, the only thing I did add to the Nissan Skyline GT-R RC car was the underbody blue light kit. I just haven't had enough time to really mess around with the rc cars at the moment I have, maybe later on I can do the upgrades. Thank you again for your comment and watching my video!
@@scallywagcaptainjacksparrow right on, been into RC 35+ years myself, put up a few videos of the cars, not got to the boats and planes yet, scratch built a couple hovercraft too (insane "drifting" anyone?). on channel banner is a pic of one of the hovercraft far left, its coroplast and a pool noodle, ducted single motor type is 2 channel friendly anyway.

I remember my dad always taking me to my local hobby shop when I was a kid and the one we had here had a track and I would love to go watch them. That hobby shop is still open, which is rare now a days with everything closing. I was a kid, now 41 and remember it like it was yesterday. I always got a RC for Christmas, the New Bright ones. I'm car enthusiast. It's always nice to hear from others who love RC cars like I do. I will check it out the pic on your banner. Very cool you built it from scratch a couple hovercraft. I bet that would be insane drifting lol
@@scallywagcaptainjacksparrow zero keel with hovercraft so its nonstop drifting, and impossible to drive it if there's some wind. 58 here and started scratch building 1/2A control line planes age 10-11, it got a little expensive when I got into CL combat, couple crashes every weekend with that.
I just bought on of this yesterday and it is fun.and i was just noticing today that you can switch bodys on the car if you take of the four pins

You can also lower the car by changing the screws

Yo bro i read your comments and i want to know how can i put working lights on these? i kinda want some led lights to just work wirelessly obviously... how can i install underglow? does autozone or walmart have lights for these or?
The ones I used are not wireless but take a 9v battery and still work and look awesome on the Nissan Skyline GT-R, especially at night. If you're looking for wireless ones though Amazon has them and also the company that I bought mine from on Amazon has wireless underglow. Just search underglow or underbody glow for RC cars on Amazon and you should find them. It depends on where you drive it, like on grass or dirt. I got about an hour out of mine for Dom's Dodge Charger RT, the monster one you are referring to. They have all been awesome RC cars to have, depending on which one you like. Hope this helps you and thanks for watching both of my videos!

I have the rx7 and I have done a battery upgrade and rwd conversion. My only complaint is it doesn’t have a throttle controller but for the price well under 100$ I can’t complain

Do you use the turbo boost to drift? Mine doesn’t drift as easy going forward unless I use the boost. It “drifts” easier going in reverse
I always use the turbo boost to drift. In my video I was using the turbo boost to drift the car. The turbo boost is what makes it drift.

What dimensions are the tires And can you buy more separately
There is no information on the dimensions of the tires. You can buy more separately, but you won't find the exact tires the car came with. I always suggest if you buy the car take it to your local hobby shop and they will know what tires will work best for it and Amazon has tires for RC cars. Thanks for watching my video!
If I buy two of these new off ebay can they race against each other? Will they be on the same frequency? I wanna get the supra and the skyline and race em
It can be up to 16 vehicles because the 2.4GHz frequency enables it, but it might have control issues with some types of other vehicles, so keep that in mind. I have tested it with my Nissan Skyline GT-R RC and Toyota Supra and they drive fine without any problems. So it should be just fine. Hope this helps you!

It's honestly going to be up to you. The Toyota Supra and Nissan Skyline are drift cars and that is what they do. Dom's 4x4 Charger doesn't drift and will go over things and way different than the drift cars. I have a video on each one, the Nissan Skyline and Dom's Charger 4x4 if you haven't watched it yet. They are all really fun RC cars. The Toyota Supra Drifts a bit better than the Nissan Skyline in my opinion. If you're a fan of the Fast and Furious movies, go with what car you liked in the movies. You cannot go wrong with whatever car you decide. Thanks for watching my video!

I replied back to you yesterday and said it could be up to 16 vehicles because the 2.4GHz frequency enables it, but it might have control issues with some types of other vehicles, so keep that in mind. I have tested it with my Nissan Skyline GT-R RC that you see in the video by the same company and they drive fine without any problems. So it should be just fine if you buy this one for you both and be able to drive it. Hope this helps you!

It's a 350z. I got the Nissan 350z about 8 years ago at Target, unfortunately they don't make them anymore. It was made for the movie The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift. It has working headlights, taillights, sound and spinning rims. Thanks for watching my video!

I love both the Nissan Skyline GT-R RC and the Toyota Supra will always be my one of my favorites and in my opinion the Toyota Supra drifts a bit better to me. So awesome you have the 350z! I get asked a lot if I will sell mine, but I will never do that because it is rare. That be cool if you made a video of it. Honestly about the comparison, the 350z has the original battery, but I cannot find the charger or my controller for it, so it has not been driven for years. I guess, the day i painted mine yours became a little bit rarer haha hold onto it and for the love of god don't paint it haha i learned my lesson and am keeping the Nissan S15 "stock". We need to collaborate on this video! it's so hard to find information on these tokyo drift versions! The only thing i can tell you is that battery probably won't drive the car for longer than 15 seconds on a full charge after all these years, but can still be good for showing off the engine sounds and the rumble feature if you can get a cheap 9.6V USB charger! i have one or 2 spare but they're pretty cheap either way. My "Black 350Z" at some point is going to be gutted and turned into a hobby grade RC, for now it's a giant bluetooth speaker with purple LED "neons" lol but the Nikko shells are so much better quality than a lot of hobby grade shells so still happy to have it and i will always have my childhood memories of when it was the original gold colour and was fully working. good times! Scared to drive the S15 becuase it's such beautiful condition and only just came out the box! that's why im tempted to get one of these Jada ones but it has to be the same size, gonna go check them out at local toy store at some point soon :)
@@completetechheads I definitely won't be painting mine haha! Yeah you definitely don't see videos or much information on the Tokyo drift ones. I remember when I first got mine and have been collecting RC cars every since I was a kid. Oh the childhood memories I have too, now I feel old haha. Hopefully we can collaborate on the video. Right now I'm pretty busy with a lot of other things in my life and my photography which is what I do. I will definitely check out about getting a charger for it. Love the sound of the purple neons with it, my favorite color actually. I would be scared to drive it also if it's in that condition . My favorite Nissan car will always be the 300z, my friend owned one, not an rc but the actual car and I loved that car. If you do get any of the Jada drift cars let me know. Really appreciate you sharing your love of RC cars with me, always love hearing from others who have these type of cars and it's really awesome you have the 350z.
Do the wheels hold up for a long while? If not can it use normal 1:10 rubber wheels?
The wheels do hold up for a awhile. The Nissan Skyline GT-R RC I also show in my video, I have never changed the tires on that one and it still drifts fine. It has 4 extra tires it comes with also. It should be able to use normal 1/10 tires. I always suggest taking it to your local hobby shop to see what tires would work best for it. Hope this helps you. Thanks for watching my video!
As long as you find wheels the same size as the axle. I believe it’s 8 or 12mm but I’m not certain they will work

The body on the orange Toyota Supra has been durable enough for me. Even the other one you see in the video the silver and blue one, the Nissan Skyline GT-R RC, has also been very durable. I drove that thing into so many things and it's still holding up, just maybe a few scratches on the body. Honestly I was surprised how much the body on the cars has held up. Also the bodies are very very flexible so you hit something with good speed it won't do anything but do NOT spray paint it it with stiffen the body then start cracking on impact

I know you may not answer this, but i have that same Toyota Celica rc car. Unfortunately and no longer runs, I've been looking for replacement parts to fix it but I understand it's been discontinued. I was wondering if the chassis on the Supra or Skyline wood fit it?
Honestly I am not sure if the chassis on the Supra or Skyline would fit it. If you have a hobby shop or a place near you that has RC cars I would suggest taking it to someone like that who can take a look at it and may be able to help you get replacement parts for it. You could do a search on Amazon also for parts.

I have had the R34 for 6 months and still runs fine except you will start to hear clickin sounds coming from it and I have been trying to figure out what it is and have come down to it being the driveshaft or the rear axle but I spray painted the body and it stiffend it up and started cracking when hitting something and so I took it off and done a whole bunch of stuff to it and it looks like a Mad Max race car and also after a while the rear axle will start stripping at the edges but besides all that stuff it is a amazing car for under $50
Very cool you have had your Nissan Skyline GT-R for 6 months now and everything works fine on it. I have had mine for a year now. I also had that very same problem with mine the clicking sound and thought what in the world is wrong with it, but thought it might be the driveshaft or rear axle also. That is awesome you have done different things to it and looks like Mad Max. It really has been a very, very awesome car for the price and fun to drive. @@quickezkills7185 The only thing I have done to my RC vehicles including the Toyota Supra is add lights to it, underbody glow. You can change the stance on the Toyota Supra when you remove the body shell, look at the 4 screws at the bottom where the body shell was over and when you change the screws it lowers the car. I haven't done anything else. Here is a recent video for the lights I used and the other video of a different type of lights I used on the Nissan Skyline GT-R, but will work on the Toyota Supra RC.

Is it possible to change the rims? Like can we buy some wheels with different rims to put on it? Or does it only let us change the tires?
I have never tried it and honestly not sure if you can or can't change the rims because of the key it has to change the tires. I have never tried on mine. The only suggestion is that if you have a local hobby shop near you they could tell you if they can be changed on them. You can change the body and lower the car. Thanks for watching my video!

I was trying to research and find out where you could buy one in Canada. I know Target ships internationally on certain products, but when I looked up the Toyota Supra it wasn't available for shipping at all. Do you have a Walmart in Canada? That is where I purchased mine here in the US at my Walmart Supercenter. The only other thing is if you know someone here in the USA and have them buy it for you and ship it to you. Most are from the Fast and Furious soundtrack. Just have a app I use for the instrumental version of them. Here is the names of the them. Deep Enough by Live, See You Again by Wiz Khalifa ft. if you run out of all the tires is there a place where you can buy them
Amazon has tires for the car, not the original ones that the car has on it. They have all different types of them. I always suggest taking it to hobby shop if you have one near you and they should also have tires that will work for this car. I haven't even changed the tires on the other car you see in the video, the Nissan Skyline GT-R, the silver one and I have had it for a year now. Just to give you an idea of how the tires have held up on that one. It all depends on the surface and how you drive it, but surprisingly the cars tires have held up great on mine and you can see my driveway is rough. Hope this helps you. Thanks for watching my video!

Does this share a chassis with the R34 GTR version? And is it AWD?

I just never want to give the wrong information if they are not, but they are very similar. It could be a cost thing with the company.

Yes! The wheels on the Nissan Skyline GT-R RC car you see in my video have held up great and as you see in my video my driveway is rough. Hi, if you are referring to the orange car, it's the Toyota Supra, the name is on the video of it. All the links to buy it are in my description. Some places online maybe out of stock, but I believe Walmart online has it. If you are meaning the other car, it's the Nissan 350z and I bought that years ago and it's no longer available.

Is the car fast or I have always press the power button ( the red one) to drift?
If you're looking for a really fast RC car, this may not be the one for you. It's a drift car and that is what it was made to do. It's fast enough to me. The turbo button, the red button is what makes it really drift and go faster to do those drifts like you see me do in my video. Yes I always pressed the turbo button to drift. If you're looking for something a bit faster, Dom's Dodge Charger RT 4x4 that you see in this video goes fast and I have a video for that one. It's a really fun drift car to have though. @@scallywagcaptainjacksparrow I'll find out soon (one on the way), if the turbo button can be pinned ON all the time and proportional throttle all done with the trigger, it'd be nicer. its also possible the button just locks full throttle on and the trigger is bypassed, so the idea wouldn't work out.

@@scallywagcaptainjacksparrow at 40 bucks with free delivery who could resist? if the button is only locking in full power I'll say "heck with it" and swap in normal hobby electronics wont be difficult, only need to pick up a brushed ESC that can run 3S, or possibly swap in a faster spinning 380/390 to run it 2S. not much of my hobby stuff is ever left stock anyway lol.
I took the driveshaft out of mine to divert the power that was going to the front to the back and it just spins out
I have always just left all my RC cars alone and don't do nothing to them, but have added some lights to them. I wouldn't of took the driveshaft out.

My friend years ago had a red Supra and that car was fast and it was fun to drive in. I have been a car enthusiast all my life and it's always nice to hear from others that love the Fast and Furious movies and have a love for cars. If I could of used the sound for the Supra I would of, but the sounds I had on my app had the option of the Mitsubishi Eclipse. I spent a lot of time on this video with editing it and making it in memory of Paul and for the fans.

No the Toyota Supra, Dodge Charger RT and Nissan Skyline GT-R does not have sound in it at all that I show in my video. The other two RC cars that I have the 350z and Toyota Celica I have had for over 9 years and are not available anymore. The 350z did have sound that I have. Thanks for watching my video!

What’s that black car and where can I buy it?
The black car is a Toyota Celica and I have had it for over 9 years. They don't make it anymore at all. It's one of my favorites I have collected over the years because it has working headlights, taillights and underbody glow.
How long does the battery last until it dies
I get about 20 minutes or more out of mine. Keep in mind different surfaces will depend on how long the battery last.

@@comptonbornraised5873 There won't be none made just for the Nissan Skyline GT-R. You will have to buy aftermarket ones, but not all will fit. I have seen where people have changed the tires and got them on Amazon. I always suggest that if you have a hobby shop near you to take the car and they could tell you what can and cannot work with the car. I have yet to change mine.

Which one is the best?
Keep in mind the drift cars are for drifting and the Dodge Charger RT 4x4 is not a drift car. It depends on what type of RC car you're looking for. The Toyota Supra and the Nissan Skyline GT-R RC cars are both really awesome drift cars. With those two drift cars it just depends on if you like the Toyota Supra or Nissan Skyline GT-R. The Toyota Supra drifted a bit better in my opinion. The Dodge Charger RT 4x4 goes a bit faster than the drift cars and can drive on grass and is a lot different than the drift cars. I have a video also on the Dodge Charger RT and Nissan Skyline if you want to check them out to decide. The other RC cars you see in the video the Nissan 350z and Toyota Celica are no longer available, I have had them for over 8 years. Honestly it's going to be up to you which one you want, they are all really great RC cars to have. Hope this helps you. Thanks for watching my video!

I actually had that with the first Toyota Supra I bought. It would be fine and drive okay and stopped responding. I took it back and got a new one because I never could find out why it did that.

Can you race with others and not have issues with control ?
I have never tried it myself. It does say though on the box 2.4GHz frequency enables up to 16 vehicles. It might have control issues with some types of other vehicles, so keep that in mind.
